Holiday rentals with beach access in Gioiosa Marea

A week in paradise!!!! The house is charming and equipped with all comforts, the view is breathtaking, Mariagrazia and Carlo are wonderful hosts, sweet and always available in all respects, I felt at home right away! The setting is peaceful and private, with only the sound of the sea, the surrounding nature, birds and seagulls. A dream! The calettina a few steps from the house and the beach reachable in a few minutes on foot, along a beautiful path immersed in Mediterranean vegetation, are the icing on the cake. What amazing sunrises, wonderful colors at sunset and at night the sky turns into a carpet of stars. I can't forget the wonderful common area with the hammock among the olive trees, for regenerating relaxation in the shade facing the sea. A crystal-clear, clean, and limpid sea. Your eyes will be filled with wonder, as well as your heart! You won't want to leave!!!!

This is a beautiful place to stay. Very clean, spacious, secure and quiet. It is easy to walk to cafes, restaurants, supermarket, bakery and waterfront. Having a washing machine was a bonus and it was easy to use. We enjoyed buying local products from the supermarket and cooking our own meals. Our hosts were also very helpful when our train was cancelled because of a strike. They helped us find a bus so that we could still continue our planned holiday.

Graziella and Filippo’s unit was impeccable. Fully equipped and above expectations. Filippo greeted us personally upon our arrival and oriented us to the condo, which was very nice. He was also readily available throughout our trip. The condo is upscale and modern and gave us plenty of room to ourselves. The view from The living room and bedrooms of the Castello di Milazzo was beautiful and I will never forget it. The balcony is very large as pictured and we enjoyed having our breakfast and dinner while taking in the view. He equipped the living room with a high quality projector and watching movies there was like an experience at a movie theatre. We also rented a mid-sized SUV (by American standards) and it was able to fit in the assigned parking space without issue. The condo is located in a prime location, nearby shopping, bakeries, restaurants, the pier, the beach and the port. I would absolutely recommend his unit and will personally try to return in the future.

The access to the accommodation was a bit surprising at the end of May as you have to drive through a small stream to get to the end of the road. The entrance to the free underground car park is also a bit bumpy and it is recommended to unload the car upstairs at the apartment beforehand if it does not have high tires. But once you arrive, the accommodation is really impeccable with a beautiful view of the sea. You can hear the sea rustling at night and can sleep with the windows open without hesitation. You can also get to the beach directly from the apartment via a small staircase. The accommodation was one of the cleanest I have experienced so far. The mocha pot for making coffee, which is unfortunately often neglected, was also really clean. All public transport as well as small bakeries and shops are within walking distance. Since you can use a free parking space, excursions by car are always easy. The place is really highly recommended.

Two couples, English and American, we stayed for 3 nights. The house, garden and terrace are spacious. The terrace is spectacular, overlooking Taormina with views up to Castelmola and across the sea to across to Calabria. Garage parking was included directly across the street. The walk into Taormina is easy. A neighborhood market is a 1-2 minute walk. Castelmola is worth a visit, as is taking the funivia cable car down to the beach. We were sorry our stay wasn't longer.

We had a wonderful stay at Gianluca’s apartment. We were right around the corner from Corso Umberto. It was very quiet inside the apartment at night and even though it was a lively street we slept very well. Gianluca was extremely helpful from getting us a booking at his very busy and amazing restaurant downstairs to arranging tickets to the film festival - he really went above and beyond. The apartment was very clean and we had plenty of space for two adults and our child. The balcony is large with views to die for and having the bus station and cable car very close was an added bonus. If we ever are lucky enough to return to Taormina, we would deciiitely stay again.

Valeria’s place is absolutely worth the hype and so is she! She went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. She greeted us at check-in, let us drop our bags early, and even gave us a ride to our boat excursion. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, the place was spotless, and the views were unreal. The location is perfect: beach access, mini marts, the Mazzarò Sea Palace for drinks or dinner, and just a 3-minute walk to the cable car that takes you straight into Taormina. On the first night, my sister and I mistakenly ordered an Uber to town for 27 euros and ended up walking 30 minutes back down. Do not do what we did. The cable car only costs about 10 euros round trip. On checkout, Valeria helped us get a taxi and even gave me duct tape when my suitcase ripped. She truly thinks of everything. From the peaceful sounds of the birds to the stunning sea views, this stay will stick with you forever.

We had a lovely stay in the simply furnished Villa Soprana, beautiful views over the valley and Vulcano. When we needed Concetta she was at the door within 5 minutes, very helpful. In short, a recommendation!

