Holiday rentals with a patio in Giles County

Perfect accommodations for our weekend trip. We were able to swing by the cafe for lunch on the way in and were immediately welcomed and the food was great! Wish we had more time to stay and enjoy the area. Would definitely recommend to anyone passing through Sinks Grove!

We had a GREAT stay!!! I’m from the area and came home to visit - was looking for a nicely located “base” and it was perfect. Will absolutely be keeping this in mind for more trips home. Even forgot a bag upon check out and was contacted promptly so that I could return and grab it.

This was not our first stay at Hillbilly Hideaway and it won’t be the last. We feel right at home and we love feeling like we are staying with friends! It’s always the little details that make a big difference. I appreciated not having to do much to check out. I had my clothes on for church and all that was required for us to check out was to strip the linens and that definitely made it easier! I recommend Hillbilly Hideaway without hesitation!

George was very friendly and accommodating. We stayed here during my son’s graduation week. I would absolutely come back and stay again. I will say the description says it sleeps 6, however there is a charge for more than 4 people to stay and the pull out couch for the 5/6 people is not comfortable. I would bring a mattress cover and additional blankets if you are sleeping more than 4. I would also bring some outdoor chairs or folding chairs. We used this as a place to gather w family after the ceremonies. Not close to much, but very quiet and private and the pool table was a bonus!

There is a queen bedroom and bath downstairs and a queen bedroom in the loft. Spotlessly clean home. Electric sofa with double recliners. All linens for bathroom and beds are white and neat. Cost of $1400 for one night during g VT graduation

Fantastic spot to spend the weekend. If you are hoping for peaceful stay, make sure to book here! Pamela thought of everything and had so many little touches that made the stay comfortable.

This is such a great apartment to stay in. My husband and I really enjoyed staying there. It is clean and dr orated so beautifully.

We had 7 members of our family all stay at Shawn’s house and it was a perfect size for us. Commented below are from different family members. Beautiful view, nice layout for big family gatherings, including deck. Great location, Private and serene. Nicely decorated, lots of sitting and gathering areas. Good things: - view is incredible, kind host, plenty of parking, filtered water for drinking, lots of seating, and PIANO!!! Kitchen was great as we made a lot of our meals. Shawn gifted us with several goodies, which we appreciated as well. Overall, everyone slept well on the beds also. We would definitely stay here if we ever have the need to have a group in that area again.

Very peaceful and open. The hosts were very friendly, allowed us to have a bonfire and really relax.

Karin's and Dave's place was spotless, bigger than it looked in photos, and extremely well stocked with coffee options, drinks in fridge, and even some snacks. They were great communicating, checked in daily and made sure we didn't need anything else. Location was in a residential area, very quiet but short drive to restaurants and stores. Extremely reasonable cost for VT graduation weekend and only 15 minutes from Lane. Highly recommend!

I recently stayed at this fantastic Airbnb, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The accommodations were plentiful and exceeded my expectations—everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large and beautiful. The little touches (k-cups, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and board games) were much appreciated. Our host, Debbie, was responsive and provided excellent instructions prior to our arrival making check-in and settling in a breeze. It was clear they genuinely cared about their guests’ experience. The location was perfect, just a short drive from the Virginia Tech campus and Christiansburg, which made it easy to spend time in the area. Overall, this Airbnb was a wonderful choice for our stay and hope to return for a future visit. Thank you for a lovely experience!

Great place to stay. Super airbnb host. They have all the little things available for your stay away from home....shampoo, conditioner, soap, laundry, etc. The house is very clean and cozy. We fit 5 people very comfortably. They even have chickens you can visit and say hi. We were there for a very special occasion to celebrate our son's graduation from VT and they got him graduation cupcakes! Also the place is only 10-15 minutes away from VT and shops, but you are away from all the hustle and noise. Very peaceful setting.

Excellent place to stay for a weekend in Blacksburg for a VT football game. We had 4 families and everyone said the place was very good and would certainly choose to stay there again.

I think this would be a FANTASTIC place to stay on any trip to Blacksburg. All in all, this home is in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood. Virginia was extremely responsive when I had questions! It seems like this may be a newish listing, and I’m sure it will only get better and better! It wasn’t a $1000 a night location, but that’s what you get in a small college town with few choices for Graduation. On a regular date, with regular pricing, I’m guessing this house is a great value! One note: The steps with no front porch, and immediate door entry, are tough to navigate for those with mobility issues. I wouldn’t choose this location if that’s an issue. Host provided one towel per guest - if you need more, I’d pack them in. The deadbolt on the front door is broken and won’t lock — but that’s not a huge issue in this incredibly safe neighborhood. The patio out back is a great place to chill, and was a wonderful place to gather.

We came to Blacksburg for a football game and the house was about a 22 minute drive from campus. We had a great stay and Sean was an excellent host! The house was clean and organized-would definitely stay again. You will need to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and body wash/soap. Other than that the house had plenty of towels, wash cloths, and kitchen supplies.
