Yolanda and her sisters were great hosts and responded quickly, especially when I locked myself out by accident. Great location and very central to Heredia and all the amenities. I was there for the week to attend the school at Intercultura, and it was perfect for what we needed. I would definitely stay here again next time. Great for families with children.

The host was great, very nice and flexible, The place is very cute, big, and in a really nice area where so many bars and restaurants and the city center are all walkable!

I cannot say enough good things about Gustavo's home and how much good helpful information he gave me. He even compiled a book about the area and what to do. We stayed at this cottage for the weekend with my family and the experience was just spectacular. The place is too nice, surrounded by nature and with one of the best views of the Central Valley we have seen. The cabin is very well equipped, all spotless and thoughtful down to the last detail. It breathes tranquility and feels a real connection to the environment. It is located very close to the Barva Volcano, which makes it ideal for those who enjoy the mountain and the fresh air. Definitely a place we want to go back to. 100% recommended!

If you are expecting a 5 star hotel do not go here. If you are expecting an experience, amazing food, no AC, cold showers, no iron or hair dryer and an amazing rural farm experience that you will never forget then this is the place to go. Extremely good, honest, hard working people. They feed you almost everything they grow or raise and give you the same food they eat or feed their kids. Mary Luz is an amazing person and a great cook. Plenty of other options available in the area to get a farm experience but if you also want a foodie experience then this place is it. As everyone has said rough roads but we had a good suv and got there in 20 minutes after we turned off highway 32. For some people it may take 45 minutes. Expect to get woken up with birds and roosters making a racket around 5:30 am.

A wonderful place with a lot of peace

Great affordable place for full country Costa Rican experience. The house is located at the far end of the street on the left. The house was repainted blue (not orange anymore). We really enjoy our stay, we did a charcoal BBQ, walk in the small path and enjoyed the pool. Enersto received us and made a walk through around the property. We had the necessary things to cook, however, bring your cooking oil, spices and dish cloth. Each room has his own bathroom. We didnt had warm water but, it's was fines given the hot weather. Highly recommand this place and the owner!

Mauricio's apartment is extremely comfortable, spacious, bright and cool. My family and I had a very pleasant time. Mauricio's care and support made everything easier. We'd love to stay again.

Just a short walk to the downtown area. Very quiet area. Staff at La Sabana were very helpful, polite and made you feel at home. On site breakfast was good.
