On a farm but just a few mins off SH1 and from the beach. Simple yet cosy & comfortable and loved by our family. Ideal for time out, wedding accommodation or a stop over. Handy to local wedding venue 4km away. We can do a drop-off to weddings. Just $100 for 1 person, thereafter each person is $45 pp and children $40 (we adjust for you once booked). Prices are intentionally kept low so anyone can come here. No wifi in this building, however, there is from our house and near the building.

Little House at Little Owl Farm, Gore Bay

Situated on a hilltop with magnificent all-round views of North Canterbury farmland, Gore Bay and the distant Kaikoura ranges, this new self-contained house resides on a small scale organic vegetable farm. This characterful and supremely comfortable abode is double-glazed with a plush 3-seater lounge for taking in the views. There is a cook's kitchen, wood burner, stylish bathroom and outside seating on the deck to check out the speccy evening sunsets. It has wifi and all linen provided.

Just 6 km from Oxford, 18 mins from SH 73 and 50 mins from ChCh Airport, this cottage offers a serene retreat. Enjoy panoramic views of Mount Oxford and a brilliant night-time starscape. Nestled on a large, private farm near the foothills, you can unwind in peace and enjoy the company of some adorable animal visitors. On arrival you will find freshly some freshly prepared provisions - probably enough for a little breakfast for two on me for your first morning!
