Family-friendly holiday rentals in Glenelg North

We came down from Queensland to get married on Aldinga beach!! This space had the space we needed while feeling private and close to the beach and restaurants. Our two dogs loved the back yard and getting warm by the fire. The hosts were always quick to respond and very helpful. We loved our stay!! Telitha, Nick + Roo and Lilly (our dogs)

This was my second time staying at Cathy’s place, and once again, it was a great experience. The apartment is in a very convenient location — just a short walk to Chinatown, with easy access to shops and restaurants. Cathy is a wonderful host; communication was smooth and she responded quickly to any questions or requests. The check-in process was easy, and the apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a short or extended stay. I really appreciated the thoughtful touches that made the space feel welcoming. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Trudi’s place is the perfect city HQ for events at the Adelaide Convention Center across the street. We could walk and catch the free tram to the South Australian Museum, Adelaide Botanic Garden, Adelaide Central Market, great restaurants, and more. It was wonderful to have a full kitchen, laundry, and beautiful space to return to each evening. It is well thought out and very clean, and Trudi is so friendly, responsive, and welcoming. We highly recommend!

Madeleine’s place was clean, neat and comfortable. She was very responsive and helpful prior and during our stay. Our toddler had a great time and the cot and high chair were extremely helpful and allowed us to pack lighter!

I booked this accommodation for my mum for her 70th Birthday gift. My mum was very happy with the attention to detail and how homely the place felt.

Lisa’s place was perfect for our family of 4 getaway. Located right on the beach with gorgeous views of the sunset and 10 minutes drive to the McLaren Vale winery. The beds were really comfy and the living room spacious. Lisa was a perfect host

We booked Kingfisher Creek for my birthday as a mums retreat. We instantly felt relaxed and within a few hours already planning our next stay. Eleonora was everything we could ask for as a host - polite and helpful. She even turned the heaters on so we would come into a warm space. Thankyou we will be back!

Jackie's property was an ideal home away from home. Clean, welcoming, a fabulous outdoor space for humans and fur kids, walking distance from the beach and minutes from local shops. We enjoyed our stay and would happily return again!

Only at Marianne's for 2 nights. Was perfect for what we needed. It is on the lower floor of a 2 storey home. Mariannes instructions on how to get there and what to do with lockbox, parking was spot on. Shower had great pressure, wifi easy to access. Didn't use pillows as we take our own. Easy walk to beach with stairs to go down. Close to restaurants and supermarkets. When you are there go to Pitstop Italian Truck up the road. Delicious pasta. Loved that just up the road we could drive our car onto the beach. Only issue I had, and it's my problem not Mariannes was that I unlocked the windows to open them, love fresh air, and when I went to lock them again I found it a bit tricky to do. Lucky I have a handy husband and he worked it out. Also the fridge is in the lounge, not that that's an issue but found that a strange. Overall, great experience, would stay again.

Beautiful studio space overlooking McLaren Vale. Cozy but tastefully decorated and with lots of artworks and quirky things to discover (such as the vinyl collection)! Plenty of wineries right on your doorstep too if you're so inclined...

What an ideal little spot! Sarah was lovely and welcoming. The property was everything we expected and more, the animals are beautiful, and truly gave us more than just a getaway, they gave an experience. We will be back, thank you Sarah.

A great place to stay for a family. The hosts provided a portacot which was a really good one since usually the ones provided can be flimsy. The kitchen had everything we needed. Quiet street and car park in the driveway. Easy self-check in instructions and responsive to communications during stay. Heating very effective for colder days. Be aware of the unlocked glass cabinets with delicate items if you have little curious people, but there is plenty of space for them to play, including a small courtyard and short walk to a playground. 10 minutes to Walkerville shops and access to buses directly to the CBD. 20 minute drive to Tea Tree Plaza so great location overall.

We had an awesome time with our family and dogs at Julie’s place over the long weekend! This home was beautifully decorated, furnished, and was a short 10min walk from the beach front. We highly recommend this place if you want a nice getaway by the beach! Thank you, Julie we will come back. ☺️

I’m a regular user of AirBnB when I travel, and this place is easily rated in my top selection! Easy to access the property - great instructions on the how and what. I was staying with my mother - the double room + single bed/office was perfect - very comfortable. As a couple, I could easily imagine staying here myself for longer and working remotely with the office set-up. The decor/interior matches the photos - the property feels even bigger in reality. Functionally - everything was perfect, fantastic coffee machine (there are two coffee shops literally within 1 min walk from the front door) Location - fabulous. If you like to run/walk- you’re 10mins away from the beautiful Victoria park, which features endless space and wetlands area. Norwood is a gorgeous historic area, with tree-lined streets and historic homes. The bus is 450m away, and supermarkets 10mins walk. Thanks so much Barbara for a wonderful stay!! Would absolutely stay again!!

We had a quiet and comfortable night. The host was very warm and polite! The room was beautifully designed and very cozy. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. We’d love to come back if we have the chance.

We had a great stay at Tim and Karen’s - the guest space is private, easy to access and very spacious. Location is a beautiful suburb just outside of the CBD area with easy access into the city. Would 100% recommend!

Our group had a fantastic stay. We enjoyed the pool and use of the projector. We enjoyed the space greatly and highly recommend to all. All communication was greatly appreciated. Thank you for having us. We would love to return again.

We chose this property based on its location, size and the fact it had a large pool for the kids – it did not disappoint on any of these. Location was great for us, albeit a little further out of the city but our priority was to be close to the beach and as it was only one block away, it was perfect. The property is about a 15min walk from Semaphore centre which has plenty of amenities, small supermarket, restaurants and shops and with Henley beach less than a 10 minute drive away, there are plenty of options. The property has lots of space, the four bedrooms were a good size. The living areas were substantial as were the outdoor areas. The property would benefit from some cosmetic work, some paint was peeling off in some areas but this did not detract in any way from our stay. We would certainly stay at this property again. A big thank you to our hosts ☺️

Our wedding party stayed at Three Hills the night before our wedding. The hosts were so responsive and helpful, with lots of thoughtful gifts and supplies for us throughout the house. Lynn and Stefan were super helpful when one of our group accidentally locked themselves out and got the house open for them in no time. The house was immaculate, with lots of natural light and space. It was perfect for getting wedding ready and the views offered great photo locations. it was an incredible space and we will definitely be returning for future visits.

Great location, this apartment is a block away from Rundle Mall so getting supplies was easy to do. The host was very responsive and the check-in instructions were very straightforward.

Thea provided a very comfortable place to stay with everything I needed, I felt very much at home. Tucked away in a quiet street, it was lovely to hear birds instead of passing traffic. Yet it was close to everything including a short walk to the beach. I particularly enjoyed sitting out on the balcony soaking up the sun and fresh air. A bonus was the off street covered parking.
