We had a great stay at this property with three couples and two toddlers. The rooms were a little cramped with a crib, but perfectly adequate. The kitchen has the standard equipment of appliances – a delicious coffee machine kept us on foot, but should now be replaced (no one had reported to the hosts before). The surroundings and the ambience with a view of the castle are simply fantastic. In sunshine you can spend the whole day on the premises without getting boring. The dogs often roam freely and are very affectionate and playful, so wonderful for dog lovers! The sauna instructions could be a little more detailed, but after some we also got them to work. All in all, a great place to just unwind or spend time with friends or family. Would recommend to anyone!

We very much enjoyed the stay in Thuin. The house has many nooks and crannies, which makes it pleasant to stay there with a large group. In addition, the garden and swimming pool made for an unforgettable weekend! We highly recommend it.

Absolute heaven. A slice of peaceful paradise. We stayed for just 1 night on our way through Europe with two boys aged 11 and 8. Within minutes of arriving we were swimming in the beautiful swimming pool, eating in the gorgeous kitchen, stroking the sweet dog and cats, playing ping pong, table football and wishing we were staying for longer. Highly recommend. Generous, kind warm hosts. Thank you for making it so memorable and special.

Stany's villa is fantastic and Stany is a great host! Responds very quickly to questions and always tries to think along. I was allowed to check in earlier to decorate the house. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were clean and the garden was beautiful! Very spacious villa, the bedrooms are exactly as in the photos. There is also enough space for a large group, and for all the groceries. I would definitely come here again! We had a fantastic weekend.

Great House! Very comfortable, highly recommend!

Beautifully decorated home full of authentic elements. Although the village was clearly alive, it was very quiet. Very easy location to go into nature & then have a snack in the local pizzeria or brasserie.

We had a lovely stay with the family for 2 nights at Alexandra's place. We were 4 adults and 3 children including a baby. The owner is adorable, very nice, available and caring. A big thank you for the small welcome chocolates, the children loved these treats! The accommodation is modern, well equipped (oven, microwave, dishwasher, iron, crib available ...) it is tastefully decorated, spacious and above all very quiet, surrounded by fields as far as the eye can see: a real haven of peace. Small downside for families with young children: the staircase has a railing on one side, and no safety gate upstairs, so be very vigilant. Also, in one of the bedrooms, the two glued single beds leave a slight gap in the middle when lying down, which is not ideal for a couple if you have a child sleeping with you. Despite these small details, we highly recommend this rental. Excellent host, warm welcome

Always a pleasure staying at Elisabeth and Geraud’s place. They are super nice. This was our second visit so we already knew the place. Very good if you have a dog.

Great location for cycling

As it is in the photo, it is even much better in person. The place is really spacious and everyone from us had a comfortable place to rest and sleep. The kitchen is fully equipped and we were able to make good homemade food. The while place was very clean and tidy. It felt really home. Our hosts are also very responsive and nice. We highly recommend it!

We were warmly welcomed by Bruno and Annie in their gîte "le Quesnoi". A nice compact space with everything you need. The outdoor space was a wonderful oasis of peace, Ibiza style, a large beautiful garden with palm trees with a swimming pool that you could use for a small fee. Our reason for booking an Airbnb here was that it was close to the Pairi Daiza zoo. A visit to this zoo is highly recommended! The city of Tournai is also definitely worth a visit. We also went to an Oldtimer museum in nearby Leuze and Hainaut and visited the castle of Beloeuil.

Very good stay in Christophe's cottage. 10-15 minutes' drive from Pairai Daiza, it's a great base for visiting the zoo over 2 days. Christophe is very kind and available. The cottage is consistent with the descriptions and photos, well-equipped and quiet. It allowed us to have a great time with the family. If we come back to the area, we'll probably go back to their place to drop off our bags

Amazing stay! The place was clean , well maintained with a modern style with everything you need at hand. The hosts were very helpful and always responsive. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

Upon entering, the atmosphere is set: soft lighting, elegant and sensual decoration, everything is designed to create an intimate and warm atmosphere. The room was very clean, well-equipped (jacuzzi, light games, ceiling speakers with special attention to small details The jacuzzi was a real plus, very clean and perfectly functional, ideal for relaxing for two. The sound insulation is good, you really feel like you're in a cocoon, far from everyday stress. An excellent choice for a couple, romantic or simply to rekindle the flame. Super nice and well equipped Airbnb. Fully equipped. Highly recommendable. Beautiful walks in the area and plenty of other activities to do, from Geocashen to beer tasting. Please note that sleeping place 5&6 is a sofa bed in a room that is not lockable and is located next to the living room.

We were looking for a house to spend a weekend with friends. We were all pleasantly surprised how this beautiful house is arranged. It's super fun how you can get lost in the house. There is also plenty to do in the house to spend your evenings here. The square of Mons is within walking distance, and you can be there in 5 minutes. We had a great time and I would recommend this to other people. Thanks!

We had 3 very nice days with the eight of us in this house. Beautiful kitchen, very nice rooms with bathrooms so that was very pleasant. Unfortunately, the weather was not so good during our stay, but this house lends itself perfectly to cooking/dining and drinking by the fireplace. However, there is very little to do in the village. It felt like a ghost town with only 2 bakeries open. If you are looking for a quiet environment, this is very suitable, but if you are looking for some 'life in the brewery', there is only the beer tasting of Chimay where you can go and then it stops. All in all, a nice house for a large family or an older group that comes for relaxation.
