Schlamping is the new glamping at Godwick Hall. We have three Shepherd Huts tucked into a small glade behind Godwick Hall, each boasting unspoilt views. Close to nature, rustic but with modern ensuite facilities, these are cute and cool.
“The shepherds huts at Godwick Hall were gorgeous. My husband is 6ft3 and there was no issue with head height and generally, they were more spacious than they looked in photos. The view out of the shepherds hut is gorgeous and there’s a lovely little table and chairs for meals and coffees. The wood burner was v cosy and the sheets were very high quality. 10/10 would recommend.”
Our luxury 24 foot brand new hut has arrived, walk around king size bed, underfloor heating, two tv's, Alexa, Netflix, granite worktops, full sized fridge, en suite shower room, wood burner. Exclusive use of hot tub with multi coloured lights at night high powered jets adjustable.
“Such a beautiful and perfect stay with more than we could possibly want. David and Lorna were both fantastic and at hand at any point with helpful info and left so many personal touches it really made it homely and festive with Christmas trees and card and fresh cake which is always a win in my eyes and much more than we would have expected. I can’t recommend this place enough.”
Old Beans Cottage is an 18th century former washhouse which has been beautifully converted into a studio cottage and furnished to an exceptional standard. This boutique cottage is located in East Barsham, a small village nestling in quiet, rolling countryside less than 3 miles from the market town of Fakenham, with excellent access to the North Norfolk Coast at Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham. The area is renowned for its bird watching opportunities with Cley and Titchwell within easy reach.
“Perfect little cottage with amazing views, quiet spot with privacy but only a 4 min walk to the local pub/restaurant if wanted. House was spotlessly clean, had everything needed to enjoy your stay ... great shower & comfortable bed, also lovely and warm. Thoughtful touches of a bottle of Prosecco (thank you!), biscuits and fresh flowers were a lovely additional bonus. Thank you Martin for a lovely stay over New Year, we will definitely recommend this place”
