Holiday rentals with a kayak in Haldimand County

Great stay for a large group- nice and spacious! Was exactly as explained in the description, so we were prepared with water :) just like the photos too! Outdoor furniture was comfortable and great to hangout on all day!

We enjoyed our stay! The house is very clean and accommodated our family of six comfortably. We enjoyed the view, the hot tub, and the kayaks. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed. The town itself did not offer much to do in late spring when we were there, but we found our way to area attractions (Stratford, Niagara Falls area). All of the amenities at the house also kept us plenty busy! The road is very peaceful and secluded. Thank you for a lovely stay!

This place was perfect for our trip. The location allowed us to take day trips to several nearby attractions including Toronto and Niagara Falls. The house itself was immaculate. No detail was overlooked when designing and supplying this residence. The kitchen had everything we needed for the week. We enjoyed the selection of glassware to match our choice of beverage - nice touch! The front room was cozy and comfortable as were the bedrooms. We were delighted to see the variety of well cared for games and puzzles. The best part was the view! Beautiful. We walked the beach every day. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to use the kayak, canoe or fire pit due to weather. The neighbor’s side of the shared driveway had a bit of activity as well as an immobile car parked there. We chose to use the driveway in back instead. Overall, this is an amazing property for the price and location. Loved it!!!

I absolutely loved my stay at this property! The house was exactly like the photos—beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The PlayStation with a variety of games was a fun bonus, and the jacuzzi was always ready to use, which made it perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. The location was another highlight—just a short walk to the lake. I truly enjoyed my little vacation here and would 100% return. Highly recommended!

Amanda was incredible! She ensured we had everything we needed for our stay and then some. I really appreciated her thoughtfulness and attention to detail when she left a small Easter treat and sea glass “hunt” for her within the space. It’s clear she put an insane amount of love into the property which is felt as soon as you walked through the door. Our absolutely favourite spot was that sitting area in the front, the large windows perfectly framed the lake, making our time peaceful, relaxing and just wonderful. My daughter loved the short and easy walk down to the water (it became a daily activity of hers). The neighborhood was great, with so many friendly neighbours saying hi - made the experience so nice for our little family. Thanks again!

This was such a serene place to be. Private, beautiful view, quiet. So much entertainment and fun reviews to read in the guest book. I love that all of the local places use local produce/dairy/meat. My partner and I would love to stay again. Jason and Robbin were also amazing hosts! We had a minor plumbing issue (no one's fault, just the reality of cottage life :) ). Jason and Robbin answered on the sexond ring and the plumbers were in and out and the problem solved within 2 hours. I can't sing this place's praises enough!!

We loved our stay at Ying’s place! We booked it to view the solar eclipse and it was perfect. Very lovely deck and view of Lake Erie. Ying was very communicative and flexible with our checkin and checkout times since it was the off season and I appreciated that.

Our stay included 2 couples going for a relaxing weekend with bon fires and boardgames. Place was super easy to find and host left it clean for us. The game table, flat top grill and fire pit were great! We had most meals at the outdoor picnic table and played some evening board games outside with a fire going. Wifi was great. Neighbours were barely there and/or super quiet. There were paddle boards and kids kayaks available but we didn’t use. We appreciated the kitchen was fully stocked with all plates/utensils/etc that we needed. There were a lot of spider nests around but that’s not the fault of the host, it’s just that time of year. This location would be great for a motorcycle trip next year since it has all the small appliances/kitchen utensils/bedding provided and location is super scenic!

The cottage was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The lake was beautiful and we spent hours floating around and swimming. The outdoor seating options were amazing for lounging and dining and just enjoying the lake view and the sunsets. Tabatha and Kris went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home and their communication was seamless! They were responsive and the information they sent was helpful and considerate, ensuring our stay was comfortable from start to finish. Thank you Tabatha and Kris for a lovely and relaxing break!!!

Had a great time at Rebecca's! Her property was as described, and had everything we needed. There was 6 if us in total and it felt spacious. The Lakeview and surroundings were perfect and felt peaceful. Rebecca was very responsive to my inquiries. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to return sometime
