We had a lovely weekend get away stay. The dome had all the necessities as well as a sauna. Lots of wildlife too.

Very cozy place! It was right by the water with a beautiful view. Very convenient as well. We were about a 30 minutes drive from Downtown Halifax. Ashley was very responsive and helpful. Beautiful place and amazing host! I'd stay there again. :)

Caroline’s suite was spacious and beautifully decorated with elegance and simplicity. The walls were lined with an extensive library and games/toys available for children. The bed was comfortable and kitchenette stocked with coffee/tea and snacks. The gorgeous gardens were displaying their spring gloryand viewable from the comfortable sitting area. I enjoyed the resource books on the area’s geology and the tidal bore was amazing and nearby. The trails brought us around the garden and through the woods to the river- another tidal bore viewing area and home to family of bald eagles. Caroline was a thoughtful and attentive host who left a bouquet of fresh blooms including bleeding hearts to welcome us🥰 Our one night stay was not long enough.

Excellent location with a beautiful sunrise view. I highly recommend for easy access to beaches and other restaurants or park amenities.

From the moment we walked into Jennifer’s home we felt so comfortable. The home is beautifully laid out and was very clean. It had everything we could have needed for our stay. Jennifer was so helpful with recommendations of things to do in the area and she was always very quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the Halifax area.

This place was great, beautiful house and perfect distance from the city. Their dog is very friendly and great to play with outside in the back. Clean place and had everything we need.

Location is everything! This property is located in a peaceful and picturesque setting, a mere steps from the famous lighthouse. House was spacious and comfortable, we enjoyed our stay.

We had 7 people travelling together and this place had all the room and amenities we needed. Big kitchen to cook in, great common area to relax in together and a fabulous view of the lake. It was early in the season so too cold to use the pool but it looked like it would be great. Thanks for having us!

Gustave va beaucoup s’ennuyer de Maple. Petit commentaire QUI N’EST PAS UNE CRITIQUE. Le réfrigérateur n’est pas très grand alors, ne pas faire une trop grosse épicerie à chaque fois. Nous sommes arrivés avec trop de choses et tout ne rentrait pas. Mais encore une fois ce n’est pas grave. Il y une épicerie pas tres loin. Ça se fait très bien. Faut juste pas prévoir trop longtemps d’avance si vous avez une grosse famille comme la mienne. La piscine est extraordinaire!!!!! Près de pleins de belles plages . Nous avons passé un super beau moment en famille!!!

we absolutely loved our stay in the cottages! We were able to use a lot of their amenities, Kayaks, boat, pool.. it was so much fun and we made some great memories as a family! Thank you to Katelyn for the great cottage and customer service, we hope to come back again :)

David’s property overlooking Shad Bay is a gem with a wonderful view! The kitchen was well stocked, and he even provided a dozen eggs, juice and bread should one desire a hearty breakfast to cook on a two burner induction hot plate. The kitchen, while large, is not designed to cook full dinners. The bed was very comfortable. David’s decorating style is eclectic with a good dose of contemporary mixed in with traditional furnishings and the art taking center stage. David greeted us upon arrival and we spoke with him every morning. We had delightful conversation. A highlight for us was interacting with Molly and Peaches, a small poodle and a large doodle. We would highly recommend David’s accommodation!

We loved this little gem. Very clean, had everything we needed and more. Beautiful walking around the neighbourhood and to the ferry. The neighbourhood felt safe. Comfortable bed and just all over wonderful!

Bruce was the perfect hostess and very accommodating. Him and his wife even invited us to join them for Christmas dinner. The accommodations were very clean and inviting. It was beautiful decorated with some Christmas decorations. The shower head was the best I have had. I need to ask Bruce what kind it is. We were able to check in early and check out at our leisure. I will definitely be staying again if need be

We had a fantastic experience at this rental home. The location was ideal, and perfectly situated near all the amenities and activities we had planned. My husband loved the scenic surroundings and nearby hills, which were great for his daily running schedule (as did my daughter and her family for their walks). The property matched the description and was impeccably clean, which we all appreciated. The layout and design were well-suited for our small family, offering both convenience and functionality. The kitchen was fully equipped and well-stocked, making meal prep easy. As a first-time Airbnb user, I was thoroughly impressed by the seamless experience and the host's prompt communication. Highly recommend this place and would happily stay again!

The host was so kind to let us charge our car on their property with our janky 100ft extention cord. The host was so kind when we met them in person one morning.
