Family-friendly holiday rentals in Halton

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the bungalow. It was perfect for visiting Chester zoo which was less than 5 minutes drive away. The accommodation was spot on, with the hot tub and coffee machine being particular highlights! Thanks so much.

This was our second visit to Lynne's place and once again we had a wonderful time. Lynne was a congenial host and the apartment had everything as described. A two minute walk takes one down to the River Mersey foreshore with paved footpath alongside, and Anthony Gormley's "The Men" can be seen en route. From the kitchen the view of the garden and over to the West Lancashire Golf Course is delightful. Parking right outside and short walk to train station were a bonus. We look forward to another return visit one day.

Lovely house. Super clean, hot tub was great and the pool table was a great addition. Secure paddock for the dog to run around and the host was amazing moving the sheep and alpacas into the far paddock to accommodate. Would book again.

Home farm is so magical and special! So many years of history as well as beautifully designed new parts which blended perfectly together. Absolutely everything we needed for special family time together in the most gorgeous surroundings and so peaceful too. We used Around the Table caterers for a special breakfast which was also wonderful. We hope to return! Thanks Sophie and Lisa for a great stay and responding to all our queries x

Very proactive hosts, lovely apartment, loved the location especially feeding the ducks and later relaxing in the hot tub. Easy stroll into Ruthin. Will definitely use again if we visit the area.

We stayed here for a 40th birthday party with a number of other families including young children, and had a whale of a time. The photos for the listing don’t do it justice - it’s beautiful inside and out and very private. The hot tub was the highlight of the stay - it’s absolutely huge. Adults and kids spent the whole weekend in it. There are lovely walks from just outside the property - lud’s church was beautiful. We organised a supermarket delivery to the property for just after check in which went without a hitch. We’ll definitely be back for more family gatherings and events - we can’t recommend it enough!

We had a lovely stay! The house was perfect—spacious, clean, and even bigger than the pictures suggest. We really enjoyed a scenic walk along the river, which the dogs absolutely loved. We also visited the local pub; it had a great atmosphere, though it was fully booked for food, so we’d recommend reserving a table in advance. Overall, a relaxing and comfortable break in a beautiful setting. Would definitely return!

Julie's place was immaculate and extremely comfortable. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were immaculate. The kitchen had everything required for making meals or anything else. Julie was extremely proactive and the next time I am working in the area I will definitely look to book here again.

We had a fantastic stay at Billy’s place. Getting in was super easy and once inside the rooms looked exactly like the photos. Amazing location with the train to Liverpool a 2 minute walk. Over the bridge a five minute walk was a small grocery store, local pub, pharmacy, coffee shop and an authentic fish n chip shop. At least half a dozen restaurants within walking distance. Easy access to WiFi and logging into entertainment apps on the TV. Billy was a great host and super responsive when we reached out to him. 10/10 highly recommend this Airbnb.

This apartment is in a perfect location for sightseeing. Five minutes walk from Albert Docks and the shopping centre. Lots of bars and restaurants also within easy walking distance. The apartment was clean and well equipped and there was plenty of room for the 5 of us

We had great stay with my colleagues, the flat was clean, nice neighbourhood. The host was very helpful and responsive, we had problem with water heating and it was fixed the same day. Thank you for being so fast.

A fantastic place near the heart of Liverpool. Whilst in the midst it was a great location for us & the house itself amazing. Whilst central it was surprisingly an oasis of quiet. There is loads of original life art work & quirky, fun, original & funky decor, fixtures & fittings this is the place💗. Kitchen was spacious well equipped & the beds comfortable. Gregory was extremely helpful and responsive to me & my queries - nothing too much trouble. The sauna looked amazing but as we were there hottest weekend of year we didn’t actually use it. I would totally recommend Gregory as a host and feel privileged to have experienced the unique ambience of the Art House. Thank you Gregory👏

I booked to stay in one of Rembrandt’s apartments, unfortunately there was an issue with the one I had booked, so very kindly, Rembrandt had moved us into a nicer apartment, free of charge. The apartment we stayed in was lovely! Very nicely decorated, extremely clean and newly renovated! James himself was always helpful, responded extremely quickly, gave us recommendations of things to do. A brilliant stay was had by all! If you’re looking to stay in liverpool with a larger group, I definitely recommend one of Rembrandt’s apartments!

A great flat in an awesome location. Super easy to navigate to sights, shopping, and restaurants. Derek was super kind and responsive to questions. This spot is perfect to take in Liverpool and all that is has to offer!

We had a fabulous stay at the apartment great location, clean with a very comfortable bed. Also with a short walk into town past historic buildings. A big plus for us was the parking permit and being able to park just outside the apartment. We really loved Liverpool and will be returning and staying at this apartment again definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed being so close to lovely parks and Lark Lane, which feels like how we wish our neighborhood could be! Great restaurants, walks, souvenirs and people. The location was very comfortable and the interior looks better than the online photos. 5 stars, two thumbs up, and highly recommended!
