Entirely made of wood, this "tchanquée" hut (on stilts) overlooks the coastal path and offers panoramic views of the bay. Its elevated layout earned it the name "la Hune" which designates an observation platform installed at the top of the mast of ships. The house has 3 terraces, a 500 m2 garden and a saltwater pool. Amazing place to stay, just as described. If you are looking for tranquility it is the place. The location allows you to get to know the area perfectly. We have fallen in love with this home. It's very cozy. The garden, if you go with children, is great, and it has a mini porch for breakfast and dinner, ideal. The light that enters is magnificent. You have the hosts as neighbors but you maintain privacy. Claire is charming, very kind and attentive. We look forward to returning.

The villa in Arcachon was nestled in the back part of a quiet tree-lined residential street. The front yard was private but always full of sun. Good for exercise/yoga/hanging out. The house was extremely well provisioned, and we found every amenity we desired. We were there for a working holiday. The Internet was very fast, and the host kindly provided a screen for us to work on.
