Beachfront holiday rentals in Glenelg

Had a great little stay here! Super close to the beach which was nice to enjoy on our morning walks. McLaren Vale on your doorstep and only a short drive to Adelaide. Would recommend for a relaxing stay in South Australia.

This was our second visit at Sally’s place. A very peaceful location with an easy walk to the beach. Bakery, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets are within walking distance. Instructions are clear and getting in with the key lock box is easy. Very happy with our choice and would recommend.

Great place to Stay in West Lakes SA. Great spot across from the Golf Club and private and peaceful. Great access to the Lake and the house has great facilities and is extremely clean. Great proactive hosts and the entry system is easy to use Would highly recommend

This place was a wonderful retreat. A large home with very big rooms but comfortable and welcoming. A little tricky at times with one bathroom but the surroundings and being adjacent to the beach made even that seem like the holiday houses of old. Such a great spot - we would love to return in warmer weather when we can spend more time on the front deck. Beautiful

We had a very pleasant stay … Adam had a well stocked pantry and fridge . We didn’t indulge , but he was generous in his offer . Happy to visit again . A short walk to the beach - just perfect .

First time staying at this property, but like other properties of Lucy’s they are managed extremely well. We look at availability of Lucy’s before other AirBNBs. Stunning views, amazing location and dog friendly for the fur baby. Beautiful property which we would happily stay at again. Hosts are very responsive and thoughtful leaving basic groceries for our arrival.

Great place on the beach. Everything was tidy and well organized! We even played a round of ping pong. A perfect location!

We had an amazing time at Jo's house. Jo has thought of everything needed for a home away from home. House was spotless and well stocked with condiments, tea, coffee and every cooking item you'll ever need. Pool and covered outdoor area, with gas BBQ was great. Lovely position on the esplanade, coffee shops, pubs and playgrounds in walking distance. Supermarkets short drive away. Our family of 7 adults and 2 children (3 & 5) had ample space and bedrooms, with tvs and games provided. Lovely welcome pack and early and late check in were offered. I certainly recommend Jo's place and hope to return. Thanks so much Jo for helping make our family 60th birthday and 35th wedding anniversary holiday amazing.

This penthouse apartment has a fantastic view of Glenelg beach and one of the best places to watch a sunset from one of the two private balconies. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable. It is literally right on the beach and next to central Glenelg. My family loved staying here. Highly recommended.

Very conveniently located, next to tramline and Ocean. Extensive accommodation with great showers. Provided exactly what we needed for family accommodation. John was extremely helpful and communication was excellent.

Tabatha was an excellent host. We had a bit of an issue in check in but she responded exceptionally well and no ask was too much. Sometimes issues happen for guests that some owners struggle to deal with but her willingness to accolade and address the issue was amazing! Once settled in the place was really great. Have stayed at the same building in the "hotel" side but my recommendation is don't waste your time. This place is much better and head and shoulders over then hotel option in the same building Consider here for a relaxed stay.

Mara was really helpful and friendly. Communicated well and even allowed us an early check in due to an event starting around normal check in time. Communal sauna and pool in the building was a nice plus.

The location was perfect! The view was so lovely. Walking distance to everything we needed. The unit was lovely and clean. Bedrooms could maybe do with fans as it did get hot during the night. Would definitely stay again when I next visit Glenelg

This house is amazing!! Beautiful views straight onto the ocean and lots of space in a great house. A short walk down the esplanade to the main part of Glenelg, a perfect location. Chris was a great host who was very accessible when required. Will definitely be back!!

Chad was a very good host, even offered us early check-in and allowed us to add an additional day after initial booking. The apartment is in a lovely, small, older complex that is kept immaculately. The permanent residents are friendly and helpful. The apartment is lovely with the most spacious and comfortable green velveteen lounge, the best feature in the apartment in my opinion. A comfortable place to sit is quite often underrated by some hosts. The bed is luxurious in white cotton, lots of pillows and a thick and warm doona. The bathroom is practical and well thought out with a large glass-walled shower and double shower heads (one which can be hand-held). Being a cook, the kitchen was most important for me. It was beautifully designed kitchen with some very nice Breville appliances, quality cookware and a nicely stocked pantry. One thing that I would add to the utensil drawer would be a knife sharpener or at least a steel. Only a small issue. All in all, a wonderful place!

We loved staying at Susan’s place. Susan’s instructions to get inside were easy to follow, & she got back to us quickly if we had a question. The unit had very comfortable couches & bed, we felt very relaxed there. It was lovely sitting outside in the garden with the sun shining on us. We love the Semaphore area. It’s a short walk from the house to nice specialty shops, restaurants & cafe’s. It’s not very busy there either. We loved our stay & will visit again.

Wonderful. Stylish, clean but comfortable and very well equipped. That location is everything we had hoped it would be and more - Wow! Wouldn’t hesitate to go back and recommend to others.

Sandy's place was very warm and inviting. The location was excellent with a lot to do and everything was pretty much at your doorstep. Communicating with Sandy was excellent and she was very friendly and helpful. Thanks again Sandy 🙂

Stayed at Dan’s place in Glenelg recently. It was a pleasure. The unit is extremely well placed in Glenelg and a short walk to all the things you need and want. The premises were very clean, Dan was very obliging and when I’m next going to Glenelg I will not hesitate to try and get accommodated at Dan’s unit.

Danielle’s place exceeded all expectations—it was even better than the photos! We initially booked for 3 nights but loved it so much, we extended our stay by 2 more. The unit is literally beachfront; you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves. It’s in a perfect, walkable location with easy access to everything. We took the tram from Jetty Road in Glenelg to the Adelaide CBD almost daily and joined wine tours that picked us up right in Glenelg. Danielle thoughtfully provided milk and coffee, and the espresso machine was a great touch. She was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Truly one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had!
