Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Halifax County

This is a great place to stay. Everything you see is here. Clean comfortable getaway and quiet. Well worth the price I would say. My only slight complaint that can't be helped is the internet is a little slow for gaming. Watching movies on the Big roku TV works like a charm. Overall I loved it and the host were very accommodating and responsive. They even let us bring our small Christmas tree for the holiday. Definitely book this place!

We had such a wonderful time during our stay! My family of four felt right at home. Everything was super clean and comfy, and Dwitt and Jackie were simply amazing—so friendly and caring! We loved them! They really went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience possible. The screened-in porch was our favorite spot! The house was equipped with all the essentials we needed, which made everything even easier. We also had a blast fishing off the dock, catching a variety of fish including catfish, freshwater drum, and bream. My kids had the best time swimming with their donut floaties, and we tied them to the dock so they could splash around without drifting away. There is also a camping ground nearby where you can go to swim, play, and cook out. ( Buffalo Springs Park) $7 per car for the day. They really enjoyed every moment! I will be coming back!!!❤️

Paul has done a wonderful job with this Air B&B. We were visiting family and brought our dogs along with us. The fenced back yard was amazing b/c the dogs were able to run and play safely. Fire pit, teether ball, frisbee golf, picnic table and more. Inside the unit was clean and comfortable. Super comfortable beds. Coffee maker was an awesome addition. For anyone visiting the area, we would recommend this stay.

This was our 2nd year taking our guys trip to the house. There’s 12 of us, and this house has plenty of room. The house is perfect for a fishing trip. The crappie fishing is phenomenal in bluestone creek and we caught enough to feed us all and bring some back to Maryland. The

We continue to be blown away by this property, after our second year attending Hyperfest. Such a nice place to wind down after the action at VIR and our entire group was very happy with it. We look forward to returning next year!

This was our second stay here! Very comfortable and cozy home! Found all the essentials for our stay. Great location to lake and town. Appreciate that bath towels and linens are provided, definitely a deciding factor. Host were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely consider staying there again in the future.

We absolutely loved staying at Sharon's! The surroundings are so beautiful and we loved being able to spend time outside during our stay. It was the perfect location for what we needed. We'll definitely be back!

We had a great stay. The home is as pictured. We were so happy to have a king sized bed to crash into each night. We were moving so we were hardly there. Up early in the morning and back late at night. So the bed being comfortable was a God send!! Wish more places offered a king bed but they are hard to find. Thankful Laurie let us extend our stay by another day. We were not done moving and needed another day. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Fantastic experience

Comfy beds decent pillows. Quite small but cozy. The included breakfast at the restaurant is nice.

Been quite a few spots on Airnb. Catherine and Shawn are truly the best host I have experienced….and not even close. They enjoy sharing their slice of heaven to those who appreciate all it has to offer. Gorgeous property to get out and explore and take it all in .It’s a trip my son and I always look forward to.

Cooper’s landing is always amazing stay! This was my third time staying and every single time has been accommodating to our needs in every way: from dinner reservations (and all of our indecisions), to dietary needs (vegetarian), to early morning breakfast needs and so much more. All staff members are easy to communicate with, polite and friendly.

Cute cottage and a cute town. Ended up booking during the town’s annual lake fest and very nice. Great cottage and was a bed a breakfast. Bonus although we were there for the lake so went out early the days we were there. Would book again

My colleague and I stayed here for work, but we both agreed it would be a nice place to vacation! The house was very cozy and clean, and our host Nichol was kind and welcoming. Definitely a nice place to get away for a while!

Such a nice option for a stay in Clarksville. The best part is even though you have your own house, you still receive the amazing Cooper's Landing breakfasts to your door. Always an enjoyable experience, and they have the kindest people working at the Inn when you choose to dine over there.... which we do even when not staying there. One of my favorite places in town. Hope to stay there again soon, as its nice to be in town for a whole weekend.

My family loves coming to Spencer Hill each year for the Halifax Country Club Member Guest tournament. Spacious enough for our family and friends and we can walk across the street to the course. Always super clean and Mary Jo is an amazing host!! 10 Stars every time!!

My family and I had a very relaxing stay at James’s place! It was so quaint and comfortable and the surroundings were so lush and serene! He gave us some great restaurant recommendations and shared a full itinerary of possible sights and activities in town as well as the surrounding neighborhoods also. There was a small snafu regarding wifi accessibility but James worked diligently to rectify everything and we appreciated how proactive he was with any requests we had as well. Would, definitely, recommend this property to couples wanting a little getaway or a family with 1 or 2 small children as well. The yard has a nice area for sitting and playing corn hole or darts too. Good times!

Went on a three day fishing trip to Buggs Island lake, it was great to be able to back my boat in the garage and keep it out of the evening storms, very private place , peaceful and at night nature is alive and well outside, bright stars to look at and the bed was comfy. Great place to stay for a fishing trip

Great place to stay near Kerr Lake only 10 minutes from the boat ramp we launched from. Easy parking and clean house. She was very responsive when I had a question about something. Would definitely stay again in the future.

We absolutely loved staying in this secluded beautiful house! The fire pit was amazing, and we loved the decor! It was quiet, and peaceful. Perfect for a getaway from the city with children. We took our 2 year old who loves to be outside and we genuinely felt safe and secure in this home. We already booked again! Absolutely wonderful! The hosts were so nice, and had great communication! They had so much on hand items that so many people don’t think to have. She even had pads and tampons for guests, just in case! I loved that so much. Especially for young children, if you have toddlers it’s a great stay! You don’t even need to bring a pack and play. They have one for you! Thank you so much for letting us stay at your wonderful home! We can’t wait to come back!

If you love the country, quiet, and peace. This is the place for you. This amazing place has a tremendous amount of land with a view of cows, horses, clouds and trees. If you need to get away from the bustle of the city, this is your place. Clean, Quiet and an amazing host. Very friendly and will help you at anytime! I needed an iron and she did not hesitate to help! Will definitely come back.

Emily is a great host and very responsive. The house is clean and comfortable. The outside screened porch is a wonderful space and very peaceful. Emily had a list of area activities, restaurants, coffee, and pastries. We had a full agenda this trip so did not try any of Emily’s suggestions but we will be back to grab a long, relaxing weekend soon.
