Beautiful cottage style house with garden and with amazing views in the quiet town of Skrad. 100 meters away there are a few cute cafes that are always open to serve you a coffee or beer. Skrad also has two small supermarkets with all essentials. Unfortunately it misses a bakery, which are usually amazing in Croatia. One thing to keep in mind if you're coming with a dog is that the back garden is not fenced off so you'll need to keep an eye on your dog not to leave the garden, but other than that our dog loved playing in the garden with his ball and laying in the sun on the grass.

A great house with stunning architecture and furnishings. The surrounding nature is peaceful and beautiful. We had a surreal experience in the outdoor jacuzzi, surrounded by forest. On arrival, we were welcomed with a bottle of red wine and treats for the kids. They loved the play area, which had books, board games, and a PS5. The fireplace added a cozy touch to the evening atmosphere. The host was very responsive and helpful. That said, there are a few downsides. The property isn’t fenced, and the main road is quite close, something not shown clearly in the photos. With several kids, we had to stay alert. There’s also a steep cliff next to the jacuzzi. The rope fence there is purely decorative and doesn’t offer real safety for small children. In summary, the listing photos don’t make it clear that the house isn’t fully secluded. The shots are taken with the road always behind the photographer. These comments might be nitpicking, but considering the price I think it’s justified.

Katrina’s place was very good. It had all the facilities we expected. Everything was spotlessly clean. The house is full of character. Katrina is an amazing host who really looks after her guests. We would recommend staying there.

If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place this is the right property for you. Beautiful location and surroundings. Vasja was a great host, very responsive, kind, helpful and knowledgeable and the house is very well equipped. Thanks again for your hospitality.

We had an absolutely perfect stay! The house was modern, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged to make guests feel comfortable and at home. A welcome basket was waiting for as at the table, such a nice feature! The host was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout the stay. Easy communication and they let us stay longer, beyond the check out time which was very generous. The location was also a huge plus, with many great sightseeing spots just a short distance away - NP Risnjak, Lokvarsko lake, even the seaside. Whether you're looking to explore the area or simply relax in a stylish and peaceful space, this place is a top choice. Highly recommended!

Quiet house in beautiful surroundings. Amazing views from the bedroom and the hot tub! Mirna and Andrija were super friendly and helpful, they even had a lovely selection of local specialities and homemade bread prepared for us when we arrived! We will definitely come back if you'll have us again. Thank you so much!

het is een heerlijk, schattig huisje met twee erg ruime, nette, schone slaapkamers. We hadden pech met de stroom, maar werden meteen geholpen. De televisie heeft chromecast. De Wifi is wat onbetrouwbaar, maar dichtbij het kastje meestal wel goed. De tuin is mooi verzorgd en heerlijk ruim en zonnig. Perfect voor kinderen om te spelen, of om zelf te luieren in een van de twee hangmatten. Het huisje ligt in een heel klein dorpje. Het dichtstbijzijnde kleine winkeltje is ongeveer 5 minuten rijden en dagelijks open tot 15 uur. Je kunt er lekker vers brood kopen en allerlei noodzakelijke spulletjes.. En dan de omgeving... echt schitterend! Wij hebben heerlijk gesupt op de rivier en een beetje gezwommen, maar het water was koud door de laatste storm. Fantastische omgeving om te hiken/wandelen, zowel in Slovenië als in Kroatië. Wij zijn nog een dag naar Krk geweest, wat een ruim uur rijden is. We hebben met ons vieren genoten van de rust en de mooie natuur in Slovenië!
