Linda was an exceptional host. I don’t want to get guests’ hopes up but the cake she left for my husband’s birthday was such a lovely surprise. So very friendly and helpful - thank you.

Sunnyside Hampsthwaite HG3

DavidRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A wonderful weekend spent in cosy Sunnyside, a cottage that has been fabulously refurbished, thoughtfully designed and fabulously presented. Everything was spotlessly clean and oozed good quality. Hampsthwaite was perfectly located for exploring the area, and is a quaint, peaceful village with a welcoming pub just up the road (Joiners Arms). Emily, our host, was very accommodating and great to respond to any queries. We would not hesitate to stay again or recommend to others.

Cosy cottage in a quiet corner of Nidderdale

LouiseRating, 5 stars5 days ago
The artists retreat was very easy to find, even though it's quiet & secluded. On arriving you couldn't help being in awe of the gardens, so cottage beautiful. The cottage though petite is perfect for two and very cosy, would reiterate that the stairs are extremely steep so need to be fairly nimble and some doors are low but all in all perfect for us. We took our elderly dog with us and he loved mooching around the garden especially first thing in the morning It is perfectly situated for visiting lots of interesting places, we walked to Brimham Rocks, and also visited Richmond, Pateley Bridge and a must see is the Himalayan Garden and sculpture park - stunning. Could easily do Harrogate too but we ran out of time! Lovely walks from the door to down quiet bridle paths, perfect for an evening stroll. We didn't meet the hosts but had no reason to contact them. We did however meet some neighbours who were really friendly. We must visit again!

The Stable Room

AlixRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We were welcomed by a quaint and cosy stable room, refurbished to a very high standard. The room itself was clean, with a spacious bed, pull out dining table and chairs, and kitchenette. There were no formal cooking facilities outside a microwave, fridge, and kettle but these were fine for us as we ate out at one of the local pubs (within walking distance). It’s a lovely location, positioned perfectly for access to the Dales and the accompanying hiking routes. Rebecca was a very welcoming host and quick to respond to any queries!

The Old Rope Mill - A Nidderdale Riverside Retreat

DanielRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Millnook was a clean, comfortable and practical property for a weekend stay. It has easy access to the River Nidd walk along to Pateley Brige which has a few shops and two pubs. In the other direction you can walk up to Brimham Rocks.
