Marion’s place is a little slice of heaven! Such an amazing view over the fjord, this rustic yet cosy, comfortable home has with everything we needed… (including fluffy towels- a very welcome change!) We enjoyed some down time from our busy holiday schedule, and loved soaking up the location - from coffee by the lounge windows,; a read on the patio, cozying up with blankets. Marion has truly thought of enerything. The laundry in the bathroom is probably the most functional one we’ve had on out travels. A quick 10 min drive to town too to cafes and supermarket, and of course the gondola for amazing fjord views Lastly , Marion was a lovely responsive host, very helpful with local recommendations. If we ever find ourselves in this part of the world - we will definitely stay again!

We had such a lovely stay at Bruvoll Feriehus - the home is very cosy with all the amenities for a relaxing, peaceful stay in this beautiful area of Norway. We found the home clean and comfortable. Annike was always friendly and quick to respond to our questions. Check in and out were both easy with clear instructions.

A really peaceful and beautiful retreat. I visited here for a restful weekend and it did not disappoint. Really quiet and private, I really enjoyed the hot tub which had lovely views of trees and the sunset in the evening. The decor was beautiful, just like the photos. Easy to check in and out. You really will need a car as it is remote which is perfect for peace and quiet. Thank you.

We loved the opportunity to stay in an authentic Norwegian cabin that was at least 250 years old. From outside it looks like a modest cabin but opens to a spacious and warm living room and dining area. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and there is a good shower. The two upstairs bedrooms, one opens to the kitchen, had great views of the mountains and very comfortable beds. Great venue to visit Flam, Borgund and Urnes Stave churches or to hike. The farmers market at Laerdal was excellent.

wir hatten wunderbare Tage im Haus von Toril! Das über 200 Jahre alte Haus wurde sehr liebevoll renoviert und viele antike Utensilien und Bücher befinden sich noch darin. Toril hat uns viele gute Tipps zum Wandern gegeben. Am ersten Tag sind wir auf das Grindafjell gestiegen, herrliche Ausblicke, leider war das Wetter nicht so gut.

Thor Ann was so kind- we felt like we were being welcomed into a friend's home. He gave us a thorough tour of the house and answered all of our questions. Prior to coming he also answered questions about the logistics of our stay (where to find an EV charger, where to get lunch before our ferry tour). The house itself was so cozy- we truly felt at home. We were able to do laundry and dry it on the back deck. We LOVED the view from the second bedroom and the living area. We would definitely stay again!

Martes lägenhet var fantastisk på alla sätt och vis. Bäst var utan tvekan den bedårande utsikten, men andra plus var storleken och planeringen av boendet. Sammantaget är vi supernöjda och kan varmt rekommendera lägenheten. På vägen dit fick vi glädjen att bekanta oss med fåren och lammen längs vägen och på vägen därifrån fick vi se en älg.

Leiligheten til Knut og Mina var ren, koselig og ryddig, og samsvarte med bildene. Den passet perfekt for to personer. Det var gode instruksjoner for hvordan man skulle finne fram, og oppholdet forøvrig.

Wir haben uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Das Haus liegt wunderschön oberhalb von Favang mit einem tollen Blick. Wir wurden nett begrüßt und hatten alles was wir brauchten. Die Kommunikation mit Julia war bestens. Wir hatten ausreichend Holz für den Ofen, um es uns gemütlich zu machen. Wir konnten noch eine schöne Woche mit Skifahren verbringen. Für Langlauf ist Hafjell besser geeignet und auch nur 30 Minuten entfernt. Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder.

Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben. Sehr liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet und der Ausblick ist sehr schön. Wenn man mit dem Auto anreist ist die Unterkunft gut. Die Kommunikation vor und während des Aufenthalts war ebenfalls freundlich und schnell. Nur zu empfehlen !

Fresh leilighet med veldig sentral beliggenhet og alt man trenger. Veldig tydelige og gode instruksjoner for å finne frem og ta i bruk leiligheten. Anbefales varmt!

Hyggelig opphold, alt var som forventet. Rent og ryddig, og verten var lett å kommunisere med. Kan anbefales😊

We had a lovely stay at Jo's apartment. It is a nice space that is bigger than it looks in the photos. Serene countryside location which is walking distance to hiking trails and a very short drive to town. We stayed two nights but wish we had stayed for longer! Thank you!

Vi er veldig fornøyd med oppholdet vårt i leiligheten og kommer gjerne tilbake en annen gang.

Appartamento compatto ma confortevole e molto carino, in una bella posizione un po’ appartata e tranquilla. Pulito, ordinato, accogliente. La comunicazione con l’host è stata semplice e sempre amichevole! Sicuramente un posto in cui torneremmo volentieri! :)

Cousy place best suited for two I think. Four would be a quite tight fit. Well equipped apartment and comfortable bed. Shared facilities are good. Nice and friendly host. Easy access and 5min drive to Hemsedal. Close to hiking trails. Only downside if your easily disturbed is that the road is just outside and traffic is quite continuous also early and late. Kiwi grocery store open 7-23 (9-21) on the other side of the road.

Kjempekoselig plass-og flott hytte! Veldig gjestfri og behjelpelig vertinne. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake🙂

We hebben het ontzettend naar onze zin gehad. Ontzettend vriendelijke ontvangst, heel mooi appartement, ruim, mooi uitzicht. wandelroutes beginnen om de hoek. Lekker rustige omgeving dus goed geslapen. Gemakkelijk te lopen naar de supermarkt en de bakker. Van harte aanbevolen!

Vi hadde en hektisk helg med konfirmasjon og fjellturer, og var lite i leiligheten. Men, når vi var der trengte vi et sted vi virkelig kunne slappe av, og det kunne vi her. Deilig med høye vinduer, luftige rom og ryddig og ren leilighet. Tusen takk til flott vertskap som ga oss gode instruksjoner så vi nesten slapp å tenke selv :)

Very nice accommodation. It was exactly as described and perfect for the size of our family (2 adults and 2 teenagers). It is on the first (and last) floor of a small building with 4 flats. The (large) living room is joined with the kitchen and gives towards the covered terrace which offers a direct view on the ski slopes . Kitchen is well equipped, with all what you need to cook, and even a waffle machine. There is also an entrance sas with a storage room that is very useful for the skis. We really appreciated the sauna after our ski outings. The cross-country tracks go just by the other side of the road, so we could start our tours from home directly at skis. Access to the lake by foot is easy and fast, which enabled us to see the northern lights! In total, we had a very pleasant stay at Lemonsjøen and we could discover a bit of Norway in winter and explore the northern Jotunheimen with our skis. We warmly recommend this accommodation!

Very nice place with all amenities you might need for a long stay (although ours was unfortunately rather short). Cleanliness is the main winning point for us.
