The property matched the description provided, though the photographs give the impression of a larger space. Nevertheless, it perfectly met our requirements. Chris was exceptionally responsive to our inquiries, addressing various questions we had. The area was clean and filled with ample natural light. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the surrounding land for play, as well as the small game room stocked with toys, which was a welcome respite during a particularly rainy and windy day. The on-site washing machine was available for free use, and the washing line proved to be quite useful. Although the outdoor pool was not heated, it did not deter my children from taking a dip and having fun. I would certainly consider staying at this property again.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Hewas Water House. The house was beautiful and catered for all of our needs for a group of 10 for a family members 70th birthday. The games room provided so much entertainment for all (from 2 to 70 years old) and the hot tub a much needed retreat by the time the kids went to sleep. Communication was great with anything we needed to get in touch for. Would definitely recommend

We stayed for a weekend and it was perfect. A beautiful property in a very quiet and relaxing setting. Hosts provided all of the information we needed. We will certainly return for another visit in future!

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Caroline’s place! We loved the freshly baked scones, clotted cream and jam on arrival. Check in was super easy as the key was just left in the door. Our little boy Myles loved watching the alpacas too! Overall very pleasant and refreshing stay I would recommend!

The house was a lovely, quiet, comfortable, place for my whole family to stay for a long weekend. Well situated and equipped for all of us and contributed to a very pleasant trip.

This was our family’s second stay at what is our favourite spot at Retallack. The lodge, being right on the water, feels peaceful and secluded, but is only a few minutes’ walk to the pool, restaurant and other amenities. Mel is a great host, always replying quickly, and the lodge has everything we needed for our stay. We’d definitely come back again.

What an amazing find! Utterly private and feels very rural. Even though the lovely village of St Agnes and glorious beaches and towns are only a short distance away! Very cosy and eclectic home with some delicious treats and a bottle of fizz left by Kate and Simon. If you do stay, you HAVE TO use Sunny Spice, whether it’s for takeaway or eat in. Best South Indian food and yummy dosas I’ve had outside of London or Kerala! Thank you for making us so welcome and for the brilliant recommendations of places to go and local eateries.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Leafy Vale cottage, Chris & Sarah very friendly hosts and helpful. Location is peaceful with local village walkable within 20 minutes. Local village shop is a must for morning croissants and a coffee. Perranporth beach around 45 minutes walk along a trail away from the main road. Cottage had everything we needed and would highly recommend it to any other couples with a dog.

What a fabulous cottage!! So peaceful and the decor is beautiful. Had such a relaxing break, the garden and tree house were an added bonus, the fairy lights in the conservatory and treehouse are lovely touches. It’s a great base with lots to do around the area. It’s also nice to be out of the hustle and bustle. We would definitely think about coming back it’s beautiful!

An absolute gem! We’ve just returned from Skiber Coth, and it truly is a stunning home. Jeremy was a fantastic host. Friendly, welcoming, and full of helpful information. Check-in was seamless, and the amenities were top notch! It really felt like a home away from home, so peaceful and quiet. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, and we especially loved enjoying breakfast while taking in the gorgeous countryside views. We highly recommend this beautiful stay for anyone visiting Cornwall. It’s just minutes from the A30, making it a perfect base to explore all that Cornwall has to offer. Just returned from a lovely weeks stay at the Gem and everything about it was perfect - fully equipped, spotless + great location. In walking distance to some lovely restaurants in town or Fistral beach and Crantock beach. It is also a great location to explore other costal towns in Cornwall. If you have a paddleboard or Kayak I would recommend taking it as you can walk straight down to the waters edge from the property. Overall this was a 10/10 stay.

The most beautiful getaway. The views over the meadow to the sea and St Michael’s Mount are incredible any time of the day and we loved spending time on the terrace. Perfect location for walking, sea swims and east to get into town and explore the Cornish coast. The decor is also amazing with so much attention to detail. Will be back!

Can’t say how happy we were when we arrived here! Perfect location , great hosts and a spotless, beautifully decorated modern home! Great space for our family to spend some lovely time together, including a fully enclosed garden for our dog to enjoy. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of booking in Perranporth! Everything you need right on your doorstep within a few minutes walking distance! The hosts were incredibly accommodating and kind! Thank you so much Stephen and family we will be back soon xx

Nice quiet getaway, as well as the two beautiful horses that comes to visit you in the morning, house is beautiful and very peaceful surrounding area definitely a nice getaway from city, also quiet a good place to be at for your visitations as for us it was spot on in the middle, thanks Rufus for having us.

Made to feel at home, lots of little extras provided that we didn’t expect - cake, milk, eggs, tea, coffee.

This townhouse was perfect for our long weekend with friends. Christine was very responsive and the whole trip was really smooth from start to finish. The view from the rooftop terrace and rooms was stunning too, and there were even some snacks for us to have when we arrived. Would definitely recommend this place!

Staying at Camilla's home in Mousehole was an absolute joy. The house is beautiful, very well equipped, stylish and comfortable and, situated at the top end of the town, the sea views from every single window are simply stunning, it was amazing! Camilla left a welcome pack of a few essentials that was very welcome, was always responsive and helpful and check in and out were very easy. We parked on a road at the top of the town and carried our luggage down to avoid taking the car through the narrow streets, an option if you're happy with the walk back up the hill to the car. We had visited Mousehole on a daytrip before, but staying in the town was a really special experience. We definitely hope to return.

Beautiful place! Would 100% stay again! We requested decorations to be put up for arrival as it was my mams 50th birthday. We sent decorations but they weren’t put up when we arrived. We spoke with Malcolm about this and he came straight over the next morning to do this while we were out and left some beautiful cupcakes, helped us rectify the heating as it was very hot, and was available at all times when we needed! Beautiful place! Very local to lots of shops and very close to the train station: beautiful views!

My husband, myself and our dog had a fantastic holiday staying at Thimble Cottage. The cottage is beautiful with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. Its location is perfect for local walks and exploring and there is a lovely pub two doors down with extremely friendly staff and good food. Places like St Ives were just a short drive away. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring such a beautiful part of Cornwall and would happily stay here again.

This property was an absolute gem! Location near the beach and pubs was amazing and Holywell is stunning. Facilities within the house were spot on, everything you could need and more! The BBQ and garden area with the hot tub were fantastic and everything was spotlessly clean. In short an absolutely fabulous Air BnB experience and we would definitely book again. Just fabulous! Beautiful lodge with artful decoration & dressing, plus a breathtaking view out over the river, day & night. Really well equipped modern kitchen & bathroom, ample power points, soft & bright lighting to suit your mood, comfy bed & pillows, comfy seating both indoors & on the patio. Claire has thought of everything you could possibly need to make your stay perfect!

Lovely, relaxing stay in a beautiful, comfortable house. Fantastic views over the estuary, which we enjoyed whilst having breakfast on the balcony. As expected for hilly Fowey, the walk back up from town is fairly steep, but still doable for the oldest member of our party. Although there is no parking outside the house, you can park to unload and load, then park in the car park, a short walk up the hill. It's cheaper to pay for the week's parking, rather than pay each day. In all a very enjoyable stay and we'd be delighted to re-visit if we didn't live so far away (in Scotland)
