Holiday rentals in Grande Riviere Noire

We had the pleasure of discovering this lovely place at the end of our stay. It was impeccably clean: decorated with taste and simplicity, creating a harmonious atmosphere. The meeting with Marie and Thierry was a real favorite. The times of sharing allowed us to learn about the local life, we also appreciated the tips and recommendations they gave us. Sweet Island is the result of their efforts and many hours of work they have spent building a lush garden perfectly maintained with the pool that is a major asset. The potential of this house has been beautifully highlighted. We recommend it and will be back with pleasure!

We stayed at this property for 3 nights and it was fantastic. The property and the entire estate complex, in which the property is situated, is a delight. Mr. Roelf provided with very specific instructions for checking in and provided with necessary information. The amenities provided by him were amazing, including board games and tennis rackets and scooters to commute within the estate complex. It has a great tennis court. Now, specifically the situation of the property is such that it's overlooking the mountains and estate itself serves as a private yacht parking for individual houses. The view is beautiful even when you're simply relaxing at the private deck. The location point could serve as a central point for going either way to Tamarin,Le Morne,Casela Park,Seven Colored earth and Grand Bassin. There are a couple of supermarkets within 3 kms range. The only missing thing was a water purifier for drinking water at the property. Rest all was great. Overall, a wonderful experience

The whole apartment was well equipped. I had no issues at all. Despite having other apartments nearby, it was very peaceful. A great place to relax and unwind.

She went above and beyond by creating a custom app filled with all the information we could possibly need — from details about the accommodation to recommendations for restaurants, cafes, activities, and more. The attention to detail in the apartment is simply outstanding — everything was thoughtfully arranged to make our stay comfortable and special. The design, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere exceeded our expectations. Truly beautiful, amazing value for money, and we would recommend it 100% to anyone visiting the area. Everything was just perfect: from the communication, the warm welcome and the wonderful place itself. We just loved everything about it: The 360-degree-view, the comfy furnitures, the tasteful design. The big trees in the yard hosts some cute birds which gave a paradise-like feeling. Julie gave us some really helpful recommendations which we all tried to. Loved the local restaurants close by. There’s also a big supply close by where we bought everything we needed to make breakfast in the spacy, well-equipped kitchen. Also, there’s a nice French bakery close by. The filtered water as well as the washing machine are a nice addition. We would recommend a rental car to get around as the place is a bit off the main areas. Though if you don’t mind walking, the local beach and the Tamarin beach are within about a 30-minute walk. We hope we can come back some time! Definitely one of our favorite Airbnbs so far!

Great Apartment with lots of space in a nice area with a shared pool at seafront. The host was very kind, helpful and quick in responding. We really had a great stay, enjoyed the refreshing cold tub (not hot), had a nice barbecue and great sunsets at the beachfront area. Definitely recommended Thank you very much

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful apartment! The space is filled with natural light, making it feel airy and welcoming. Waking up here was a such a peaceful experience—it truly felt like a tropical paradise with pool and a view! The apartment itself is modern, well-maintained, and beautifully furnished. The furniture is super tasteful, new, and classy— we loved the fully stocked kitchen. We had so much fun cooking and eating outside on the patio. The location is perfect—just a short distance from all the key landmarks and attractions. We visited Le Morne Brabant, also Black River Gorges National Park is also nearby, we did a lot of hiking and had easy parking too in front of the unit. Tamarin Beach was also easy to get to! This place is truly beautiful and peaceful, and we loved the location. I would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Mauritius. Thanks to the lovely hosts
