Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Grindelwald

We loved the place ! We used it as our base to explore Switzerland with a eurail train pass, did day trips to Zurich, Basel, Geneva, Lauterbrunnen, Thun, Interlaken and Bern. Walkable distance from the train station, also a beautiful walk in a pretty village circled by mountains. The place was squeaky clean and had everything we needed. Very friendly host, was responsive and gave clear instructions. We even had a binder explaining how to use the ameneties and with local recommandations. Would go back if I was to travel to Switzerland again !

Absolutely fantastic stay. A little away from the busier, tourist areas so was nice to enjoy the peaceful neighbourhood. Saying that it is only a 15 minute walk to the main train station. Had everything we needed for a lovely week in Interlaken. Gabrielle was fantastic at communicating beforehand so we knew what to expect and how to get in as we had a late evening arrival. Would love to stay there again should we return to Interlaken. The place was nicely decorated and spacious. Facilities were perfect for a couple.

The greenhouse was an absolutely beautiful place to stay. Perfect accommodation for an idyllic location. The hot tub was incredible.

说实话，远超预期的居住体验。当初因为签证问题，导致订房时间紧凑，我们将行程格林德瓦更改到了施皮茨。这间民宿让这次的旅程升华了。不管是民宿本身还是服务。千万不要因为首页照片的古朴而被误导，当你真正的入住，你会发现这就是你心目中的远方，甚至没有之一。屋内设施齐全，干净整洁，有自己家的感觉。 之前新西兰的民宿给我留下了很好的印象，那是现代化的诗和远方但夜晚却过分安静，那发生在新西兰南岛的瓦纳卡。这次瑞士之旅中，居住在这里，是被湖与山包围的舒畅感，这是更加更加古朴的诗与远方但夜晚却是温馨的。值得一提的是，我连续睡了10个小时，或许这与佛罗伦萨的徒步有关，但我还是想把功劳归于这里，住在这里会让你的旅程更加难忘。

Beautiful home with modern appliances, pool, and gorgeous view. Definitely recommend for couples or families! Thank you to the owner for accommodating us and being extremely responsive.

The chalet was the perfect little getaway to visit Switzerland. It was nestled on the hillside with breathtaking views of all of Grindelwald and the surrounding mountains. Was the perfect distance from everything, very quiet and a very nice neighbor living in front of the property. Would definitely stay here again in the future! Fully recommend this place for anyone wanting to see Switzerland!

The place is very nice, clean, and well-maintained, in a quiet area near good restaurants. It's just a few minutes from the train station. The area is very peaceful and beautiful for walking. Recommended!

숙소 위치도 집 컨디션도 너무너무 좋았습니다.. 만약 다음에 스위스를 오게 된다면 또 오고싶습니다. 편하게 쉬다가 갑니다 감사합니다.

Beautiful setting. Very short easy walk from the train station (literally a few hundred feet from the train crossing). The apartment is cozy with a comfortable bed. Full kitchen (except for a microwave). The marina offers boat tours of lake Brienz (one way or round trip to Interlaken). Restaurants and grocery store very near by. Good value for the money, easy commute to Interlaken. I'd recommend this place and I'd definitely stay there again in the future.

Maria’s home was a beautiful retreat from the noise of the city. It has an amazing view of the lake that beckons you to spend hours just looking at the horizon. The unit was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Highly recommended this location for a small family who wants to cook and spend some quiet time together.

The place is absolutely stunning. So peaceful and exactly what I was expecting from lauterbrunnen. You need to take the bus from the train station to access the property, but I loved that as it was outside the busy area. The only downside is the very late check in (4pm) and early check out. Otherwise the place is clean, and the staff/host are very responsive and nice. Would definitely recommend it.

The view is everything! Must have a car if in this area, garage is provided and nice to have. The washer and dryer is very convenient. Home is well depicted in pictures. Television is upstairs only. A big plus is the access to the hotel spa and pool, very conveniently located just a 2 min walk. The mattress in our opinion was far too soft for our liking but that is our preference. Overall nice place and would recommend. If we are looking to stay in the same area again we would be happy to come back.

We visited for 5 days and never ran out of things to do, places to see or excellent restaurants. The views are out of this world too. We had a rental car but the train station is fairly close and depending on your situation, walkable. If you do drive, we always had parking right at the front door. The description is very accurate and we felt right at home. We had everything and more including lots of Swiss Chocolates! Maegi was very helpful even going above and beyond to help us when needed. I can't say enough and if our travels land us back in that area we will try to book with Maegi again!

We had a great time! Host was super friendly and gave clear instructions. The town is very peaceful and a close drive down to Interlaken. The view was unbelievable and everything lived up to our expectations. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a quieter spot with beautiful mountain views!

It was an absolutely amazing apartment in Grindelwald! The location was perfect (easily walkable from train station and close to restaurants and shops). The apartment itself was spacious and great for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). Daniela was extremely helpful. Not only did she send a detailed directions with photos on how to get into the place, she also gave recommendations for the area and was responsive to other questions. This is the best airbnbs that I have ever booked and would recommend it to everyone.

