beautiful place, beautiful and peaceful surroundings, lots of nature, feels like being in the countryside

We had a wonderful stay with a group of 10 people. The house was very spacious, with plenty of seating areas both indoors and outside, making it perfect for relaxing together. It was well-equipped with two showers and two toilets, including one conveniently located near the sleeping area upstairs. The surroundings were peaceful and calming, offering a nice retreat from the city. At the same time, several major cities were easily accessible by car or public transport, and there was a supermarket close by for all essentials.

A very enjoyable short stay. Loved the accommodation. Quirky, interesting and comfortable. The extensive gardens were amazing and included a castle ruin. Our host was really helpful. A good location for exploring the surrounding ares such as Delft and Dortrecht. Would highly recommend.

Een knus huis van hele aardige mensen, wat op een mooi plekje staat. Het huisje heeft een eigen tuin. Heerlijk met mooi weer. Je zit eigenlijk meteen in de natuur en de stad is ook niet ver weg. Het is ongeveer 20 minuten met de auto naar Utrecht.

We hebben het met de hele familie en het hondje heel erg naar ons zin gehad op deze gezellige plek. Kraakwitte lakens en fijne bedden voor een heerlijke nachtrust. En alles voor een groot gezelschap is aanwezig, grote pannen, servies in grote hoeveelheden, tuinmeubelen etc. etc. Op 10 minuten rijden zijn er prachtige natuurgebieden te bezoeken, kortom alle ingrediënten waren aanwezig! Er was gewaarschuwd voor mogelijke overlast van het buurbedrijf Akkermans, wat best meeviel in ons geval. Dankjewel Jos, ook voor de fijne communicatie!

We really enjoyed our stay - peaceful beautiful area, we loved our breakfasts in the sun and the coziness of the house - it had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy too. Would definitely recommend!

Nuestra estancia en esta casa fue maravillosa. Todo estaba impecable, cómodo y bien decorado. Disfrutamos especialmente de tranquilidad del entorno y su excelente situación para visitar Ámsterdam y los bonitos pueblos de alrededor. El anfitrión fue muy amable y atento, con respuesta inmediata y dándonos muchas recomendaciones de que ver y cómo movernos por la zona.Sin duda, una experiencia no que repetiríamos. Recomendamos esta casa sin ninguna duda.

We had a great time at the apartment and everything about our stay there was amazing. The apartment was beautiful, clean and in an amazing and peaceful area. Marcel was also really kind and helpful and we were so happy to meet him in person. I would totally recommend and will definitely choose this apartment next time we’re coming to Netherlands!

Zoek je een rustig en fijn verblijf, ga dan naar Paul & Sandra. Aan alles is gedacht! Zoek je reuring dan kan Paul van alles met de nodige humor voor je regelen. Door het kleine maar fantastische keukentje in de thematische kamer kun je ook op jezelf zijn. Tv kijken, op de bank hangen of een spelletje aan tafel of op een ligbed beneden in de tuin. Je slaapt sowieso als een roosje door het fijne bed en de stille omgeving. Een bezoekje aan Slot Loevestein en met het voetveer naar Woudrichem voor een ijsje bij Baks is echt een aanrader. Obwohl wir recht spät ankamen, wurden wir von Edwin herzlich begrüßt. Der Kühlschrank war gefüllt mit leckeren Sachen, was recht praktisch für uns war nachdem wir so spät ankamen. Die Unterkunft ist klein, aber es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Sie ist sehr geschmackvol und sinnvoll eingerichtet. Sie liegt am Rande von Rotterdam wunderschön mit toller Aussicht und schönen Sonnenuntergängen vom Balkon aus. Unterhalb der Unterkunft befindet sich Renates Frisörladen, die man tagsüber auch hört. Da wir täglich den ganzen Tag mit unseren Fahrrädern unterwegs waren, hat uns das gar nicht besonders gestört. Übrigens stehen auch zwei Fahrräder zur Verfügung. Wir waren dort eine Woche und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Renate hat uns in Vorfeld auch reichlich Tipps für Ausflüge, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zugeschickt. Perfekt! Wir würden gerne wiederkommen und kann die Unterkunft ohne Bedenken weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank an Renate und Edwin für Eure Gastfreundlichkeit.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in ruhiger Lage. Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht und Den Haag in ca. 1 h mit dem Auto erreichbar. Die Küche und das Bad sind sehr gut ausgestattet und uns hat nichts gefehlt. Die Dusche und Toilette sind in zwei getrennten Räumen, was sehr praktisch war - lediglich die fehlende Tür zur Dusche hat uns ein wenig überrascht. Das Schlafsofa war sehr bequem - wer allerdings nur in kompletter Dunkelheit schlafen kann, sollte sich eine Schlafmaske einpacken, da nicht alle Fenster abgedunkelt werden können. Nicole war super nett und sehr herzlich und wir haben uns gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit und würden auf jeden Fall wieder bei ihr buchen.

Mijn zoon en ik hadden een heerlijk verblijf voor ons vader-zoon weekeinde. Niets moest en alles kon. Heerlijk rustig. Prachtig uitzicht en gemoedelijke ambiance. Goede inrichting in slaapkamers, keuken, badkamer en het zitgedeelte. Voldoende en ook goede stoelen.

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit auf dem Pilotenhof. Direkt auf dem Hof befinden sich einige Kühe, Schweine, Hühner und Katzen, welche sich sehr über ein Hallo von uns gefreut haben. Das Frühstück war sehr ausgewogen und lecker, können wir definitiv empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We had a lovely 5 day trip staying here in this homely apartment . The location was brilliant with the train station and good sized supermarket a 5 min walk away. We would go out for the day and pick up food for our dinner on our way home from the station. It has been lovely being able to see the horses and their playful nature with each other. Amsterdam was a 25 min train ride away with very regular trains.

Het verblijf van Denise heeft alles; fijne bedden, veel keukengerei, kruiden etc. We zouden zeker nog een keer terug gaan!

Rustige omgeving en vriendelijke gastvrouw. Leuk met alle dieren. Wij hebben een aangenaam verblijf gehad.

We had a wonderful stay at Gerline’s place. The photos don’t do it justice. It looks even better in real life. We had our 2 year old with us and she just loved going out to visit the cows and pony every morning. This is a great place to stay if you have kids with you (or even if you don’t) I would highly recommend this place. It’s a great central location for the Netherlands. I hope to stay again soon
