House holiday rentals in Green County

This was our second time at Ho Hum East and we had a great time! The new deck updates were super nice adding outdoor space to layout food and enjoy most meals on the deck. The outdoor kitchen wasn't completed yet but, will be a great addition to the new deck when it's done. The main bath was newly remodeled and was very nice and spacious. The lake front was well maintained and a great space for us to spend most of our time enjoying the water, sun, fishing, boating, nature and wildlife. The dock was a little wobbly although, we were told that was being replaced at some point but it worked for us. The airbnb owner provided a paddleboard, rubber raft, corn hole boards and other outdoor items to use. The proximity of the home was only a few minutes from amenities i.e. pool, golf course, beach and The Cove (restaurant). The only drawback is all the steps - it would be great if there was a pulley system or other system to take items up and down the steps from the house to the lake front.

We just completed an amazing getaway here at Lisa’s place. The pictures do not do this beautiful home justice. Everything is even better than presented. The kitchen is phenomenal - with every appliance, cook/bake/serveware you can imagine, and a perfect focal place for gatherings. Each room is cozy and homey - and there are so many hidden gems! The bedrooms were elegant yet amazingly comfortable for resting. And the location is super easy to access Madison while offering quiet & peace for morning & evening walks (added bonus if you bring your pup!). Finally and maybe best of all, Lisa is a perfect host!! Immediately responsive, really helpful with questions, and she offered terrific recommendations that we took up & thoroughly enjoyed. We all loved everything about our stay & plan to come back!

We had such a great stay! The host went above and beyond, they called us ahead of time to see if we had any questions or needed anything, which was such a nice touch. They also checked in via text on the day we arrived and again on check-out day to make sure everything went smoothly. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed, and it felt like a home away from home. Our kids especially loved the game room and had a blast running around and playing in the spacious yard. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing and fun family getaway during our stay for a wedding. Us adults really enjoyed the views of the river and all the different seating areas.

This was such an amazing home for a family vacation! They supply everything you could possibly need and are the friendliest hosts! My whole family had a great time and we will most definitely be back!

Nice, dog-friendly place to stay near Madison. We were in town to visit family so we didn’t spend much time at the Airbnb. The bed was comfortable and the space was clean. It was perfect for our needs for the weekend and we would stay there again. Loved the welcome gifts (waters, snacks, and flowers) that were left for us!

This home was perfect for what we needed. We have been to Apple Canyon many times, to visit family, so we are familiar with the area. There was a ton of space for our kids to have their own space, if needed. Kitchen was very clean and well stocked. The deck and loft had a beautiful view of the lake, Perfect for a morning cup of coffee and a book. We didn't use the fire pit, but it looked like it would have been a great way to wrap up the day. I also wanted to make note of how accommodating the host was, as we thought we were going to arrive earlier than listed check-in and they were good with early entry to the home. We then had a brunch on departure day and when my husband called, they were very gracious and told us not to feel rushed to leave. We would definitely stay here again.

Tiffany was a kind and communicative host. We enjoyed our time here and the boys golfed all weekend at surrounding golf courses. The place was incredibly clean and well appointed. Lots of space for us to hang and play cards at night and we enjoyed playing in the yard one afternoon as well. It’s a place away from it all. Thanks for having us.

Danesa was a fantastic host and was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The Cliffside Cottage was everything the listing said it would be and more. Not only was the house gorgeous, but the layout was so well thought out and gave our party of 9 plenty of space to enjoy without being on top of each other. The highlight of the house was the screened in porch. It was truly such a peaceful place to sit and listen to the birds or to watch the rain come down without any pesty bugs or mosquitos. We could have spent hours and hours sitting there enjoying the incredible views while enjoying each others company. Other highlights included the well stocked kitchen (truly everything you could need and more), the location (close enough to enjoy Galena, but far enough away to feel as if you are the only ones around for miles) and the outdoor space which was perfect for fires and stargazing. We truly loved this house and would love to come back one day to experience it in a different season.

Beautiful cabin, nestled between WI dairy farms. Many thoughtful, homey touches like books, games, throw blankets, vinyl records & very well stocked kitchen. Wonderful for large group. Plenty of gathering spaces & space to tuck away for quiet time. Loved the walking trails on property!

This is a beautiful place and was even roomier than it appears in pics. Aaron was really responsive and helpful to a question I had as well. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house - you thought of everything. Easy to get to, lots of things to do - definitely get to the Dells and take the boat ride and duck ride. Soooo many water parks there for kids and adults. And of course go to cheese museum- came home with about 25 lbs of cheese for friends and family (which wasn't easy since we drove from Virginia and had to keep it cool - but it was worth it)! Was a great vacation for our city dogs. One of our dogs is reactive and was super nice for her to have a wide open space to run. Dan is awesome and the kind of guy you’d like to go fishing with. 5 out of 5 stars

the Holy Cow Guest Haus was a perfect location - we didn't use our cars once they were parked and were able to walk to everywhere we went in New Glarus! Lots of wonderful local spots to eat/drink/shop nearby. Teri was flexible about our arrival time and had a binder of menus and local suggestions to page through!

Great location close to town and the brewery. Very nice neighborhood

Sandra is a kind and responsive host. Felt at home!

The square house was exactly as described. Alisha was a great host and always quick to respond to any questions. The location is perfect for walking to local restaurants and shops. Quiet neighborhood and friendly people everywhere we went. We would definitely stay again if in the area!
