Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Gulf County

Jamie’s house was perfect for our vacation. We loved being able to walk to the beach and having a raw oyster bar right down the street. We appreciated that Jamie’s house was dog friendly and had a fenced in backyard. We enjoyed a nice relaxing time and getting away from northern snow country for awhile.

This house was definitely one of the better Airbnb’s we’ve stayed in. We appreciated the detailed descriptions of the layout, we knew exactly what to expect. This home also includes personal tower fans for each room which was a HUGE plus! There was more than enough of expendable items such as: trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent etc. Also, they provide top of the line beach equipment like balloon tire beach wagons and nice chairs. Water pressure and drainage in the showers was really good, especially for a Florida rental! It doesn’t really get much better than this for an Airbnb. 10/10 recommend.

The home is beautiful and host have attention to details from cooking utensils, cleaning supplies, towels, beach chairs, wagon, and they even purchased a pack-n-play for our 1 year old to use. This was a perfect place for our family to relax and enjoy the beach. The hosts were quick to respond when we had a question. It will definitely be a top choice for us in the future!

I can’t begin to describe what an amazing beach house this was. It went above and beyond my expectations. I felt right at home as if it was my own. The distance to the beach was perfect. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. I was able to take my dog for a few mile long walks around the neighborhood. The sunsets are beautiful as well as the early morning breeze that blows through the screened in porch. The swing on the porch was big enough to sleep on. And if you are lucky you might even get to hear, see and feel the jets fly over heading towards or away from the near by Air Force base. But don’t worry you would hardly know the base was there unless you knew ahead of time. There are many restaurants and a cute little downtown. There is a lighthouse in town and even a Sea Turtle Center. I would definitely recommend Lourdes’ Pink Door Vacay and cannot wait to go there again soon.

This was our first trip to the Port St. Joe area . We loved how beautiful the beach was and the neighborhood was so cute! The house was exactly like the pictures and the attention to detail was outstanding! We enjoyed all the amenities: the golf cart, the bikes and all the games were enjoyed by everyone! We liked the slower pace of the area and even though we went on a holiday weekend, we felt like the beach was still very relaxed. The house had everything we needed for cooking and for the beach , it was so nice to not have to pack all of those things! And the beds were super comfortable, especially the master bedroom! It was luxurious! Kate was so helpful and responded immediately when I had a few questions. We loved the Sunrise cafe for smoothies and ice cream and we also drove to nearby Mexico beach to shop and to Reid street to shop and eat several times. The PSJ grill was our favorite. We will definitely be returning!

Stephany went above and beyond in every way possible. From the moment we arrived, it was clear she genuinely cared about our experience. The home was spotless, beautifully prepared, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our beach getaway extra special. She was incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. Very comfortable stay for us and our dogs. Fenced yard was so appreciated. Andy was very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.

Really nice place. Very responsive. The pool and bay are walkable. I did it a few times. I love to walk. It’s a 7 minute walk. My grandson rode one of the bikes. Very family friendly. Was my first time to Florida and it was very pleasant experience. Highly recommend

My husband and I had a great time celebrating our 65th birthdays at Cape San Blas. Our stay was very comfortable with everything that we needed. We look forward to returning next year!

Excellent place to stay! We were surprised by how much more spacious the house was in person. The house was well equipped, organized and clean. Almost every single thing we could think of that would be beneficial to our stay was supplied at the house. The golf cart was a huge plus for our group. We could more easily get our stuff to the beach and made it convenient to explore the community. Thanks for making our stay enjoyable!

This place truly was perfect for a family vacation! Michelle is a wonderful host and her home is beautiful, clean and comfortable inside and out. If you’re looking for a private but close to everything place, this is it. Michelle was quick to respond and she took time to check in to make sure we had everything we needed. If you and your family are looking for an extraordinary beach trip on a beautiful beach without the crowds, this is the place for you. The home is immaculate, and it is nestled in a fun neighborhood with a few restaraunt, ice cream shops, and some shopping. From the house, the beach is only a 5 minute walk at most. Our group ranged from 12-77, and no one had issues navigating the walk. The owners also provided bikes. The kids loved that addition. The beach was very pretty and easy to navigate. While in the water we saw wonderful sea creatures. We saw rays, sand dollars, Star fish, manatees and dolphins. It has been our favorite beach and home to visit.

