Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Great Lakes Council

Our stay at this beautiful home was incredible. The views of the bush and lake are amazing, and all the rooms of the house were stunning. You feel super secluded but with everything close by. Ken was great with communication.

Sandy is a great host, made everything very easy for us to use, ping pong table and arcade machine was fun, fire place in the backyard made for a chilled space.

A great property to base yourself while in Shoal Bay. 10 minute walks into Shaol Bay, or to the beaches. To have Wreck beach 10 minute walk from your door is fantastic. Beds are extremely comfortable and the house was perfect for what we wanted. If we do get the opportunity to visit Shoal Bay again, we defiantly hope to stay here again.

This is the second time I have stayed here and it is a beautiful home for a weekend away for one as a retreat or for a family getaway. Thoroughly enjoyable.

It was an absolute pleasure to spend a weekend here. We had a lovely time just staying in and enjoying the beauty of the surrounding nature. The tennis courts were a great addition and we particularly enjoyed sitting out at the deck for all our meals. We also enjoyed the cozy fireplace in the evenings. We look forward to returning in the future.

We had a fantastic stay! The location was absolutely beautiful and perfect for kids to enjoy. The hot tub was a real highlight, especially on a cold evening, it was such a treat. Highly recommend and would love to come back!

This was our second time staying here, and once again it was absolutely perfect. The location is awesome — peaceful, secluded, and with stunning views in every direction. It’s incredibly quiet, which made for a truly relaxing getaway. Everything we needed was included, from the cozy fire we could light to keep warm, to the fully equipped kitchen that had everything we could possibly need for cooking. It really feels like a home away from home. Highly recommended — and we’ll definitely be coming back again! Yvonne even kindly offered a slight discount.

The cabin was cozy, peaceful and had gorgeous views. You can hear the river in the background, light the wood fire outside with the fire wood provided and use the bbq to make dinner. There are plenty of provided cooking materials/equipment - so no need to pack much from home. We had a lovely stay, and ventured out to the national park for a hike to help break up the day. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet stay out of the chaos of the city

It is a really beautiful house overseeing the beach near Nelson Bay. My family thoroughly enjoyed the stay for a few nights. Host was really nice, even messaged me that she found my misplaced ring. thank you very much! Best seaside experience we had!

This place was the perfect place to stay while attending a birthday party nearby. We were continually entertained by the attention to detail and thoughtful inclusions to make our stay enjoyable. Spinning the old vinyls on the original 1960s record player was fun. Especially loved the old Beach Boys album. Good vibrations all round! A fun, funky and different place to stay.

Absolutely loved our stay in this cosy, clean, and super quiet home in Greta. Perfectly located just 15 minutes from the wineries, it was the ideal base for a busy wedding weekend. The property is peaceful and beautifully maintained – we only wish we had more time to enjoy it! There were horses and a little sausage dog named Wonka who definitely deserve a shoutout. We’ll be back

Second time coming back and definitely was not disappointed with this place. Jennifer is so lovely and checked on us as we arrived. The place itself is stunning and very clean. Our favourite part is definitely the view and serenity of the place. Thank you for having us for the second time :)

Amazing stay at Elizabeth’s beautiful property! We were blown away by how beautiful it is, with the sounds of nature to help us relax.

Nestled a few streets back from the beach, the location was private and peaceful and only a 20 min walk to the bay. All the amenities are well maintained and was spotlessly clean awaiting our arrival.

The apartment and the amenities are outstanding. We returned here because we had to extend staying away from our house because of renovations. This was our first choice and u cannot recommend it enough. What really does need highlighted is how much of an outstanding history Connie is. She was so understanding, compassionate, super friendly and flexible. She deserves 10 stars.

This accomodation was outstanding. Great location and the unit was equipped with everything you needed including some thoughtful items like a coffee machine, condiments in the fridge to a variety of tea and coffee selections. Communication was on point with step by step instructions on how to access the unit and Mark was very reactive to emails. The outlook was amazing, listening to the sound of the waves and the sunsets ❤️. I will be back..

Wow, this garden apartment is fabulous. Arrival was easy & straight forward. On entering, I was pleasantly surprised. The apartment is so spacious, bright & airy and the proportions are very generous. A rare find indeed. The kitchen is lovely with everything you could possibly need. The bedroom is roomy and the bed devine, so comfortable. The bathroom is large & bright with a spacious shower & a separate bath.. There is a well equipped gym and a lovely swimming pool, all on the same level as the apartment.. both well used by us.. We loved it so much that we will make a night stop, room only, on our return.

The place was beautiful the views were stunning too. The place was perfect size for a family, with all the amenities you would need. The house was also spotless and the location was great too, central to everything! It was also easy to check in.

We were so impressed to find such beautiful accommodation that was pet friendly right in the middle of Newcastle! The accommodation was clean, aesthetically lovely, with little touches to make everything special. Keran provided everything you could possibly want or need including lovely snacks, beach towels, coffee and tea, books and much more. I would definitely recommend accommodation and will book in again and again :)
