Holiday home rentals in Gulf of Naples

As soon as we booked Giulia’s property she was warm, welcoming and immensely helpful. She answered all of my many questions and provided very useful tips and recommendations weeks and days prior to our arrival. Once we arrived she greeted us at the meeting point and helped carry our bags to the property. She made us feel right at home and my only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!

Location was right off the Main Street that has all the shops, restaurants and the town square. The place was clean, bright, modern and has a large outdoor patio that is wonderful. Nice little restaurant across the street also a fresh produce market next to restaurant. I would come back and stay again.

The hosts were very helpful and the communication was super good. They made us feel like home from the first moment. They felt more like relatives than just Airbnb hosts. The apartment was extremely clean. The cleanest I have experienced so far. The bed is very good and all the equipment in the apartment is of very good condition and quality. The negative with the apartment is the high humidity but I guess that won't be a problem when air conditioning will be on during warm days. The place is walking distance from either metro lines 1 or 2 and in principle you can walk any distance in central Napoli, from the historic center down to the sea. It's just at the beginning of the hill so no worries about uphill walk. The neighborhood is very vivid and the noise is rather high in early morning hours but I guess that's what you have to pay for living so central. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and we would definitely recommend it to anyone else.

Loreta is a gem of a human. She went out of her way to pick us up and made sure we had a reliable taxi number for when she was unavailable. Her taxi driver, Alfonso, was very responsive which was great since Uber did not work well in the area. A ride to the Pompeii Scavi train station was 25 euro and the Pompei (trenitalia) station was 20 euro. Loreta gave us excellent suggestions for what to do and where to eat, definitely take her advice if she gives you a recommendation. The apartment itself is charming and has an amazing view of Vesuvius. We enjoyed starting and ending our days on the balcony. We also had fun watching the family of outdoor cats select their napping spots on nearby balconies and rooftops. The area is definitely pet friendly with many local dogs nearby. The Friday market mentioned in the listing is HUGE! They start setting up early in the morning and it covers several streets around the apartment. Overall, I would stay here again just to see Loreta.

Carmine & Valentina were amazing to us. They were so helpful with everything. They provided amazing recommendations in all the surrounding areas. Additionally they helped us book a boat tour to Capri, private riders to get around, and mopeds to travel the Amalfi coast. We got to make our own homemade pizzas at their house in the brick oven and it was such a great experience. Probably the coolest food experience we have ever had. The Airbnb house’s rooftop view was incredible. All in all, they were the best Airbnb host and experience that my friends and I have ever had. I definitely recommend their spot!

Antonella’s Chez Amelie (named after her daughter) will be one of our most treasured family memories. Climbing up the many rocky steps to the home wasn’t easy (to be fully transparent) in particular with luggage. But the home, scenery and ambience of the location was marvelous! Antonella is a great hostess, almost immediately responsive and sweet as can be. We got used to walking to town and back each night for dinner, and while challenging for my family, it’s easier without luggage! We also ate at La Preferita, a family restaurant down the street. This was a lovely and tasty experience. Everyone was so sweet and welcoming. I’d definitely return to Chez Amelie (with much less luggage)! Thank you, Antonella!

Great two-level apartment with a beautiful view over Capri, the mountains and the sea. Raffaella is a great host, kind and easy to communicate. We spent three great days in Naples. The apartment is very centrally located, a few minutes' walk to Piazza Dante. You are right in the middle of Neapolitan life! The apartment is relatively small, but equipped with everything you need, our son was totally thrilled with the bunk bed. The terraces above the rooftops of Naples are fantastic, you have a great view of Vesuvius and the whole city. We recommend it 100%!

We really enjoyed our stay here, it was very clean, quiet and comfortable and we would not hesitate to book again. Gianpiero was always contactable and quick to respond to any queries. Agnese was a great host, her home in the hills above Sorrento was fantastic, with beautiful views , the swimming pool was great for cooling off, the home itself has everything you need. Her friend Anna is always available to pick you up or drop you in Sorrento town which makes life much easier, there is a path to walk down but it is quite steep, Anna is invaluable for this reason. Agnese is always available to answer any questions. Overall a fabulous stay, would not hesitate to return. Thank you Agnese and Anna!!

Antonella was an incredible host! She was quick to communicate, warm and friendly and always willing to help out. She even dropped us off at our dinner reservation 😊 The house itself is good with an incredible view. Bed was comfy and everything was well equipped. You will need to do lots of walking to get around and there are loads of stairs. Great stay altogether!

Wow is all we can say!! This Praiano Airbnb was a hidden gem outside the hustle and bustle of Positano. We loved every second of our stay and were sad to move onto our destination because we fell in love with the little city of Praiano. Truly no complaints about the space and location. Lots of stairs, but worth it for the pristine views from the bedroom and the terrace. Must go to Mirante Cafe, La Strada, and Il Pirata! Three of our favorite places. We also went to the beach one day and rented chairs for a reasonable price. The mobility bus within Praiano was easy to use once we realized it was more of a van than a bus. It was two euros to ride and saved us so many stairs. We can’t wait to come back and spend our whole vacation in Praiano for our next trip! Host was incredibly responsive and flexible on check-in times. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars for sure!!

Perfect home in a perfect location! Walkable to all great restaurants and shops and shoreline. Host was so friendly and flexible with our check-in time. Beautifully decorated, well-appointed home and we can’t wait to come back to Sorrento. We would absolutely stay in this home again for sure! Had an amazing time!

Wonderful modern apartment in a great location in Naples. Giuliana was easy to communicate with and self check-in process was very clear.

We only stayed for one night, but it fit our needs perfectly. We were able to check-in early and relax before exploring Sorrento. Beautiful and airy space with a lovely rooftop. AC worked great! Michele helped to arrange the beds perfectly for our party of 8 and had a lovely welcome basket for us on arrival with a bottle of wine, pasta, sauce, and milk. Parking directions were easy to follow and it’s right around the corner from the AirBnB. It’s about a 10-minute drive down to Sorrento, which was easy to navigate. Overall, great stay and would recommend for families.

Beautiful apartment! The hosts comms were great. Incredible location. Very well equipped. You do need to be fit to climb all those steps, but it is well worth it, and a lift is coming soon i understand :-)

I stayed in Carmelas beautiful home for a week with my family during our stay in Napoli. It is very clean and tidy and it has lots of amenities, 5 beds, 2 bathrooms and also a lovely balcony! Very walkable to the main attraction and 2 minutes from the metro! Many restaurants cafes and bars in the area that are close by, I’d definitely recommend staying in this pristine apartment.

Casa Lou was the perfect getaway for our family holiday. Daniele the host and Bea the local contact were incredible to deal with. Above and Beyond helpful and responsive and offered great local insights to the area, restaurants and activities. Even though Positano is a place built up the mountain and has many steps, the walk to shops, restaurants and the waterfront is very manageable and a lift nearby is very helpful too. Would highly recommend staying at Casa Lou And the view outside your window is a total knockout, especially at dusk. Just Wow!!! 💗
