Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Haliburton County

Had a great stay during a long weekend with my girlfriend. The place was clean, the view was gorgeous, and the public access point was great for people watching. Met the owners and they were very friendly too.

Joan and Clayton are two wonderful persons. They welcomed us very warmly and were all the time ready to help us when needed and even went the extra mile. The apartament was just perfect, very bright, spacious, tidy, clean and well furnished with all the necessery to cook. We really enjoyed our stay at their accomodation and are glad to have met them and theirs sweet dog. Highly recommended!!!

We were so happy to stay at this cottage! The house was cozy and welcoming, and both our child and our dog had an amazing time. It was the perfect place for a fun and relaxing family getaway. We would love to come back again!

Amazing stay!! We were blown away by just how beautiful and thoughtful the cottage amenities were. The decor is like a luxury hotel - everything is brand new and perfect. We appreciated all the different outdoor spaces and made use of the dock, the deck, the fire pit and the hot tub. Despite the terrible weather, we still had lots to do and felt like a dream getaway. Can't wait to go back again!

Although the rainy anf chill weather made our bike riding trip to a simple gathering, although the widely Bell Internet outage did give us a little bit of difficulty. Buy few long time no see friends got to drink and chat in the lovely place was all worth the trip. This place is well decorated, clean and comfy. Good location for staying if you want to access those beautiful windy road in that area. Will definitely book this place again.

This place was a great size for our group of 10 and had a very spacious and comfortable main room where we could all gather to eat, play games and relax. The sauna is a nice feature as well. The kitchen was very well equipped. Kersti and her co-hosts were very responsive, accomodating and helpful.

This perfectly outfitted cottage/cabin in the woods is private but just a short drive from town. There are several pleasant outdoor areas to enjoy the fresh air and birds and some family games. The screened in porch is comfortable for lounging and dining. The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped. Beds appeared to be almost new and were very comfortable. Many thanks for ‘arranging’ the special welcome committee of young deer in the woods near the back door! Very special!

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux dans cet appartement au bord de l'eau. L'emplacement est parfait pour se reposer et profiter de la nature environnante. L'arrivée et le départ se sont faits sans encombre grâce à l'organisation impeccable des hôtes. De plus, l'appartement était d'une propreté irréprochable. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Windfall felt like a home away from home and had everything we needed to cook and was very clean. It was also close to alot of cool hikes and the cute towns which my partner and i found scenic and peaceful this time of year. (Oct)

Parkers place offers a wonderful stay in the heart of Haliburton, minutes from the village. It feels like a retreat, very quiet and peaceful overlooking the trees. The apartment is spacious, clean, and well equipped. Comfortable bedrooms and a luxurious bathroom. I also really appreciated the very well-equipped kitchen. Parker was a great host, very responsive to communications and available if any questions came up. I’d highly recommend this accommodation as a great place to stay in the Haliburton area. Everything was great! The place matched the description perfectly — very clean, cozy, and comfortable. The host was friendly and always ready to help. The location is surrounded by nature and close to Algonquin Park — perfect for those who enjoy peace, nature, and outdoor activities. The area felt safe and was convenient for getting around. Relaxing, fantastic stay. Due to rain, Cheryl allowed us to check in earlier and greeted us at the car with an umbrella. She went above and beyond for us and I am so grateful. Beautiful home

The apartment was spotless and had everything I needed, including an iron and ironing board. I really appreciated all the local information provided in a binder (which saved me having to do some homework ahead of time), including details about the trails. I hiked up to a beautiful lookout which was just 7min away. The bed was so comfortable and greatly appreciated having the duvet. Highly recommend this Airbnb!

Wonderful experience from start to the end. Lisa goes above and beyond with best accommodation and recommendations. Felt like we came home and enjoyed peaceful and beautiful surroundings. My favorite place was by the dock, surrounded by clear waters and greenery for miles. We had enjoyed taking daily canoe trips, visiting waterfall as per Lisa’s recommendation! Thanks again!
