Holiday rentals with a patio in Grantham

Exactly as described. Milk, tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival. Comfortable bed, spotless, plenty of hot water, a decent wardrobe and hangers and very peaceful. The perfect location if attending a function at Woodborough Hall as only a short walk away. A very pretty village only a few miles out of Nottingham. Communication with Simon via messaging was easy and prompt and was accommodating to our check in needs due to long distance travel to attend a wedding. Thank you!

Right from the start Craig was very pro-active in messaging and ensuring I was comfortable about where I was going and how to access it. The location is remarkable as it's within a few minute's walk of Nottingham city centre and yet it feels like a quiet suburb - all I could hear most of the time was birdsong. The downside is that being city centre you have to navigate city-centre traffic to reach it if driving but given it's proximity to the railway station that may not be an issue. The onsite parking with the parking permit was a real advantage. The apartment itself is exactly as described and is very homely. Craig has provided a number of 'extras' that are unusual in a property like this such as Sky TV and a coffee machine and it felt generous. All in all I'd very happily recommend Craig's place to anyone who wanted easy access to Nottingham city centre but also wants peace and quiet.

A great family stay. The accommodation was very well equipped and really comfortable. Hosts responded quickly to any queries and we were really well located for shops and restaurants. Would love to return when we can. Thanks Mel and Brittany for a lovely stay.

Couldn't fault anything! Spotlessly clean, everything as described, nice quiet area. Tesco and huge Sainsbury's both within walking distance. I will definitely be staying again next time I'm in the area!

We had a lovely stay. The apartment was beautiful and very well equipped. The beds and sofa's were very comfortable and Phillip was a lovely host. The location was excellent. I would not hesitate to stay again.

Easy to find, located behind a pub (pub is currently closed) the lodges are situated away from the pub itself & accessed via the pub car park. Plenty of dedicated parking outside the lodges, with a step to a decked area running along the front of them, to one end of this there is a sloped ramp allowing easier access. The lodge we stayed in was bright, airy, spotless, modern and had all of the basics to provide a comfortable night's rest. Each lodge has it's own en-suite shower room, with only tea & coffee making facilities, but after chatting to Nick, he said he might be able to provide a microwave & small fridge by prior arrangement. Although Nick is not on site, he is nearby & is VERY quick to respond to any questions you might have. We had a lovely stay, with the peace & quiet we were looking for, we would highly recommend Walcott Lodges & will certainly be using them again in the future. Thankyou Nick & Anna

Amazing place to unwind and relax. The hot tub jacuzzi is superb! There are also the large tv and comfortable sofas for a family movie as well as lots of games to keep you entertain the whole day. There's also a convenience store and a pizza takeaway shop just around the corner. If you can booked it longer, please do so.

5 stars for everything. superb property, excellent value and everything very clean. the beds were very comfortable. aldi is in walking distance and very handy short drive to Phoenix park for the park and ride. Anuj was so quick to respond to any questions and had helpful suggestions. we had a great stay and hope to come back soon.

We had a truly delightful stay at the Cottage. From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and at ease. The cottage is beautiful with thoughtful touches throughout and modern comfort. The setting is peaceful and picturesque, nestled in the lovely village of Corby Glen. It’s an ideal base for countryside walks, local exploring, and just unwinding away from the hustle and bustle. The surrounding area has some quaint shops, and we particularly enjoyed the nearby woodlands and historic sites. Inside the cottage, everything was spotless and well-equipped. The kitchen had all the essentials (and more), and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We especially loved the cozy living area, perfect for relaxing after a day out. Communication with our host was excellent—friendly, helpful, and responsive. It’s clear a lot of care has gone into making this place special. We wouldn’t hesitate to return xx

This is a beautifully furnished cottage, in a lovely location. we enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor spaces whilst visiting for a special occasion. It has all the amenities you need to feel right at home along some great Board games to keep you entertained in the evenings. the host was kind and left us some wonderful snacks for Arrival and the place was exactly as they described. would definitely come again. perfect for a family get away or special occasion whilst visiting Lincoln! thank you!

What a fantastic place! We stayed for two comfortable nights with our children and dog and had a fabulous time. We had a picnic on the lawn overlooking the Vale of Belvoir, ran the dog around the many fields surrounding the house and spent time watching TV and playing with the kids in the front room. Richard and Jo had put out the cot ahead of our visit, and even had bed bumpers ready for toddlers. The house is spacious and well appointed in a fantastic location.

What a wonderful week we had staying in the garden nook! Everything was perfect from start to finish and Lisa was great in telling us about the local restaurants and brilliant walks to take us to the nearest villages. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived and have had the most relaxing and revitalising stay. We even got to feed the baby calves and lambs on our second night which was a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back next year! Thanks again for an amazing stay! ☺️

An absolute gem! Highly recommend. We were a party of 2 families (2 adults and 4 kids, ages 13-17). This accommodation was perfect for our needs. It’s spacious, clean, a great location and even better than the photos. A well equipped kitchen, lots of board games to keep us entertained in the evening, and lots of bathrooms. Kiran is a great host. Very responsive and nothing was a problem. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely apartment.

What a great find. Perfect location for peaceful walks with my Dalmatian Daisy. The accommodation is finished to a very high standard with plenty of room and felt secure and safe. Most important to me was that it was dog friendly and it really was. Daisy had her own secure area to play in and this is just so helpful. Hosts are friendly and the info provided to help you to find the place is excellent, also lots of info in the accommodation about the local area. Would definitely recommend and also would love to stay again for a longer break.

Had an amazing stay here! The apartment is even better in person – super spacious, full of character, and really well put together. Loved all the little touches that made it feel cosy and luxurious at the same time. Location was perfect for exploring the Peak District, and Wirksworth itself is a lovely little town. Great communication from the host too – everything was really smooth. Would definitely stay again!