별점을 5점만 주는것이 아쉬운 숙소입니다. 집 문을 열고 나가면 바로 보이는 아이거 북벽과 옹기 종기 모여있는 샬레의 모습에 매일 문 열고 나가는것이 설레였습니다. 근처 역까지 도보로 15분 정도 걸리지만 그 가는길 마져 너무 아름다워 시간 가는줄 모르고 다녔네요.☺️🩷 뿐만아니라, 호스트인 아니타씨는 매우 친절하고, 응답도 매우 빠르고, 중간 중간 어려운건 없는지 체크해 주는 세심함에 너무 감사했습니다. 체크인 하는날은 물론이고, 체크아웃을 새벽 6시에 해야하는 상황임에도 차로 기차역까지 데려다줘서 무거운 캐리어 끌고 이동하지 않아도되서 너무 좋고 편했어요.!!! 집의 컨디션도 매우 현대적이고 아늑하게 꾸며져있었고, 필요한 모든 것이 다 갖춰져있어 불편한 것 하나 없이 지낼 수 있었어요!! 특히 룸 슬리퍼 제공과 우산을 빌려주는 서비스에서도 아니타의 세심함을 또 한번 더 느꼈네요👍🏻 그린델발트에 다시 방문한다면 꼭 다시 방문할거에요!!

장점과 단점이 명확한 숙소입니다. 아이거 북벽이 바로 앞에 있어서 웅장함을 느낄 수 있습니다. 하지만 그린델발트 마을의 전경을 보고싶다면 역 근처 숙소가 더 적합합니다. 매우 청결합니다. 오래 된 나무집이라 냄새와 벌레를 걱정했는데 내부는 매우 깨끗했습니다. 하지만 말 농장이 바로 앞이라 똥파리가 많아서 문을 열어놓을 수가 없었습니다. 호스트가 친절하고 응답이 빠릅니다. 낯선 나라에서 사람 없는 한적한 곳에 머무는 것이 두려웠는데 호스트 덕분에 안전하다는 느낌을 받았습니다. 집 바로 앞에 염소, 말, 개가 있습니다. 동물을 무서워하는 사람이면 피하시는 게 좋습니다. 하지만 옆집 개 valru는 훌륭한 친구입니다. 날씨가 안 좋아서 어디 갈 수 없을 때 동물들과 시간을 보내면 좋았습니다. valru를 다시 만나고 싶습니다. valru는 성격이 매우 좋고 내 곁을 지켜준 친구입니다. 버스 정류장이 바로 앞에 있습니다. 1시간에 1대 오는 그린델발트 마을 버스가 있습니다. 시간만 잘 맞춰서 나가면 편하게 이동할 수 있습니다. 식기류가 잘 구비되어 있습니다. 예쁜 컵이 많아서 분위기 있는 식사를 할 수 있었습니다. 다만 샤워기 호스가 불편했습니다. 조금이라도 꺾이면 물이 나오지 않았습니다. 그리고 나무집이라 삐걱대는 소리가 심합니다. 윗층에 할머니가 거주하시는데 계단 올라갈 때 마다 소음이 심했습니다.

absolutely the best airbnb that we've ever stayed in! ronny and mariana's apartment was huge, spotlessly clean, and even bigger and better than the pictures. the kitchen was well-stocked with condiments and cooking needs alike - even a fondue pot and solid fuel! it was a pity we didn't get to use the private lakefront as it was cloudy and rainy during our stay, but it would have been a perfect spot to relax if the sun was out. the only tiny downside is that the curtains were not blackout curtains, so we were woken up by the light quite early as we are light-sensitive. regardless, our whole stay was serene and peaceful. we can't stop recommending this airbnb to our friends!

The host was warm, professional, and provided clear instructions for check-in, along with great local tips for hikes, restaurants, and sightseeing. 너무너무 좋음 근데 조금 비쌈 그린델발트 터미널 (융프라우)도보 2~3 너무했음 풍격이 압도적임 넒묽졹은덹 짆짵졿라겏빖쌂 홂슲튻값 싧킰는겧줧랃겞많음 👍👍👍👍너무좋아요 :) 다음에도 또 갈거같아요 ^_^

Kim was a wonderful host and met us at the door. She showed us how to work the dishwasher, washer, dryer, tv, etc. There was plenty of room and the rooms are quite larger than they looked in pictures. Beds were so comfortable. Towels were plush and great water pressure win the main shower. Loved that we could sleep with the windows open and they had screens to keep bugs out. Would 100% recommend Kim’s place and would love to stay there again.

Andrea's Airbnb was a nice 3-night stay for me in the middle of a much longer trip. I needed a place to decompress, do laundry, and recover from international flights and jetlag. Andrea's condo in Spiez was a spacious and convenient choice. The condo is a short walk from the picturesque town and the train station, and the neighborhood was very quiet while I was there. I agree with the suggestion to take the bus up the hill from the train station to the stop near the condo if you are carrying luggage or groceries. I also agree with reviewers that mentioned the lack of a microwave, which was OK for a short stay but I would miss if I rented for a longer time. The grocery store is near the train station and walkable. I will caution that almost everything in town is closed on Sunday, so if you arrive on a Saturday then pick up enough groceries to tide you over to Monday. There's a small convenience store at the train station if you have to buy on Sunday. I would stay here again.
