La Fenetre Holiday Cottage

IanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a fantastic stay at Tim’s place! The location was perfect – just around the corner from local amenities and right in the heart of town. It was also only about 10 minutes to the forest and around 30 minutes to Whitby, which made day trips really easy. The hot tub was spotless and ready to use as soon as we arrived, and we were greeted with a lovely bottle of Prosecco – such a thoughtful touch. Tim was an incredibly responsive and understanding host throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be back in the future

Highbury Farm Cottage with Hot Tub. Pet friendly

VictoriaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had a lovely weekend at this cottage for my partner’s birthday. Hot tub was gorgeous, even better in the rain. House was beautiful and having the chickens running around outside was fabulous. Marisa was the perfect host. Answered questions quickly and was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend a stay in this lovely cottage.

3 Railway Cottage Pickering , Hot Tub, Pets all'd

AndrewRating, 5 stars2 months ago
3 Railway Cottage is a fantastic base to explore the amazing beauty of North Yorkshire. The cottage is located a 20 minute walk from the centre of Pickering but is in a really quiet and private location. The only exception of course is the opportunity to wave at the heritage railway trains that pass at the back of the cottage a few times a day which is really amazing, especially if you wave from the comfort of the hot tub! I can’t recommend this location highly enough, it is a really comfortable and well equipped cottage in a fantastic location - what more could you ask for?

Spent 3 lovely peaceful days here! The place is spotless. Easy to check in, but quite a late one for standard check in times. Even with surrounding neighbours there was minimal disturbance.

Rose Cottage -hot tub, dog friendly, country views

MattRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely relaxing cottage with everything we needed. Very cosy and relaxing setting with great views from back windows. Enclosed garden for dog or children. Hot tub was a great perk which was well used by us. Rillington village within 10 min walk which had a small shop and a nice pub ( the fleece). Tips for other travellers The fleece in rillington has a nice garden of weather nice and the food was nice too and dog friendly Ham and cheese which is a 5 minute drive the food was very good and dog friendly too although probably too far to walk Lots of walks nearby, we went to dalby Forrest, mallyham spout in goathland and Levisham near Pickering New Connie’s Chinese in malton was also very good

Unique 18thC Yorks Dales Silk Weavers’ mill house.

BillRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Coming from the States, we were looking for a quintessential Yorkshire Dales experience: someplace peaceful and quiet with beautiful scenery. This place fit the bill perfectly. The house was very comfortable and we especially loved the shower, beds and comforters. It really is self catered so be sure to bring any cooking staples you will need. Beautiful artwork throughout the house, and some great magazines to read on rainy days. We did have an issue on the second to last day we were there - the power went out for no apparent reason. Luckily we were able to isolate the problem circuit and get things partially working again. Claire was very helpful and arranged for showers we could use in the cabins at the main property down the road. All in all, it was a lovely location and we would definitely stay there again.

A perfect spot for a calm, away from it stay for us. Felt at home straight away, slept brilliantly and so handy for delightful walks to and from the village pubs. Monty our dog felt the same! Owner and local lady housekeeper could not have been more helpful. Impossible to fault - many thanks Andrew

Spacious character historic cottage

NatalieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had a fabulous stay in lovely place. Brilliant location for travelling to other places. The house is situated a few mins walking distance out of the town centre, castle and Museum. We had a few stop offs at the Sun Inn on our way back and enjoyed the atmosphere. The house is well equipped and clean. We loved the main living room with its open beams and ceiling. Gill was always available and very helpful 😊

Triangle Cottage

MarionRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Just had the cosiest stay at Triangle Cottage! Very tastefully decorated, the comfiest bed and the dreamy rolled top bath with the views made it all the more relaxing! It had everything I needed for a wee retreat with my dog in the countryside. Perfect walkable distance to the city centre and various hikes around. Strongly recommend!

NY Moors' peaceful retreat - Great Fryup, Lealholm

GemmaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We absolutely loved our short but sweet stay which was perfectly located for the wedding at Danby Castle. The Airbnb is spotless, spacious and has the most breathtaking views. And in addition to that Ann was very kind, responsive and accommodating to any additional needs we had. Thank you for allowing us to stay here and we hope to return to soak in the area a bit more next time!

Charming renovated barn with wood burning stove

TracyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely and peaceful, the accommodation was very homely, the shower and the huge bath was amazing, the bath towels were lovely and soft, I would recommend this lovely home to anyone who wants to visit North Yorkshire, we visited Scarborough, York and Whitby. My 2 Labradors Betsy and Barney thoroughly enjoyed the beach at Scarborough and Whitby. Most of the areas we visited welcomed dogs, which was amazing. There is a nice shopping centre called Monks Park, half an hours drive but worth the drive. There are some lovely restaurants there also. Would not recommend the Indian in Malton, very disappointing but the Indian in Pickering called Spice 4 U was very nice and reasonably priced. Thank you Carol for sharing your accommodation with my family.

A pretty cottage in a lovely Yorkshire village right on the Moors. Loved having sheep grazing outside the front door. It was a perfect base to go off walking and exploring the area and we felt very looked after by Helen who has taken great care to provide a warm and welcoming home.

‘The Hideaway’ amidst the Nidderdale Hills

GillRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We absolutely loved The Hideaway and wished we'd been able to stay for more than one night. Louise was so friendly and helpful, and although we didn't get to meet, we had everything we wanted and quick help when we messaged her with questions about where to eat etc. The Hideaway is immaculately clean and so stylish. The bed was super comfy and the shower fantastic. The kitchen was spotless and well stocked with utensils and crockery and Louise had kindly left us fresh eggs (from her gorgeous free ranging chickens, who came to say hello as we arrived), fresh milk and bread and a bakery treat each. It's a light, bright and welcoming apartment with beautiful views over Nidderdale. We had complete privacy and even a little garden space with picnic table and fabulous view. We were delighted to wake to the gentle calls of the curlews in nearby fields and we felt truly 'on holiday'. The sad part was leaving .. we really hope to be back soon and to explore this amazing part of Yorkshire

Romantic Cottage with Hot Tub & Countryside Views

MaxineRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We have just spent the most wonderful week at Crossing Cottage. It is charming, peaceful, idyllic and surrounded by nature but also close enough to any amenities, shops and restaurants in the pretty town of Helmsley. On arrival the cottage was immaculate with comfy beds, great shower and toiletries, kitchen with everything you might need and the wood fired hot tub which we spent many evenings enjoying. Thank you Karen for your hospitality, the bottle of fizz and goodies on arrival and your attention to detail. Crossing cottage is truly a very special place to stay.

Dryden Cottage, Whitby Harbour - Beach side

RachelRating, 5 stars3 days ago
My brother and I booked this cottage for our parents 70th birthdays and 50th wedding anniversary gift. It was in an ideal location giving that it is right near the harbour and my mum is a bit of a boat watcher. Mum said the views out to the harbor were stunning. Penny's communication from the time of booking up to the day they departed from the cottage was always prompt, polite and very informative. The cottage had everything they needed, it was very clean and had a comfortable bed. It is in a fantastic location for trips out. They would highly recommend this cottage to others.

Characterful one bed property above Hebden Bridge

When we arrived we were greated by Carolyn and Brian, Brian was just about to take Ruby (the dog) for a walk so Carolyn showed us around the apartment, it's a beautiful place to stay and would highly recommend it. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom/shower room is immaculate! The scenery is stunning and we managed to see the deer and a barn owl too!! We just wish we could have stayed longer!! We would just like to say a 'Big Thank You' to you both for making our stay such a lovely and welcoming one! We hope to see you again soon! Sue and Pete 😊 xxx
