Haus Iris is an independent small terraced house on two floors with its own entrance. Downstairs are the bathroom, the kitchen-living room and the living room with access to the covered terrace. Spend your holiday in a 180-year-old mill, surrounded by meadows, fields and forests. Visit this mystical place and decelerate. They wake up in the morning and drink a coffee at the Mühlenbach or on cool days in front of the fire-extinguishing fireplace. The mill with its ponds and the surrounding nature invites you to pause. Hiking and cycling trails start directly at the entrance to the mill. Being in the countryside faster is hardly possible!

Next to the house is the bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, purely minimalist!

The guest apartment is located on the ground floor of a listed half-timbered house, the former Obermühle in Kaufungen. The house is quietly located in the old town center on the river "Losse" , directly on the hiking trails of the Kaufung Forest and below the collegiate church. It is a 5-minute walk to the shops and practices of the town center, and it takes about 10 minutes to get to the tram.
