We had a fantastic stay at this lovely apartment in Grindelwald as a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids). The apartment was compact but perfectly formed – everything was clean, well-presented, and thoughtfully arranged to make the most of the space. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish – friendly, responsive, and helpful, which made check-in and planning our trip incredibly smooth. The location was ideal – a perfect base for exploring the beautiful surrounding area, whether hiking, sightseeing, or just soaking in the alpine charm of Grindelwald. But the real highlight? The view. The apartment offers the most breathtaking, unobstructed view of the Eiger – waking up to that every morning was truly unforgettable. Highly recommended – we’d love to return!

A return visit and just as good as ever. Beautiful location, very peaceful but close to town and very convenient for all activities. Eugen was friendly and very quickly responded to all correspondence. The flat has all the necessary amenities for a wonderful stay and a very comfy bed!

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was clean, cozy, and in a great location—perfect for exploring the area. 10 minutes walk to town centre, supermarkets and First cable car. 10 minutes drive to Eiger gondola. Communication was smooth, and check-in was hassle-free. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and we really appreciated the comfort after long days out. One suggestion: having a washer and dryer would be especially helpful, especially during wet weather. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

Beautiful location and glad to discover Lauterbrunnen. Enjoyed walking to town and biking around the area. Quiet place, liked the streaming services and kitchen design. Great place to downshift.

This place is centrally located in the heart of Lauterbrunnen but still remains quiet and tranquil just out of the way of the Main Street / restaurants and can sleep easily. Easy to go and see all the sights either by walking or bus. The train station is just a 7 minute walk as well and opens up further areas around to explore. The flat is perfect as a base and the kitchen enables you to self cater more cheaply as the restaurant food prices are quite expensive. There’s a local coop supermarket that has lots of food to cook. Shower is also really nice, powerful and hot. Manuela is also really nice and very helpful and insightful giving tips of where to go and what to see. We also arrived early and was allowed to check in with no problems as the property was ready which was a lovely bonus :) Definitely recommend and if we come again we will deffo stay here! PS the flat/TV has “Blue” which meant I could watch Arsenal vs PSG which was nice extra as well! Thank you Joe and Stef

My daughter and I had a memorable stay at Myriam’s beautiful house. The highlight for me was being so close to the mountains, being able to enjoy the scenery in the backyard while enjoying our meal. House is well-equipped with nice little touches and the house is spacious. Myriam is also an extremely kind and gracious host who offered to pick us up and send us to the train station upon check out despite her busy schedule. It has been inspiring knowing her better during our conversations and this made our trip more meaningful and memorable. I do wish I have the chance to come back in future as Grindewald is simply idyllic and charming & staying in her house made our stay perfect.

This place was the highlight of our trip! We couldn't stop watching the mountains from our room. It is a beautiful cosy studio at a great location. It is not in the town center but that's what made this place special in our experience. It was a quiet and peaceful stay. It is in front of the bus stop and the bus is free with the Guest Card Heidi provided. We also loved walking to the apartment, it is a 20 mins walk and the view down is amazing. You can also walk to Pfingstegg and the Glacier Canyon. The place was very clean and it had everything we needed. Heidi was responsive from the beginning and communicated well. I would highly recommend!

Honestly, one of the best airbnbs we have ever stayed in. Perfect location and the place have everything we needed. Very baby friendly and would 10/10 recommend to anyone.

Chalet Sherpa is simply wonderful. A great place for winter and summer activities, walkable to most areas (especially the pool!) We loved the extremely well equipped kitchen so we could self-cater. It felt like a real home not a sanitised holiday let. We fell very honoured to have shared it last week! (O and the shower was amazing…. Very important after busy days!!) The bedrooms perfect… I can’t speak highly enough of the chalet Veilen dank Ursula

I had a fantastic stay at Ursula’s place! The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed—including fast Wi-Fi and a well-equipped kitchen. The bed was super comfortable, and I really appreciated the thick solid curtains. The location was perfect—just a short walk to cafes, shops, and public transport. The view from her house was Breathtaking!! Ursula was incredibly responsive and the check-in process was seamless. I definitely stay here again!

I had a fantastic stay at Beatrice’s place. Everything was super clean and I had everything I needed. Beatrice was also very friendly and the views were amazing! I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Grindelwald.

INCREDIBLE!! The photos don’t do justice to just how truly incredible this place is. I would recommend 10/10 times and would come back in a second. Marlise, her husband Chrigel and son Mike were all incredibly kind and welcoming, helping us get a more local experience. The apartment itself has everything you need, and is located just a 10-15 minute walk from the train/boat station, restaurants and grocery stores. The hot tub/ sauna and outdoor shower, mixed with the view make this place a relaxing paradise.

This may have been the coolest place I have ever stayed! You should absolutely book this place if you have the opportunity. The hot tub alone has a perfect view of Staubbachfall while you are in it, and a really cool light setup - the waterfall is also lit up at night! This place was truly magical! Inside was amazingly cozy, and had all you could need for a stay like this. The deck had a perfect view of the valley with an amazing place to wake up every morning and drink coffee. The hosts were absolutely wonderful! I ran into some issues with Airbnb (no fault of theirs) and they went out of their way to help us and solve the issue! Truly some of the best hosts I’ve ever experienced! Very responsive through messaging, and were wonderful showing us the place. I would definitely book here again and hope to.

Once we arrived Bart greatest is. He was extremely friendly and answered any questions we had. His place was clean and it was definitely what was pictured. The location was peaceful and the ability to sit in the Hot tub in the evening time and gaze out at the mountains and listen to the cowbells. I would highly recommend this place.
