Waterfront holiday rentals in Greater Geelong City

We were down for the weekend to watch the footy. Lots of places booked out, it was a busy weekend in Geelong - boat show/racing, regatta, footy, air show next weekend, lucky to find Nicks place available. Walking distance to GMHBA stadium and eateries and waterfront. Nice place, old unit that’s been done up. Garage is small/low, our hatchback fitted but an SUV wouldn’t. A comfortable stay in a good location. Nick was a friendly and helpful host.

My second stay at Samantha’s. Just as wonderful as the first! Gorgeous apartment, such comfy beds and very well equipped bathroom and kitchen. The gym in the building is well equipped too. Samatha was always friendly and prompt with communication thank you for another great visit!

Really nice apartment - great location, across the road from the beach and even better the cafe! Would highly recommend for couples or small family.

Spacious and comfortable apartment immediately in front of the beach. Rooms were comfortable with fans and air-conditioning in every room. Generous living and dining areas meant a family of six were not cramped. Supermarket downstairs was a bonus allowing us to buy fresh bread/pastries and produce daily to prepare our own meals and eat on the balcony with amazing views. Ample outdoor space to unload all of our gear coming back from the beach. Area felt safe and locals quite friendly. We had an amazing and memorable family holiday.

Great Place to stay right in the middle of town, close to shops and places to eat and easy walk across to park and pier. Very nice place to stay and quiet, well set out and plenty of room. Can recommend Harbour View as a great place to stay.

Yue’s place was beautifully furnished and unbeatable location. Views from the master bedroom and balcony were stunning. Thank you Yue for letting us celebrate my mums 70th birthday in style.

Maree provides a seamless checkin and exit process. Unit was spotless and fully equipped, instructions were clear and thorough. Location is excellent! Couple of minutes walk to the water and restaurants. Super handy to get to and from Avalon airport. Couch and bed very comfortable. Really liked the flexible layout of the living space! Perfect for what we needed, a base to stay while we attended a wedding and visited friends. Price is very reasonable and comparable to hotel rates but with the added bonus of having the entire place to yourself! Would certainly stay here again when we next visit Geelong. What a brilliant find! We loved that it was So close to the beach and an easy walk to the doggy beach. House was very clean and beds comfortable. I took my own pillow. Hubby said the pillows were a bit too high. Lots of light but good blockout blinds for at night. We felt right at home and were able to have a much needed 3 days of relaxation. Janell and Nathan were great communicators I would recommend this venue and we have every intention of visiting again!

Thanks Aurynes for promptly communicating with us when we enquired, and for easy to follow instructions on how to get into the property. Your accommodation was spotlessly clean and had amenities beyond what was expected, including snacks and fresh produce provided so that if we wanted to self-cater for a couple of days, it would have been very easy. Your home was spotlessly clean, and we couldn't have asked for anything more in terms of location, quietness of neighbourhood, and a great German Bierhaus a one minute walk down the road. Would recommend this property for anyone wanting somewhere reasonably central to all the amenities Geelong has to offer - about a 20 minute walk down to Packington St where all the amazing cafes and restaurants are, or 15 minute walk down to the waterfront - again : amazing cafes and restaurants. Thanks for making our stay memorable.

Our large family thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay. Despite three days of rain, the home is perfect to share quality family time together as well as having fabulous access to the nearby village and beach - literally one street away. Kate was the perfect host and communicated very clearly and in a friendly manner right from the point of booking. We enjoyed the fire, the separate living zones and the expansive kitchen/living area. Thank you for having us, we thoroughly enjoyed your beautiful beach house!!

Annie's place was such a beautiful place to stay, both inside and out! We hope to return! Barwon Heads is a wonderful town and a great location to explore the Bellarine and the Great Ocean Road and the house is right on the Barwon River, we loved having tea and looking out at the river from the couch. The house itself was an absolute pleasure to stay in - so well-equipped and beautifully presented and the pool is lovely and warm (a great place to swim if cold water swimming isn't your style). Annie was a great host, accommodating an earlier arrival time and with clear and friendly communication.

Great place to stay with the 6 of us and our furry friends as well. Beach shack was just as described and we love it. Pool table was a hit and played it lots. Would have loved champagne glasses supplied and proper fencing for dogs would be an added bonus. We will be back for sure

Absolutely loved my stay. Libby was a friendly local who went out of her way to make me feel comfortable. I had never stayed in the new part of Point Lonsdale before but was really impressed with the lake and sparkly new houses. Very quick to get to either Lonny or Queenscliff beaches and shops. The place was very private even though part of the house. Having the garden to myself was lovely. Really roomy for a one bedroom and loved the separate toilet, pretty tiles and panelled doors and comfy bed. Little work desk if you needed it. Very quiet and peaceful. Will book again!
