Only 15 mins with a car from Ålesund city and the nearest airport, but is still a place that gives peace of mind. Outside the garden there are cultivated fields with grazing animals in late summer. The island of Giske itself is a gem with a medieval marble church, beaches, untouched nature and birdlife. The island once housed Norway's most powerful noble family, the Arnungs and is mentioned in the Snorre saga.

Grimmerhaugen has a great park with a unique view of the city, and opportunities to use this as an outdoor area. The apartment has a large bedroom with a double bed. If needed, there is also an inflatable single bed and a travel bed for children. It has cromecast tv and wi-fi, and fully equipped kitchen. Parking between 16-08.00 in the city streets is free. Parking garage right in the neighborhood.

Vogna is idyllically located with good views. 10 minutes by car from Ålesund city center, about 20 by bus. 1/2 minute to the fjord where sea water can rent a rowboat by agreement. Within walking distance you have Atlanterhavsparken, Tueneset with beach, trails, gaps and fire pit as well as bunkers from World War II. You can walk up to Sugarloaf from here.
