Holiday rentals with beach access in Gros, Donostia

We stayed for 4 nights in this beautiful apartment. It was lovely to return after a busy day of sightseeing and sit and watch the river rise and fall with the tides. A great neighbourhood to wander around away from the old town but close enough to walk in for some pinxos and wine. We ate at Bodega Donastria a few times which was just around the corner. Fabulous food and service. The perfect place to stay in SS, so much better than a hotel.

Spacious, comfortable apartment in the Gros neighborhood of San Sebastián. The location is great, surrounded by restaurants, cafes, markets, etc. The apartment faces inside and it's very quiet. The roll-down shades make the apartment really dark which is great for sleeping. The apartment has an open setup so there's lots of room in the kitchen area. The apartment is located in the 1st floor which makes it easy to walk up but there's also an elevator. The place is located close to the beach (~10 minute walk) but there's no "direct access" per se as mentioned on the listing. The apartment has both a dish washer and a laundry washing machine which is very useful.

Olga and Jorge’s home was an absolute delight. Perfectly located in the heart of Donostia, it’s beautifully decorated with thoughtful attention to detail throughout. The apartment is exceptionally well-equipped and generously stocked with amenities—Olga and Jorge have truly thought of everything to make their guests feel at home. Their warmth and hospitality were unmatched, and they provided us with many helpful tips and local insights. The use of their parking space was an added bonus and made exploring the area even easier. San Sebastián itself is incredible, and this home made our stay all the more memorable. We didn’t want to leave and hope to return someday. With San Martin Square just outside the door—featuring a supermarket, cafés, and great shopping—and the beach only steps away, the location couldn’t be better. One of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever had.

We had an incredible time in San Sebastián and a lot of that had to do with our stay here. Such a great location with amazing restaurants and bars near by (you must try Desy Vegas). Paula’s flat was spacious, stylish and had beautiful natural light. 10 out of 10 would recommend to a friend!

Loli’s home is as very comfortable, clean and convenient to all walkable areas. Loli was very responsive and helpful with securing a taxi to Bilbao and other information. Love the view from her home as well. :)

This beautiful apartment is truly the best of Airbnb. Its stunning location and fabulous facilities make it a must if you’re considering a stay in San Sebastián. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and highly recommend. A brilliant host and helpful personal check-in (even late at night) made our stay. We loved our stay at Irati’s place! Irati was so welcoming, as was her mum who met us at the apartment to let us in early. The apartment was in a great location, super clean and very comfortable. Would happily stay there again and certainly would recommend to family and friends. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Clean, comfortable, well appointed and in a good location ... this apartment was a perfect base for the 4 of us for our four night break. We would return. The team at FeelFree Rentals were responsive and helpful to our queries.

Our weekend with friends went very well in Valerie's accommodation. It met our expectations. It is well equipped, we did not miss anything. The bedding suited us. The beach is accessible on foot (you can go through a stretch of forest, it is steep 10/15 min). The center of Bidart and its square are within walking distance (about 20 min) and we ate well there. Bakery, delicatessen, cheese shop nearby.

We had a great time at Xavier's house which is very nice, modern and design, very well equipped and very comfortable. The location is ideal for shining in the area and is close to the beach and shops. We recommend 100%

Small corner of paradise 20 minutes from Hossegor🌞🏝️🐚… A perfect accommodation for two people, decorated with great taste, incredible bedding, responsive hosts offering many amenities to satisfy your stay: darts, deckchairs, garden furniture, bicycles… all this at the edge of a great pool perfect for enjoying an aperitif! Book 🍹with your eyes closed! 😎

Extremely well located accommodation 2 steps from the beach, a few bars by the sea nearby. Center easily accessible by car. The accommodation is very clean, functional and quiet (despite the proximity of the campsite). Small downside with unsecured staircase (accommodation on the first floor) and 2 windows in the bedroom without shutters that required a little adaptation with a walking baby. Very good communication with Paul. We'll be happy to go back.

8 of us ( 3 generations) enjoyed Patricia's house & the exceptional, ever changing views. The house was spotless & very well equipped for lots of cooking. We were blessed with glorious weather which meant we were never forced to sit indoors as the comfy seating is a bit lacking for more than 6 people, although there is plenty outdoors. The sunshine enabled us to go out every day, walking, or with the numerous public transport options, so a car is not necessarily needed. Patricia was very helpful & informative, showing some of us around & offering tips, but a house manual with local information & recommendations would be a useful extra. Thank you Patricia.

We had a great time at Yolande's home. Quiet and close to all Ciboure Socoa or Saint Jean de Luz 10 minutes by car. Quiet, with a carefully decorated interior, a living room with incredible volume and exteriors for rest and serenity. The house largely matches the photos. Yolande is very responsive and has good tips. Clean and very well-equipped house. We'll be back soon. Go there without a second thought, you won't be disappointed.

My stay at Viviane and Daniel’s studio Airbnb was the best Airbnb experience I have ever had! The studio was adorable and very clean! Viviane and Daniel were both so kind and welcoming! They respected my privacy, but were readily available if I needed anything! I will definitely stay with them again WHEN I come back to Bidart!!! 🤟🏼❤️

Great little apartment ! Close to the train station. The elevator is definitely a plus. Spotlessly clean. I really enjoyed my time here and would stay here again !

We had a great stay here, it was in the perfect location and the apartment is lovely! The hosts also went above and beyond to help me when I lost a precious item as I am not familiar with the area!

Helen kept us well informed of where to park and arrival instructions. We arrived later than expected due to car issues and she arranged for a lovely helpful friend to meet us. The apartment was immaculately clean and well equipped, with everything that you could need plus lots of extra touches. There was milk, Beer, water and soft drink in the fridge which was appreciated and plenty of tea/ coffee and condiments if needed. The apartment was spacious and everywhere smelt clean and inviting. I would not hesitate to recommend staying at Helens place

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The apartment is located just before a pine forest, ideal for a walk - preferably with the dog. Biarritz and Bayonne are easy to reach, the nearby restaurants are also great (fish at the harbor, pizzerias, etc.). Jean-Marc responded to us extremely reliably and courteously and made our stay great with his open and warm manner. Thank you :)!

Quiet and well-equipped apartment. Perfect for recharging the batteries in this beautiful region. Particularly appreciated: the communication and responsiveness of the host, the welcome and availability of Dylan.

Cacilda gave us an excellent welcome and filled us with very nice little touches. The apartment is in a very good location, very close to the center but a little away from the hustle and bustle of the city, many discoveries are possible without using the car because we came by train. There is a bike rental company near the apartment. Biarritz is, however, an expensive city with a reputation that is a bit overrated and very artificial. The coastline is not very interesting for swimmers (too many dangerous waves) and for hikers (no coastal trails worthy of the name), except for surfers. To be informed, do not rely on the tourist office which is useless and not very communicative.
