Sarah's cottage in the middle of the vineyard was a great place to stay. It is peaceful and the scenery was beautiful, while being convenient to many areas in the Bordeaux region. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Sarah and her apprentice, Samuel, were very friendly and accommodating. The wine tasting and tour were really interesting. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely home and perfect for the four of us. Very close to town and very quiet. Easy access to wonderful restaurants. The check in was great and cannot thank them for also taking my niece to Station as we had to leave before her. Parking is not for feint hearted but good. If you cannot face the reverse then easy to park on road heading out towards station. Would stay again. Thanks

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Petit Cinq Ruffe. Caroline and Paul were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The property was lovely and met all our needs. The location was very rural and quiet; exactly what we had hoped for. The welcome included a lovely platter of local produce and delicious wine. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We would not hesitate to highly recommend this property.

Super logement très confortables au calme La maison et le jardin sont magnifiques Remi et sa femme ont été très accueillants On a passé un super week end c’était génial ! Portets est un village très mignon entouré de vignes à 30 min de bordeaux c’était top ! Merci

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par nos hôtes avec de bonnes recommandations d’activités à faire aux alentours. Le jardin, la piscine et le ‘pool house’ sont partagés avec un autre logement, mais dans les faits nous avons fait en sorte de ne pas se croiser donc ce n’est pas vraiment un problème. Les espaces privés sont parfaits pour un bon séjour dans la tranquillité à deux. Le petit déjeuné est excellent. Nous recommandons ce logement, avec un petit + si vous venez à deux couples. Merci!

Maison très agréable dans un environnement calme et verdoyant. Toutes les pièces ont été admirablement rénovées et décorées, ce qui rend la maison à la fois belle et pratique pour un séjour entre amis ou en famille. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la qualité des lits, l’équipement de la cuisine et l’extérieur (jardin et piscine).

Quand on ouvre la porte ,on découvre la beauté des lieux . Très bien décoré,dans les moindres détails. Tout le nécessaire mis à disposition Belle terrasse Climatisation Bonne literie dans la chambre et le BZ dans le salon Bref nous sommes ravis d’avoir passé 1 nuit dans ce bel hébergement .

Michael est un hôte très accueillant, ses conseils judicieux. Le chalet est coquet, chaleureux et bien équipé avec un joli jardin. Propreté irréprochable et une très bonne literie. Possibilités de balades vers le lac à pied ou en vélo depuis le chalet. Parfait pour découvrir la région.

Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis à notre arrivée, avec la proposition d’office de quitter un peu plus tard le logement que prévu car non loué le lendemain (je le précise car c’est super agréable et ça nous a beaucoup dépanné!). Le logement est impeccable, une literie royale et très confortable qui nous a fait regretter de ne pas rester plus longtemps. Tout le nécessaire est fourni dans la maison, vous n’avez qu’à poser vos valises. A l’extérieur, un immense jardin et une très belle piscine à disposition, qui sont plus qu’appréciables le matin au réveil. Encore un immense merci pour votre accueil, vous méritez vos nombreux avis très positifs ! Une belle adresse à retenir et un gite dans lequel vous pouvez aller les yeux fermés.

We had the best week in this beautiful house. The outlook and the facilities were perfect and Lili was a fantastic host. Would recommend.

Il airbnb è come un bel momento sospenso dentro un piccolo paradiso... dentro un bel edificio ristrutturato da Jean-Charles con un senso di rispetto della storia del luogo e di maniera tra tradizione e modernità, in mezzo la natura. Siamo stati tanto bene !

I highly recommend if you need to stay nearby, choose this house. It is beautiful, peaceful and located in absolute serenity!

It is a nice apartment, we enjoy the staying, it is half an hour to go to the city center by car.

We stayed for 1 week in this beautiful Gite with everything available from crockery to towels. There is a pool on site which is secluded and only for use by the people staying in the Gites. The location is very good for getting to surrounding villages by car or bike. There is a hiking/biking circuit. Bordeaux is 45 min drive away. Bergerac is about a hour away. We had a lovely relaxing time there, so quiet, the sound of birds in the morning is so lovely to hear. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Le gîte est très agréable, fidèle aux photos et le jacuzzi très appréciable. Céline est très sympathique. L'endroit est paisible et très calme. Le seul petit défaut s'il en fallait un est pour nous le faite de devoir faire pas mal de route pour certains lieux à visiter (nous avons une petite fille de 8 mois).

Our family of two adults and a 7 year old had a great three-night stay at Paul and Melanie’s very clean and welcoming apartment. The kitchen was well appointed and the beds were comfortable. Although outside the city, we were able to easily get around Bordeaux using a combination of bus and tram. I would recommend the property to anyone who wants to explore Bordeaux but end the day with quiet evenings.

Posto incantevole in mezzo alla natura. Con piscina e bella terrazza. Per quanto riguarda l’accessibilità è necessario spostarsi in auto e per due notti non c’erano lenzuola e asciugamani ma era tutto indicato nell’annuncio. Our stay here was wonderful. The house is roomy, nicely decorated and quite new. There is a very large laundry with washing machine and drying racks (no dryer), a large kitchen and meals area, two large bedrooms and a large outdoor area. The air conditioning is efficient and there is another air conditioning unit in the loft bedroom. The bedrooms have shutters to keep out the light and the beds and pillows are comfy. The TV is a smart TV and there are wineries everywhere in the area. As others have mentioned, there isn’t a toilet in the upstairs bathroom. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are narrow and steep and this may pose a problem if you need a toilet in the middle of the night. Also, as the apartment is a little remote and has numerous windows at ground level, one may feel exposed. The windows are double glazed and the lock is strong but we closed the driveway gate to feel more secure. It was quiet and peaceful and we loved our stay.

Nathalie and Hubert were very kind and friendly. The place was pristine, beautiful and relaxing. You have to hire a car to visit places in Bordeaux but Hubert provided many great suggestions of local wineries and things to do. He was always responsive and very helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to anyone thinking about visiting Bordeaux.

Fantastic hosts, Laurent and Carole could not have done more to make us feel welcome. Amazing welcome package, well appointed kitchen, lovely pool and an abundance of towels. They were very helpful with recommendations and came to say farewell. We would definitely recommend and hope to be back!

Christelle met at the house and kindly showed us around. She is an absolutely lovely lady and extremely kind. The house is perfect and is even nicer in reality. From start to finish our stay was superb in every way. Totally private with fab views. The house is large with a great kitchen and fabulous bathroom. Everything is new and very clean. The bed was big and super comfortable. Christelle has thought of everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable. It’s one of the best Airbnb’s we have ever stayed in. Thank you so much Christelle, you have been a superb host 🥰
