We are looking forward to having you back. Of course, a lot has changed in the Ahr valley and there is still a lot to do, but for example the hiking trails are intact and nothing stands in the way of a nature vacation. Note: In addition, the tourist tax (€2.00 per night/per person) must be paid.

Our apartment in the Haus des Kindes Ahrweiler is located in a beautiful old listed building right in the old town of Ahrweiler on the market square. We have been running the children's shop on the first floor of the house for over 100 years. After the flood completely destroyed the first floor, I took the opportunity to prepare the apartments above it and rent them out as a vacation rental. I hope you like it.

Comfortable holiday home in the heart of old town Ahrweiler. Completly remodeled appartment in a landmarked town house of 1765. The station is just about 5 minutes away. This also apllies to the famous "Rotweinwanderweg". For a fast shopping or a cup of coffee you just have to leave the front door. Free WiFi available. It's a quiet place but right in the middle.

We were with Sylvia as a family, as we had a family celebration nearby. The children immediately felt comfortable and used the cherry tree as a climbing oasis. When a hammock was hung, the happiness was even greater. The visit of a cat was also a great highlight.

Just great! The reason for our stay was purely private in nature. The apartment served as a retreat for quite stressful days and this was absolutely great for that. We loved the days at the place. Everything was very clean and really nicely prepared. The accommodation is in a quiet location, overlooking the vineyards and just a few minutes' walk from the red wine trail. The only small note from us is that we would have liked an additional privacy screen from the outside for the shower. We would definitely come back :-).

Perfect! Lovely little house with perfect decor and comfort. Even nicer than the pictures. The area is very pretty, walks in the forest 5 min from the house. And the hosts are more than adorable, we lost a wallet in the forest and Hilla and her husband went to try to find it with their dogs in the forest! Amazing hosts, thank you again:)

We spent a week in Lena's Airbnb and felt very comfortable. We were very warmly welcomed and, despite Lena's absence, as she herself was on vacation, always had a very reliable and nice contact person with her father. The apartment is very tastefully decorated and it has everything you need, even for self-catering the kitchen utensils are there. There's even an extensive DVD and book collection. In the village, there is a bakery, a butcher and a supermarket, few restaurants - we lacked nothing, we were able to relax superbly. The view from the terrace is simply beautiful and places such as Bad Neuenahr and Ahrweiler are easily accessible by car, by bike or on foot. We highly recommend the place and Lena and her family as hosts.