Jamie’s home in Windmark is immaculate! We loved the cleanliness and comfort of the beds. Chairs, toys, wagons and beach towels are provided which is so helpful when traveling long distances, less to pack! The in-law suite is huge, almost like a one bedroom apartment! Our grandparents were grateful for their own space to retreat. Theres no fridge in the suite but that wasn’t a big deal for us. Jamie is quick to respond and incredibly helpful. We would stay with her again! The golf cart was so fun, easy drive to the beautiful pools and the shops and restaurants. The only tip we have is that we learned gulf county beaches don’t get the seaweed cleaned up daily like Mexico beach does. So we didn’t use the beach in Windmark as it was small and covered in seaweed - it’s also where the bay begins so the water is less clear- But we drove to the clean white sand in Mexico beach, less than a 10 minute drive, and loved it! You won’t regret staying here!

We enjoyed our family vacay and Charles was very responsive any time I contacted him prior to or during our stay with questions. The house is as described, very nice and clean. Our favorite part was being able to drive the golf cart around the neighborhood and to the pool although it is a very close walk to the pool. I’m not sure who enjoyed the golf cart more, the grandkids or the Dads. :) The beach was not crowded at all which was great. No complaints whatsoever. Highly recommend this house. You will love it! It feels like home away from home. Thank you for great family memories that were made during our stay!

Our family enjoyed the Avocado House. We had ample space.. the extra kitchen and apartment-like separate bedroom was ideal for two families (private but still very much a part of the whole house experience). The kids hung out in the garage playing ping pong & table football most of the time we weren’t out at the beach. We took them on nightly golf cart rides, occasionally making stops to catch the sunset & collect shells at Windmark beach. It seemed like there might have been more cameras surveilling the house than we thought from the listing - this didn’t both me but it might be something to consider for guests who want more privacy in that regard. Kam & the management team were very nice & helpful, even recommending local family friendly events to attend in the area. All in all, it was a great trip! The house was really nice inside. Quiet beach, good local food - Bruno’s for Pizza, Pepper’s for Mexican, Hunt’s on St. Joe Bay for Seafood. We would def stay again!

You are surrounded by nature 360* Jill and Paul are phenomenal hosts who go above and beyond to ensure you have a wonderful stay. From the clean home, to the amazing mattress, for a restful night sleep, the rain shower heads to wash the day away, and the thoughtful wine and chocolates, you will not be disappointed. You can always tell when someone cares about their home, and ensuring guests are welcome and cozy. I am very thankful for the opportunity to explore Cafe San Blas, and all the lovely recommendations that Jill and Paul offered. I would love to come back as this is an amazing experience. Very comfortable home in a great location on the north Cape. Wonderful screened in porch for hanging out before and after the beach. Easy home access, easy beach access, well appointed, and comfortable for people and pets. 30+ years visiting the Cape. This home has no negatives-Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

We had a great time at the Sand Spur! Katy was so nice and very responsive to answer any question that I had! The house is in the perfect spot to check out the downtown area of Port St. Joe. We especially loved all of the shops on Reid Avenue (a short walk down the street.) We found ourselves getting delicious iced coffee at Sweet Bunz every day of our stay but were given some other recommendations for coffee very close by. The public beaches along the bay are just a short drive away! Our dogs especially loved this house. The fenced in yard was perfect to let them roam around and explore! We would love to visit again!

We loved our stay! The home was beautiful located in the midst of pristine surroundings. The stars and moon at night were indescribably beautiful- as well as the sunsets. Staying at this property you can uniquely witness the sunrise over the Bay and sunset over the Gulf! Crazy beautiful and private. The backyard is delightful as well as the porch. We loved our visit at John’s beautiful home!

This is a beautiful house to stay in! It’s slightly more closer to other houses than we’re used to, but our neighbors were pleasant! The kitchen was spacious and we made so many good meals in it! There is plenty of space in the house to spread out if you start to get annoyed with your family! The shoreline is steps from the house, and there is only about a ten foot difference between high tide and low tide with a huge sandbar right in front of that stretch of the beach. The drive to groceries or restaurants isn’t far, especially compared to St. George Island. Choose this place for your next stay!
