Beautiful house, well maintained. Everything worked and kitchen well kitted out. The caretaker of the house was very attentive and could be paid to take you out on a boat ride around the lake or pop to the shops in his tuk tuk. You can organise to have a meal cooked for you this is a nice experience. We had a peaceful two nights in the lake house.

The place was absolutely gorgeous—truly nothing negative to say. It struck the perfect balance between luxury and the warmth of home. The host, Jen, was proactive and incredibly responsive from the start, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. The staff were exceptional, especially the villa manager, Ushan, who had an uncanny sense of when to be present and when to give us space. Even when not physically around, he ensured every request was met. The cook prepared amazing meals daily, and the entire property was spotless, with every amenity thoughtfully provided. We genuinely regretted only staying for four days—it simply wasn’t enough time in such a beautiful setting. We’re already planning to return. Bonus: it was unexpectedly fun spotting dragonflies around the property—just one of many charming touches.

Our stay with Duminda was absolutely perfect. We were the first guests in the second new cabana, which was completely brand new and spotlessly clean. Duminda was a welcoming host who assisted us with all our questions and suggested great activities in the area. The breakfast was also excellent. We highly recommend staying here!

The villa itself is great, 4 spacious bedrooms, more well-maintained grounds, a pool that is taken care of every morning. The house was cleaned every other day, with a change of towels. The kitchen has everything you need, dishes, a fire pans, upon arrival there was egg milk salt oil. Washing machine is also available. Among the disadvantages: we were from the middle to the end of April 2025, the non-season began there were very strong waves and our beach did not meet our expectations at all, immediately after the steps there was no sand, as we saw in the photo, but the huge blocks of rocks under which the ocean is raging, that is, to go down these stones in the right vilas 6. We were with 3 kids and it was very problematic for us. After talking to the staff, they explained to us that at this time it is always so, there is a low tide and the sand goes away, then returns. We spent Christmas at Wally and Sampa's villa. It was beautiful, quietly located, with everything you need and corresponded to the descriptions in the listing. We had a wonderful time in this lovingly furnished house and the staff Kapila and his wife fulfilled every wish for us and cooked a delicious Christmas dinner. Communication was smooth and one of the best places to stay for us in Sri Lanka. We would come back.

Terrene Villa was everything and more. Jalal responded quickly to any queries before arrival and during the booking process. We stayed for two weeks as a family of 4, plus daughter's boyfriend. The villa is stunning and just as described. Sri Lanka is the gift that keeps on giving and Terrene Villa is the perfect place to enjoy it all. Suda and Judi (apologies if I have spelt their names wrong) were a delight and looked after us very well. Their breakfasts were enjoyable and the fresh juices were delicious. The gardens were kept beautifully and what a joy to see monkeys in the trees and on the roof! Viraj sorted all our travel and day trips out and was always quick to reply and make suggestions. We were so sad to leave the villa, it really is an oasis of calm.

It was a very wonderful stay, the overall feeling is very nice to see the sea👍🏻 in the bed, I also saw a super beautiful sunset on the first day, with the sound of the waves every night with this natural white noise the🛌 host also prepared the fruit, very delicious😋 It's a bit of a distance from the central scenic spot,🛺 5 minutes by tuk-tuk to the town, but that's great because a lot of attraction salesmen can be avoided All in all it was great and my friend and I really wanted to keep staying
