Great location, short walk to the beautiful lake, and short distance to town. Super nice neighborhood, very clean and accommodating. Spacious and laid out well. I loved the sound machine for sleeping and the fan. Built in wireless chargers for cell phones, was nice. Large spacious kitchen, with lots of tea and coffee options to chose from. Great place to stay!! Definitely will come again!

While working in South Boston I stayed here three night. I should say that I stayed on the property, I actually stayed in a different room that had a private restroom. The building itself is very interesting. Definitely enjoy the history of the place. A good value, great value over any hotel. I did have trouble finding it. GPS kept taking me to the wrong side of the highway, through no fault of the owner, of course. There are large pillars and I’ll sign with a light. The light happen to be out when I came through. Convenient location. I would definitely stay again

Our quilt group, The Glory Quilters, had a wonderful time at Desi's retreat. Everything was provided from sewing machines to irons to pins. Our group didn't need bring anything but ourselves and the quilt project! Definitely a wonderful venue and any quilter or crafter will appreciate how well the sewing stations, tools and supplies are organized. Desi greeted us all and made us feel right at home. She's very friendly and thoughtful and looked after our every need. Highly recommended!!!
