This is a dream location. There are lots of windows to fill up with spectacular views of the ocean. The cottage is lovely and comfortable with an open space to unwind and soak up the beauty of the place. Lots of necessities in tge cupboards. All you need for an unforgettable stay.

You won’t believe it until you see it!!!! The most incredible view that just goes on forever…we brought 2 dogs and the surroundings were absolutely perfect for them. Sean was great and kept in touch with us the whole week, even brought us fresh eggs from his hens!!!! Everything was perfect and we had an awesome time.

It was amazing, couldn't ask for a better host then Jennifer, very caring about her guest and making them feel at home, anything needed they are there in a heart beat, will deffinitly book again when available in the future :) the scenery is beautiful, theirs no place like being by the ocean makes you feel at home ❤️ very clean house, beautiful inside and out! and to top it off the hot tub was an amazing thing to have to relax in during our vacation/stay & the kids loved the ocean & kayaks and fishing off the warf, 10/10 rated stay :)

Excellent little 3 bedroom cottage right at waters edge. View doesn't get better than this and grabbing the provided kayaks and launching directly from your own garden is priceless. Laura was a fantastic and forthcoming host, I asked her if I could borrow a fishing rod and within an hour somebody was at the door and delivered me one!

Trina’s place was beautiful. Her description matched perfectly. Beautiful view of the water right down from the driveway, where we could watch the boats coming in. Even saw some jellyfish! Trina gave us some good recommendations. Her place was very clean, and beds were very comfortable. We will definitely book again our next trip up!

A very nice and homely cottage right by calm water in Isle Madame. It’s well equipped in all aspects.

What a wonderful place! We had such a lovely time and did not want to leave. The property is gorgeous all around and the view is absolutely spectacular. It’s quiet and peaceful with lots of space yet still close to amenities. The cottage is beautiful inside too - it’s very clean, cozy and comfortable. The hosts and property manager are incredible with excellent communication. Every aspect of our stay was delightful and we would love to return!

This was our 2nd stay and it was even better then the first, and only cause the weather was better. Both times, the place was clean, quiet and exactly as listed. Even was able to have a nice campfire as Tanya provided wood pellets and a firepit. Top notch all the way. I would recommend any of the 3 Caper Cottages for anyone looking to explore Cape Breton or just looking for even a weekend getaway. Will def be going back for a 3rd stay at some point. oh and the baby geese were ADORABLE!!!

Beautiful location and beautiful cottage. Pristine condition and everything a person needs to settle in. We came prepared with our own items but they have provided many things. It is set up to have an experience and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Get some lobster and relax!

I would highly recommend. Kristy's place. It is very private with your own access to the lake. There is lots to do with canoes, lifesjackets, and washertoss games available. Or you can just relax on the back deck and enjoy the view.

Situated meters from the water, our cabin was a perfect couples get away. Thoughtfully appointed, extremely clean and above all very private. Although there are a couple of cabins on the property, there never was a time where we felt the presence of others. The hot tub privacy and views are amazing, and our hostess was very responsive. Above all, definitely a stay we want to do again. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone wanting to experience a natural and private couples retreat.

We cannot recommend Kathryn and John’s home enough! I wish we could have stayed forever! The location is perfect- just steps from the water. The home was spectacular and well equipped for everything. The beds were very comfortable. The sheets and towels smelled fantastic! Great space for a family event! We had some car trouble while we were visiting and Kathryn and John did everything possible to assist us in getting the help we needed. They were wonderful hosts. I have stayed in dozens of Airbnb s over the years and this was one of my absolute favorites! Thank you Kathryn and John!

We really enjoyed staying here - it was peaceful, secluded and had really beautiful surroundings. Liane was very responsive, really helpful and always polite and friendly in her communication but otherwise the hosts gave us privacy and space. We loved spending time in the spa late at night; the landscaping and lighting made it very atmospheric and relaxing. We also really enjoyed the fire pit and BBQ, and walking through the woods and nearby St Esprit beach. The cottage was comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. I couldn't recommend this place more if you are looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful to spend a few days. It's also only a 25 minute drive to Saint Peters if you are looking for shops and restaurants. Our only complaint was that the weather wasn't good enough for us to take the kayaks out for the first couple of days, but sadly no-one can change the weather and it was a good excuse to sit by the fire pit instead!

This airbnb was just what we were looking for! It was quiet, cozy, private and had a woodstove with plenty of wood provided. Although we didn't get to meet our host he was quick to take our last minute booking, gave clear directions, had the place warmed up for us upon check in and we had everything we needed! The location was gorgeous and the surrounding area was beautiful to drive and explore, necessities were not that far away if we had to grab something. We would definitely return for another stay!

The idea was to chill out and recharge by the lake - and that's what happened. We had a terrific time and the staff were so responsive and helpful. Hot tub was excellent and looking out on a stunning view. Great little touches like a welcome gift for Archie the dog too which always helps!

The Islander Lodge was everything we could have wanted for our stay. The location is very rural (42 kms outside Antigonish in mostly cottage country), the "cottage" is really a log house ( a beauty), modern, immaculate and pristine. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck under the stars and listening to the hoots of owls nearby. We didn't use the kayaks but they are provided along with life jackets. The beautiful lodge is exactly as described,inside and out. It's magazine gorgeous and had everything we needed. We had loads of privacy and were reassured the host would be around if needed. My only two suggestions would be to bring your own drinking water as this area has very hard water. And don't forget your security code instructions (ha) so you dont inadvertently get locked out. ( my wife has a good memory thankfully ha). We HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend these exceptional accommodations in West Lochaber.

Was beyond lovely! Exactly as photos with all amenities described. Hot tub and fire pit more private than was let on. Beautiful, modern and immaculately clean. Loons sounding all evening was the cherry on top.

Excellent and very kind hosts. The cottage was beautiful, cozy and clean. Our stay was very enjoyable we are looking forward to coming back again!

Very Beautiful & Clean Cottage! We enjoyed ourselves a lot. My 5 year old was very say to leave.
