We had a lovely ten days, with three generations of the family coming together in this beautiful location. It made a great base for us to explore the surrounding sights and a quiet place to relax when needed.

Très bonne étape de retour vers Paris, logement très bien aménagé, propre et au calme. Nous n'hésiterons pas à y retourner.

Lovely hosts in a lovely part of the world. If you are looking for peace and quiet - WOW. The experience of the vineyards is only interrupted by frogs and the occasional windy day.

The village of Gensac is tucked away in the lovely Saint-Émilion countryside. The one-time convent feels like a special place, a quiet and peaceful retreat to return to after our days visiting Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion, Bergerac, and environs. The suite is spacious, very clean, has useful amenities, and we settled in easily. A vase of fresh flowers on the dining table and a bottle of local wine were nice touches that we especially appreciated. John was a helpful, informative, and friendly host. We enjoyed meeting him and will remember our stay there fondly. Thank you, John.

A charming cottage very close to st emilion town and very close to the station. Sophie was very kind to pick us up and really helpful with suggestions on good restaurants and places to visit. She was very responsive to every request. We really enjoyed our time there. Thanks for being a great host Sophie. I highly recommend this place.

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans une atmosphère calme et reposante. Des commerces de proximité étaient accessibles à pied et ouverts même les dimanches et jours fériés. Nous avons pu visiter Bordeaux, St Emilion et avons passé une journée à la mer alors que nous n’avions que 3 jours devant nous. Nous sommes vraiment ravi et recommandons ce logement. Encore merci

Nous avons passés 4 jours très agréable le gite est bien placé, on peut se garer devant il est en pleine campagne et l'environnement est très reposant. Une terrasse ou nous prenions le déjeuner, une cuisine moderne avec tout l'équipement nécessaire et une salle de bain au top. Excellente literie et d'une extrême propreté ! On a été super bien accueillit et si l'occasion se présente nous y reviendrons ! Nous recommandons ce gite pour les personnes aimant la nature et la tranquilité

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Petit Cinq Ruffe. Caroline and Paul were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The property was lovely and met all our needs. The location was very rural and quiet; exactly what we had hoped for. The welcome included a lovely platter of local produce and delicious wine. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We would not hesitate to highly recommend this property.

We stayed 3 wonderful months in Veronique’s house. We had our two small dogs with us and the yard was securely fenced and safe for them. The house is in a vineyard and Guilherme (Veronique’s son) frequently came to tend his vines. Guilherme is a charming young man and we looked forward to seeing him and chatting with him. Guilherme respected our privacy but we always went out to chat with him if we saw him. He also was quick to respond to any questions we had and he is a good source of information about the area. The house is stylishly decorated and has nice new furniture and beds all of which are comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped. We have stayed in many rental houses for the past 8 months as we first drove across the US and then moved to France. Veronique’s house was by far the best house that we rented. So many houses had broken down uncomfortable furniture. We will cherish the good memories we have of staying in Veronique’s house! Thank you, Veronique!

This is a really lovely cottage in amongst the vines, and a wonderful pool, terrace, bbq... It was extremely hot for the first few days (over 38 degrees) and although the cottage wasn't air-conditioned, it was cool and there were plenty of fans. Emma was extremely helpful and suggested lots of local restaurants and activities which were all great. The cottage was well supplied with everything we needed - good for cooking, and I read from (and donated to) the great little library of books provided. The unexpected bonus was that her TV could access UK BBC live and we watched a LOT of the Olympics with UK commentary! Such a lovely holiday, thank you.

We were met by his beautiful dogs on arrival making us feeling immediately welcome, followed by Gideon who welcomed us like we were part of the family. Gideon and his wife couldn’t have done enough, always being around for a chat, or just for a quick wave and smile. This truly is the most peaceful and beautiful setting to escape the reality of city life. The house its self was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and exposed original brick, they have got the perfect balance of rustics and contemporary. We couldn’t fault a thing and whoever gets to stay here next, is sure to love it just as much as we did!

Sonja est une hôte très sympathique et réactive aux sollicitations qui a tout mis en œuvre pour que notre séjour se déroule bien. Je recommande sans hésitation.

Excellent séjour une très jolie maison, une très belle piscine dans un super environnement et une salle dédiée aux jeux billard ping pong fléchettes. Nous y retournerons certainement l année prochaine. Un énorme merci à Chrissy pour son accueil et sa gentillesse.

Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. We used the bikes to ride to the village where there were amenities, including a grocery store. Branne is close by with more restaurants, and amenities. Easy to reach wine tasting options. Hanging out by the pool is also good with amazing views and a bbq.

Philippe est un hôte très accueillant et très agréable. La maison est particulièrement belle et bien entretenue. Le cadre est superbe ! La vue est sublime. Le logement est très bien agencé et très propre. Rien ne manque, la générosité s'y fait sentir. Confort et qualité sont au rendez-vous. La présence de Kiwi est un vrai plaisir pour les amoureux des chats. 😉

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le logement est très fonctionnel et bien organisé, il y a tout ce qu’il faut même le nécessaire pour bébé ! Nous recommandons vivement ! I can’t say enough about Marie and Gilles, the owners who live next door, who were kind and incredibly helpful during our one-month stay. They are the best! The house is beautiful and comfortable. The gardens are lovely, with trees, flowers and lawn, and beyond the property are rolling hills of vines. The kitchen is well-equipped, the wi-fi is great, and everything was perfectly clean. This is a jewel, and I highly recommend!

We had the most wonderful holiday at Christine and Eric's beautiful home, it was even more amazing than we expected. Everything that we needed for a 10-day stay with our toddler. Christine and Eric were fantastic hosts, they greeted us and gave us a short tour, which helped us feel right at home. The highlight was the pool, our toddler was so excited to use it! Very peaceful setting, you definitely need a car to get around but it's a short distance to a supermarket and other nearby villages and of course Bordeaux. Merci, Christine and Eric.

Emma's place is stunning and our group had an amazing stay there! We were a group of 7 adults and 3 children and we had everything we could have wanted and needed at Emma's place. The kitchen is well-equipped and the garden is wonderful for outside dining and for the children to roam around. We really didn't want to leave! Emma was so kind to help us with our constant questions - she is the perfect host. Thank you for having us, Emma!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Clos Castaing. Kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing on the Dordogne. Cycling and visiting local vineyards and St Emilion. The house is full of character, spacious and a perfect, tranquil base.

Christelle met at the house and kindly showed us around. She is an absolutely lovely lady and extremely kind. The house is perfect and is even nicer in reality. From start to finish our stay was superb in every way. Totally private with fab views. The house is large with a great kitchen and fabulous bathroom. Everything is new and very clean. The bed was big and super comfortable. Christelle has thought of everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable. It’s one of the best Airbnb’s we have ever stayed in.
