Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Giles County

We absolutely loved our stay!! We came for a very short trip and wish we could’ve stayed longer. The cottage was spacious, warm & cozy, and immaculate. We’re already talking about booking again as a group for a VT football game! The host was proactive about letting us know there wouldn’t be any cell service, and they weren’t exaggerating. They provided written instructions to find the cabin that were perfect, but if you’re an anxious traveler, I’d highly recommend downloading the area maps in Apple or Google Maps so it can be used offline!

Karin's and Dave's place was spotless, bigger than it looked in photos, and extremely well stocked with coffee options, drinks in fridge, and even some snacks. They were great communicating, checked in daily and made sure we didn't need anything else. Location was in a residential area, very quiet but short drive to restaurants and stores. Extremely reasonable cost for VT graduation weekend and only 15 minutes from Lane. Highly recommend!

Have stayed here multiple times during large event weekends at VT. Completely comfortable and beautiful home away from home. Kelly has been a gracious and accommodating host every weekend. He and his home are second to none.

Tommy made sure our accommodations were met with an accurate depiction of the place as well as was helpful when needed. The laundry unit being attached to the master was a huge plus for me! Made doing laundry a whole lot easier as needed. Toiletries were also stocked. His hospitality did not go unnoticed and we will be sure to visit back again!

I think this would be a FANTASTIC place to stay on any trip to Blacksburg. All in all, this home is in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood. Virginia was extremely responsive when I had questions! It seems like this may be a newish listing, and I’m sure it will only get better and better! It wasn’t a $1000 a night location, but that’s what you get in a small college town with few choices for Graduation. On a regular date, with regular pricing, I’m guessing this house is a great value! One note: The steps with no front porch, and immediate door entry, are tough to navigate for those with mobility issues. I wouldn’t choose this location if that’s an issue. Host provided one towel per guest - if you need more, I’d pack them in. The deadbolt on the front door is broken and won’t lock — but that’s not a huge issue in this incredibly safe neighborhood. The patio out back is a great place to chill, and was a wonderful place to gather.

We came to Blacksburg for a football game and the house was about a 22 minute drive from campus. We had a great stay and Sean was an excellent host! The house was clean and organized-would definitely stay again. You will need to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and body wash/soap. Other than that the house had plenty of towels, wash cloths, and kitchen supplies.

Beautiful view and perfect for our family. The house was nice, fun to drive up to and had plenty of room for everyone. It is an older home so a lot of quirks and a few places that need some tlc. If ever in the area would love to stay again.

House was beautiful with full accommodations. Beautiful area, with beautiful views. House was very warm and inviting. Jim was always in contact with me when I needed him for questions/. Would recommend this house to families and friends who need a fun, spacey, comfortable house to stay in with a group!

Our stay in Floyd was incredibly peaceful—tucked in the heart of nature, quiet, private, and serene. Kathryn was a wonderful host—warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The hot tub was a perfect touch for relaxation. The kitchen was well stocked. We also attended a beautiful Mother’s Day gathering in the main house with music and a potluck, which was truly special. The hosts made the entire experience even more memorable. We loved every moment!

Perfect accommodations for our weekend trip. We were able to swing by the cafe for lunch on the way in and were immediately welcomed and the food was great! Wish we had more time to stay and enjoy the area. Would definitely recommend to anyone passing through Sinks Grove!

Have stayed here multiple times and every experience has been fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay. Marcia’s communication is great and the Coleman Suite is so unique and cozy. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the Floyd area.

This was a great stay for us! Enough space for all of us to hang out comfortably, especially with access to the porch. We had a great time; Hinton is am underrated town, and the area is gorgeous.

We had a great time at Linda’s place! The cabin was so charming and very very clean! The coffee bar and collection of games/toys for kids were a great touch. We would definitely stay here again.

My girlfriend and I wanted to take a vacation to visit her hometown. Little did I know I would pick a spot that was on the same road she grew up on as a child. It’s a beautiful mountain drive a little scary at first but you’ll get more comfortable with it the more you drive it. Beautiful little home, awesome heater, cool roomba, microwave, toaster, fridge with ice everything you could possibly need they had. I would definitely come back and you all should definitely check this place out!

The cabin was beautiful! Wish we were there for more than the one night. We will come back for a longer trip! The trout pond was a lot of fun for my 12 y/o as well. He caught several large rainbows!

We loved this private little cabin nestled in the woods. No asphalt or houses or lights in sight, just the occasional vehicle traveling by unseen on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

We loved this cabin! We spent six nights and will definitely return for another visit. Crossing second Creek seeing all the wildlife rolling Hills beautiful scenery, wonderful farms and Farm houses, peace and quiet taking a nap on the sunroom sofa. We loved this place and Dave was a wonderful communicator And offered great suggestions.

Andrea's cabin was fantastic! Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Andrea was a wonderful host, very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Lisa's cabin was perfect for a family getaway! The cabin was super clean and was better than the pictures. The cabin was private and most bedrooms had a good amount of privacy. The attention to detail was beautiful and the location was perfect. Lisa was very responsive and accommodating to our group. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend it to families, groups of friends, or even for a romantic getaway.
