Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Goodrington Sands

The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the whole area. Helen was flexible with arrival and check in which made the holiday less stressful with small kids! Brixham is a lovely town to stay. The site would benefit from the new clubhouse pool & bar which was opening imminently, which we missed.

Really loved our stay in the cottage. It's beautiful, comfortable and clean. Had everything required. Caron has great communication and told me everything I needed regarding location, parking and access. And on hand to answer a few smaller questions to! Loved the stay and very much recommend!

The pictures don't do justice to the property. Is better than it looks. Spacious rooms, confy beds , cosy furniture, friendly host ...all reviews are spot-on . Is not possible to give more than 5 stars ✨️. There is remote controlled canopy which we used it (was warm but raining for 30 min )and enjoyed the whole afternoon without issues and I am underlining that because U can see it in the picture but there is a table with umbrella and won't pay attention to the rest(when got there found upgraded table ,bigger, square with gravity chairs) No words...we felt straight away like home. Thank you Stephen.

This was our second time staying so felt home from home. Beautiful, clean and peaceful cottage in a great location! Loved it and will be back.

A delightful secluded residence facing out over farmland. Although there is a farm and there are homes in converted farm buildings close by, you would hardly know they were there; the property has a separate entrance to the main farm that it shares with one other dwelling, which again you would hardly know was there. The property is as described and well equipped. Although the garden is very small, this is not really a problem with so much open countryside on the doorstep. Rich George was very helpful, responding quickly to our queries before arrival and welcoming us warmly with helpful advice when we got there but otherwise leaving us to enjoy our holiday. The climbing roses surrounding the decked area were divine. We can recommend North Sands beach as a paradise for dogs if they like the water; our visit was in early June and, on all but one occasion, we managed to park in one of the four road side parking spaces at the top of the beach (free for 2 hours) rather than pay to use

Splendour House was just what we expected for an extended family holiday in Paignton. All facilities were available which was good as the weather was not what we’d hoped for. Tom is a great host and would recommend Splendour House to large families for its location and enclosed back garden. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Tom & Co.

Stuart and hollys place was everything you could ask for in a holiday home. We had a meet and greet with stuart. There is a huge helpful information pack in the accommodation waiting for you. Which basically covers everything. Plus stuart was on hand with anything else we needed to know. We wouldn't hesitate in booking to return again next season. Off road parking was very good.

Such a great place to stay. It is spotless and Jaquine has thought of everything that you might need from a bottle of fizz to salt and pepper etc. Such a short walk to the beach and famous fish and chips. The scenery is stunning and the location is quiet and relaxing. Fantastic to visit many places of interest nearby.

This has to be the best ever beachfront apartment we have stayed in. Spectacular views, spacious balcony, superbly equipped and everything worked without any hassle. The Leisure Club is an added bonus for me - brilliant pool, fitness equipment and the jacuzzi plus the outdoor terrace and restaurant with great meals, especially the (takeaway available too) fish and chips. The purpose of this trip was a holiday for my 94 year old Mother - above all the apartment was very safe/secure, accessible, the few steps to the 1st floor are manageable and the lift means getting into the apartment is easy. Totally recommend this apartment!

Myself, my husband and our little boy stayed last week and what can we say. We were blown away! Kate and Kieron are amazing! The apartment was beautiful, so well kept, clean and tidy. There was an information pack when we arrived with bits to do, housekeeping bits, even takeaway places! There was a welcome basket for us with fresh fruit, crisps, cookies and a lovely card. Kate had even went above and beyond and left a card, beer and chocolate for my husband for his birthday! The communication throughout the trip was amazing, we felt so welcome. We felt very safe staying there which was a big one for us having a little boy. Kate had made sure that she had put a basket of toys in the apartment for our little boy too. We could not have asked for a better host. The directions of how to get there and how to check in were brilliant! If you are looking for somewhere in Torquay I would highly recommend here, don’t go anywhere else!! We will definitely be back!!

We had a lovely stay, the flat was clean and comfortable with all the amenities that we could require during our short stay. Amy was a lovely host, communicating quickly via Airbnb and left a good selection of info about the flat and surrounding area. There was adequate parking for the car and we were able to park up for a couple of days and enjoy what Totness had to offer. The town centre was a walkable distance, though up hill on the return. We found good cafes and take-aways for eating and lovely shops for browsing in. We enjoyed trips to both the Castle and the Steam Railway. We hope to stay again in the future.

We had a great stay, apartment was perfect. Location was right on the harbour with beautiful views. Spacious, clean, bright and airy. Loads to do in the local area. We parked in a road around 6 minutes walk away and didnt use the car once during our stay. we walked, caught local buses and ferrys. Would recommend the apartment and definitely use again. Area is fairly hilly so would not recommend for anyone who is less mobile

We had a wonderful break. The apartment was bright, spotless, beautifully furnished. Everything you need essentials-wise is provided. The balcony view is outstanding. Cantina is a must for a lovely meal. A truly fab holiday - thank you

Rockpool is a wonderful place to stay! Kay is a friendly, helpful and generous host. We appreciated the lovely treats left in the fridge for us. The location is peaceful and quiet and the accommodation is comfortable, very clean and well equipped.

Amazing stay at this lovely flat right across from The beach with sea views. The home is super quiet and the tub was amazing to relax after walking around the town. Very close to delicious restaurants like Lobster Longue. The host was so responsive and gave amazing local recommendations for food. And it’s a short 10min walk from the train station if you’re traveling in by. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Probably one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve stayed in. Set in a beautiful location and exactly as photos portray it. Great attention has been paid to making it as comfortable as possible. Hosts were very welcoming and welcome pack was much appreciated. We would thoroughly recommend and hope to return.

Nice little apartment in a perfect location. Short walk to a beautiful harbour with plenty of bars/restaurants. Apartment itself was clean and tidy, with nice seating area in the courtyard

Lovely weekend stay at The Snug. Everything we needed was provided, felt like home from home. Great location, 10 mins gentle walk to the harbour. Parking not a problem. Bed super comfy. We would highly recommend a staying here for either a short stay or long one. Close to the harbour and you don't need a car to get around the town. The cottage is so cosy and comfortable and you have everything you need here. Rebecca is an awesome host and responded to any questions very quickly. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. A beautiful ground floor apartment in a great location for the sea and local amenities. Everything was presented beautifully and everything you could need was supplied. Karen was always quick to respond to any message. We would be very happy to stay again - certainly one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed at.

PLEASE DO NOT SCROLL PAST. This place may not be the typical Airbnb because it doesn’t have a lounge or kitchen but it was perfect for us, our 3 kids and small dog. Firstly Sophie was incredibly responsive to any question I had before arriving but on arrival, wow. The fridge full of lovely biscuits, milk (which you can select the type prior to arrival) and bottled water. There was a fully stocked coffee machine and cereals for breakfast. The lovely linen and towels were an added bonus and the toiletries smelled divine. After a long drive to get there, Sophie was quick to suggest letting our dog walk in her perfectly manicured garden to stretch her legs. Honestly Sophie’s place was so comfortable, so clean and perfectly located we will definitely be back. Didn’t want to leave a good review because I want to be able to book again but I simply cannot recommend this place highly enough. Thank you so much for having us.