Beautiful, peaceful and serene. The sunrise over the sea is visible from the bedroom as it faces eastward. Decent hikes around the island. Hosts were helpful in finding us a place to dine out on the island even during low season. Will be visiting again!

We stayed for four weeks in march. We had a great time, we fell in love with the place and their lovely dog Fiocco who is very sweet, also to children. Therèse and Viviana were very kind and helpful when we had questions. The house is situated in the middle of a large lemon grove and a daily stroll to the sea (it's a pebble beach) is greatly recommended. The nearby village San Stefano di Camastra is great for an ice cream and a coffee. We expected more hikes to be near, as it is located right next to Nebrodi but finding and reaching hotspots (hiking or otherwise) was ultimately harder than expected. We encountered this across Sicily though and is not related to the house itself. Our children loved to roam around the premises and find their own little adventures. All in all, we had a great relaxed stay and felt in tune with rural Sicily.

Very pretty and peaceful stay. Closely located to port for easy access to ferries to other islands

Lorenza happened to be in Lipari city on the ferry when we arrived and spontaneously transported some of our luggage by car to Canneto, while we took the public bus to the neighboring village. The reception was friendly, on request she gave some tips for shopping and activities. The apartment is clean, bright, modern and tastefully furnished, terrace overlooking the sea, the long village street/promenade and the neighboring islands Panarea and Stromboli. Shopping, bistros and restaurants within walking distance. Bus stop right in front of the house. Highly recommended!

Barbara was an excellent host and we loved her home: we rented the entire home for our family (adult kids and partners, plus my husband and I) and it was perfect for everyone. The house has a fantastic view of Isola Bella, stairs to the beach are just few steps from the house, and there’s a parking lot just across the street (if you are driving be ready for very narrow streets ;) with cars, scooters and people all together). Barbara was super friendly, welcoming, attentive and helpful from the moment I booked and even more when we arrived. She communicated constantly with me. I highly recommend her place to feel at home waking up to a gorgeous, peaceful view. And there’s lot to do in Taormina and the surroundings. Fantastic trip, we already miss it …

Two of us stayed in Pippo's studio apartment for a full 3 days. The host was always available to provide us with support and to introduce us to other useful contacts. Seafront as described. We recommend renting a scooter either at the port or in Pecorini to make the most of the island. thanks again to Pippo for everything

This neighborhood of old fishermen's houses is very nice and quiet. The house is comfortable and the small garden is very nice. Claudio is a host like you don't meet often, affable, attentive, who loves his region and just wants to help you discover and appreciate it.

We had a great time here, Salvatore was very helpful and responsive. The place was a great spot to visit the surrounding towns and find easier parking compared to the rest of the town. The place has a lovely private access to a nice cove.

Great apartment with everything you need to enjoy your holiday. Perfect beach location. Restaurants and supermarket very close. Maria is a great host, making you feel very welcome ready for your Sicilian adventure.

Great place especially for the price. Equipped with everything you need. The room is a bit dark dark, but with a nice balcony. The apartment is surrounded by neighbors so don't expect it to be completely quiet all the time (thin walls). The communication with the host Margherita was easy and pleasant. All in all a convenient affordable place to spend the vacation.

We had an amazing time at Giovanni‘s apartment was big and beautiful and the pool was amazing. And for an extra fee he picked us up from the airport and dropped us back afterwards. Beautiful clean apartment and large balcony. Great functional kitchen and large bedrooms. Easy walk into town there’s lots of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. Will definitely be back!

Would go again (but with a few things to consider)! The area isn’t quiet. The bedrooms are on a street that is a bit noisy at times (cars/vespas). This makes a full nights sleep without waking up at all hard, really hard. Easily the biggest downside with the apartment. Aside from that, the village is wonderful and the view is amazing. The weather in Sicily tends to be good and sunny, but if not, the living room is small for four people. I hate to complain since we loved it but these things are good to know about. Free parking, big bedrooms, very big balcony and a great view is the best things about the apartment.

Very nice place, with a great sea view. Well equipped kitchen and a great mattress. The host was very friendly and always good to reach.

I was fortunate to stay in this amazing apartment for a second time. It's uniquely and exclusively decorated, and it's definitely my preferred place to stay when visiting this area. It offers quick and easy access to Taormina by train or bus, or even on foot. The hosts are the very best!

This is a very well supplied haven! Everything you could possibly need is here! Extra linens, towels, first aid, coffee, seasonings, and even laundry provisions. This place and people are outstanding! They were extremely helpful and eager to chat even though we had no common language. We loved our stay here! The only sadness was not enough time planned to enjoy the lovely patio.
