My favourite place on Earth 😊 While it’s close enough to Dublin, it’s so private and peaceful it feels like you are completely away from civilisation in the most positive way. The surrounding are absolutely stunning, and there is a lot of sightseeing nearby. This place is just perfect for disconnecting from the busy city life. And lastly, Richard and Ben are fantastic hosts, very friendly, responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back here myself 💚

We stayed at Hazel’s place for a weekend and it was absolutely beautiful and stunning. If you are looking for a peaceful oasis this is the place to stay. Hazel is also a great host and very responsive. I would highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at Rock Farm Slane! The place is so peaceful, surrounded by nature, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Our dog, Zoe, had the best time exploring the wide, walkable spaces and taking in the beautiful sights. The atmosphere is serene, and it’s a wonderful spot to relax and unwind. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a tranquil getaway—especially for those with pets who love the outdoors! We’ll definitely be back.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had an absolutely wonderful 2 nights in Caroline's place. The surroundings were idyllic, the place itself was clean and tidy and its one of the most comfortable bed we've slept in! The location is in the beautiful countryside and only 5 mins from Thomastown by car - Caroline arranged a taxi for us to the train station one on day so that we could go to Kilkenny for the day, which is only 15 mins by train. Caroline herself was super responsive and so friendly, she had the hot tub heated and ready for us on both evenings which was above and beyond! Arthur was part of the welcoming committee and a bundle of fun! Would 100% recommend!

Our stay with Margaret on the farm was absolutely fantastic. The location and the views from the house are amazing with some great fishing on the grand canal only 2 minutes away. A great place for walking and cycling with excellent access and parking along it. There are some great places to eat in the nearby towns 20 minutes away. Margaret is wonderful at making you feel welcome and comfortable.

The cottage is an amazing getaway, a good digital detox in lovely surroundings with Alpacas for company. Paul was the perfect host throughout. We travelled with our pet dog too. The cottage is very well finished with all conveniences. The nearest supermarket is 10mins drive and we cooked in the cottage both nights. We wanted the two nights as a nice relaxing break. We did some hillwalking in the Slieve Bloom Mountains nearby. Highly recommend for a relaxing break away

We had a great time in Dublin Omar was an excellent host and provided timely and accurate information throughout the stay. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the apartment but the beds were very comfy after a busy day out.

Daniel made us feel right at home. Recommend great food spots and markets close by. Was always available when needing anything. He was a superb host and would definitely stay again.

A beautifully and extremely well equipped home that was a perfect base for us to explore the region. The elegantly designed cottage was comfortable and spotlessly clean and the private enclosed back garden was the icing on the cake with the beautiful sunshine and our dog who could potter about freely. Celine as a host was extremely friendly in her interactions and was very responsive to all messages. I have no qualms about recommending this listing to others.

We enjoyed talking with Lucia and Wally. Extremely nice people. The place had the most beautiful views. We finally got to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We recommend fish and chips at the Dinky take out in Court town. Wally suggested and the meal was delicious.

Sean was a wonderful host. His apartment is a great location in the heart of Temple Bar. We loved the Stagedoor Café & the waiter Graham right next-door and went every morning we were there. Some people mentioned noise, but we use a sound machine app and didn’t hear a thing.

What a wonderful place to stay. John was very attentive and met us on arrival. The house was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. Easy walking distance to all the central attractions. We will def be coming back.

Ronan’s place was great for our little family. The place was cozy but had everything we needed. Coffee and tea supplies were all available and easy to use. The upstairs bathroom proved to be much better for showers, but both bathrooms were usable. He even left out a nice large umbrella which came in super handy on a rainy day during which we had a scheduled walking tour of Dublin. There were places to eat and drink nearby, and it was close to bus stops. Great value and a great stay! Thanks Ronan!

Great flat, perfectly located. Very easy walk to the city centre, trinity college, Pearse train station. Lively neighbourhood with many cafés, pubs or restaurants.

You would be hard-pressed to find a better location in Dublin, we were able to walk to pretty much anything that we wanted to do or see in Dublin. Close to Temple bar with lots of great bars and restaurants. And even though it is busy outside, Paul’s apartment was peaceful and quiet. I would like to extend my sincerest thank you to Paul and Marcel who were incredibly patient and helpful when we accidentally locked ourselves out. Traveling with two children and locking ourselves out caused us a lot of stress but we were back in the apartment in no time at all. Thank you Paul and Marcel! Do not hesitate to stay here, you will be happy you did.

Cannot say enough nice things about Denise and her property! Only stayed one night on my way back to the airport at the end of a trip but wish I could have enjoyed it longer as it was my favorite lodging of my trip. The guest house was much more spacious than the photos make it look - and absolutely lovely. Spotless top to bottom with lots of little touches and thoughtful extras. Bed was very comfy (and as the kind of traveler who always checks mattresses …. Also spotless!) Convenient to Dublin and the airport, but in a quiet area. Denise was very responsive and friendly, including offering some local recommendations - highly recommend a stay here if you’re in the area!

We loved our stay at Ian's. He came over and met us at check in, and was just fabulous to talk with. Very helpful and personable. Ian's place felt like a comfortable home and made us feel relaxed from the moment we arrived. Good location, walkable to Temple Bar or a short Uber ride. Book without a second thought!

Peter was responsive to all our questions and a great host. Please bear in mind. This Airbnb is situated on the DART rail line. and you can hear the train pass each time north and south directions.. The Airbnb is essentially located, and as the Sunnymount train station is literally a woman at walk from the front door access to all parts of the coastline north and south of the city are readily available
