Holiday rentals with lake access in Groningen

Arjen and Daniella's home was very lovely and quite comfortable. They were very communicative and provided me with lots of local recommendations and made it clear they were there to help if I needed anything. I truly enjoyed my time staying in their home and highly recommend.

Beautiful and fully equipped house with garden on the water in a quiet new residential area just outside Groningen. Living room with kitchen and beautiful cooking island. 3 bedrooms and bathroom with bath. Several outdoor seats with, among other things, a beautiful view of the Woldmeer and a jacuzzi. Lots of privacy. Especially nice hostess and host, who are flexible and respond quickly. Our grandchildren had a great time with the two cats that live there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The residential area is super nice and very quiet. Right outside the front door is a beautiful small beach and a jetty with access to the water. It is a bit away from Groningen, but easily accessible by car via Park + Ride, bus. The house was mostly clean. I can recommend staying here for a few days :)

We really enjoyed our stay at Lea’s place. It’s a spacious, cozy home with everything you need present. The kitchen was well equipped and there are books and games, and not to miss the great garden. The only thing we didn’t like was the curtains that let all light through - but after giving this as feedback Lea immediately thanked me for the tip and told me she will change it. Great host! Would recommend booking :)

It is an idyll. The sound of the wings of geese in the sky. Ducks that fly low over the lake. The cottage is very well equipped, from a dishwasher, oven to various terraces. This is highly recommended. Especially on a beautiful day. Thank you Joost and Adriaan, we would love to come back.

Marisa and Ronald are nice people, they respond immediately when you email them something. The house is equipped with all the comforts. Everything is clean and tidy. Smells nice and fresh when you come in.

If 10 stars were possible, I would have given you. It was incredibly beautiful in the house, we really felt totally comfortable. It was very clean and the location is so fantastic. Nelson was always very easy to reach despite his own vacation and helped with every little thing. The neighborhood is also so friendly and warm, we would love to arrive again in the near future. There is everything you need to have a relaxing and beautiful time. The direct lake with the wild geese was incredibly beautiful and also the jumbo market for shopping is only 5 minutes away. Beautiful and quiet place. The cats are also very friendly and easy going. The view over the water is amazing and the house feels cozy and cozy. Definitely recommended.

To our lovely host Diet. She was excellent and very responsive. At the beginning it was little confusing about getting there but when we arrived it was very easy to find. It was excellent and peaceful for our family stay. We were aloud to use bikes so that helped us a lot for good shopping. Canoe rides were excellent. I think we cannot picked better spot for us. Neighbours were super friendly and welcomed us with smiles and fantastic attitude. We will for sure come back. 😊 Diet- thank you for having us 😊

We spent almost two wonderful weeks at this accommodation with four adults and an 8-month-old baby. The house was spotlessly clean and exceptionally well-equipped – we didn’t miss a thing. We felt comfortable and at home from the very beginning. The location is perfect: close to Groningen and not far from the sea, offering a great mix of activities and relaxation. Whether you want to explore the area or just unwind, this place has it all. We highly recommend it and would gladly come back anytime!

Highly recommend! Staying at this Airbnb was just amazing! The place was exactly as described in the pictures – clean, stylishly decorated and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. By bike or car you can quickly get to Groningen, where you can do numerous activities! Our highlight was the hot tub, which was used diligently. We would come back.

We had a wonderful time at the Waldhaus! We particularly liked the terrace - we were able to spend many cozy hours there and enjoy the tranquility of nature. We immediately felt comfortable and were able to unwind wonderfully. We will be happy to come back!

Niels & Anniek were great hosts. Always helpful & quick to respond. Their place is perfect, so peaceful & relaxing with all the facilities you need. Nature on your door step. Only a short walk to the bus stop & a short bus ride if you need the bright lights of Groningen… I would definitely stay again.
