We can't say enough great things about our stay at The Gatehouse at Douglass Farms. We were celebrating my sons graduation and had 7 adults and a dog. We had everything we needed in a beautiful setting. Family came over for lunch and everyone loved the decor and uniqueness of this house. Heidi was quick to help us when we needed it! I would definitely stay here again, and I will recommend it to all of my friends going to Oxford for football games, parent's weekends or graduations!

Hannah's home was perfect for our Oxford weekend. Great location, comfy mattress, and all we needed for cooking. Hannah was communicative, kind, and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect place to stay for the Ole Miss vs Georgia game. When all other places were way over priced I looked right down the road and found the Country Chalet. Great private spot just minutes away from Ole Miss. Will definitely be returning!

Simply astonishing! The home is like a piece of Mississippi history and a museum. The home is amazing, inviting, and gives the sense of being home. We were able to enjoy all of the comforts the home has to offer. But that is only one part, the host definitely deserves an award for complete hospitality at its finest. We lost power the night before checkout but he thought of that and we were prepared with the offered generator. The weather got really bad and to be honest, scary. But Boo made it his business to check on us and make sure we were safe. He made us feel valued like family, and not just like paying guest. He is just simply the best. Thanks Boo for being the person you are!

We had an amazing stay in Oxford for game day! The location was just a short walk to the stadium, making it super convenient for all the pre-game festivities. The house was clean, cozy, and had a great vibe—perfect for our group of friends. Our host was incredibly responsive and provided great local tips, which enhanced our experience. We loved exploring the charming town, enjoying delicious food, and soaking up the electric atmosphere of college football. Can’t wait to come back next season! Highly recommend

Amy was an amazing host, for our fishing trip over the weekend. We recommend her Airbnb 1000x. She was very friendly and respectful. We are already planning our next fishing trip and will be staying at Amy’s Airbnb if it is available!

Secnd year coming down for a fishing trip. Cabins are awesome and the Goffs are even better! Had some unfortunate weather during our stay that knocked out the power and every effort was made to make sure that we were taken care of! We will be back!

We were there there to fish and was the perfect location to the lake.

This house and host was by far one of the best places I’ve stayed at. Beds were comfortable, host communicated very well with any questions we had before and during. Country feel and quite area. At night you couldn’t hear anything but the crickets chirping. Will definitely be staying here again if around Oxford!

great for a stay longer than a weekend - full kitchen, close to all the great restaurants and shops in WV, and a 25 min straight shot to oxford if you want to have a big night out. plus the church bell across the street will tell you the time on the half hour! stayed for four nights and was sad to leave

The world these days is full of hustle and bustle and this was just what we needed to unplug and relax. Absolutely perfect for a peaceful and laidback weekend. The owners were lovely. Sparkling clean. Comfortable place. The woodworking of the cabin is so intricate, unique and artistic. We will be back again.
