Lake house holiday rentals in Golden Point

A clean and well presented Airbnb with lots of space for a large group of guests. The bedrooms were well presented and the bathrooms were all modern and clean too. The kids loved the theatre room, the teenage retreat and the barn. Thank you for a great stay.

Great retro vibe, first time I've seen a rotary phone in a long while. Both furniture and beds were really comfortable. Definitely a home away from home. Also all heaters worked very well, so cosy. Kathy is very friendly and so quick to respond with any questions I had. Highly recommend.

Lovely rustic renovation, very sympathetic to the bakery it once was. Huge rear open deck for looking at the sky during the day, and the stars at night. Very well-equipped kitchen, with real wine glasses (rare!). Spacious and comfortable lounge, completely separate from the kitchen/dining area. The house is located on the main road, but noise from passing traffic was minimal. Learmonth is a friendly, historic and pretty town.

Had a lovely stay with friends. The house is lovely, and the lounge room heater works a treat. The only bump was that the place was a little hard to find given that the address provided was only a GPS location and not the actual address. Check-in was smooth once we found the place.

This is a beautiful house in the peaceful neighbourhood that has a close proximity to all you need in Daylesford e.g. supermarket and town area. We highly recommended! Andrew is also proactive and provided a clear instructions and communication for our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Newman House. Perfectly located so close to town and so cosy and quaint. We really appreciated the attention to detail in creating a warm and interesting vibe. The daybed is the perfect place to snuggle with a book and we appreciated multiple bathrooms and the lovely eat in kitchen. Thank you so much!

We had a lovely stay - the view was beautiful. The place itself was as described, tiny! The surroundings were pretty especially during sunrise and sunset. Only downfall is you have to pay $25 for timber to start the fire.

From the moment we walked through the gate and the manicured garden and entered the house we felt right at home. Inside was tastefully decorated and felt very luxurious. The home is warm and spacious and the wood heater in the lounge was a delight to have on the cold Daylesford nights. The house is located in a very quiet street and there is plenty of privacy whether you’re inside or outside enjoying the fire pit or patio. Unfortunately the hot tub was out of action but our host communicated openly and clearly about it and kept us informed of progress to rectify it. When it wasn’t able to be up and running while we were there an appropriate refund was applied. We highly recommend a stay at Greenleaf and appreciated the peace and tranquility of the home and great host who was friendly and very responsive.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful, cosy house. It had all the comforts of home, in a great location close to the lake. The beds were so warm and comfortable, the flannel sheets and the heater on for our arrival were such a lovely touch for a very cold Ballarat weekend! Thank you xx

Beautiful home, full of character, right in the centre of Ballarat. Was the perfect place to stay for the Marathon festival. Linda was a kind and responsive host, and very understanding despite the fact we accidentally stole her keys on our departure!

A very lovely place to stay Plenty of room we had a group of 6 of us all stay there and it never felt cramped The place is well stocked and had everything we needed to cook and hang out.
