Waterfront holiday rentals in Giardini Naxos

Vi kom med taxi frå flyplassen. Antonietta venta på oss i leiligheten og fortalte både om kva vi såg rundt oss, ga tips om restauranter og fortalte om retter ein bør prøve når ein er i Aci Castello. Leiligheten var godt utstyrt, men vi var nok for seine med å bruke myggsprayen. Gåavstand til Aci Trezza og Catania er heller ikkje langt unna (med buss). Etter innkjøp av badesko prøvde vi ein liten svømmetur i sjøen som ligg rett nedanfor leiligheten. Her må det seiast at vi hadde problem både med å komme oss uti og opp av sjøen på grunn av store steiner som måtte forseres. Leiligheta er godt utstyrt og vi kjøpte inn mat og åt frukost "heime", laga også eit par middager i staden for å ete ute. Terrassen var fantastisk og vi sat ute heile tida, med unntak av då vi ville sjå landskampen mellom Norge og Italia (som Norge vann). Anbefaler både plassen og leiligheta på det varmeste.

The view is as good as you think it will be. The apartment is spacious with two balconies. PROS: The sea view, Rita's responsiveness (she really did reply within a few minutes of sending her a message), the price, location with all the restaurants/cafes/grocery shops just a few minute walk, wifi was very good (used remote server). Bus stop to the airport is just down the road (5 min?) with a bus every 30 minutes. CON: The apartment sits between two roads. The one in front (where the view is) is busy at certain times in the morning and during the day, but the rest of the time it is fairly quiet. The other road at the back is busy from early morning to late into the night. This is where the bedroom is, so I had to wear ear plugs at night. FYI: If you do not wear shoes inside, pack a pair of slippers. The floors looked clean, but my feet were getting very dirty from walking inside the apartment without shoes. Bring a beach towel if you plan on swimming. There are several nice beaches.

The appartment is located perfectly for staying at the beautiful beach and also to get up to the center of Taormine within minutes. We even got a lot of free drinks on our fridge, including local and tasty wine from Sicily. We felt very comfortable and safe in the appartment and surrounded area. In addition we got great recommendations for restaurants (very delicious), trips and other things to do. Many thanks to Rocco and Massimo, our stay was amazing! Attilio ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Apartment ist sehr schön gelegen mit einem fantastischen Meerblick und auf die Promenade, 2 Minuten zum Strand, 4 Minuten zum Supermarkt und eine Menge von Restaurants & Cafes. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und neu und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefüllt und komme noch mal wieder. Vielen lieben Dank für die Gastfreunschaft!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen. Lage: Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem ruhigen Teil von Giardini Naxos. Kostenfreie Parkplätze findet man immer in der Nachbarschaft. Der nächste Strand mit Kieselsteinen befindet sich nur maximal 5 Minuten entfernt, zum Sandstrand mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen sind es auch nur 10-15 Gehminuten. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen, aber nach Taormina fährt man besser mit dem Bus, die Haltestelle ist nur 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Die Wohnung ist viel schöner als auf den Fotos. Die Dachterasse ist ein Traum mit tollem Blick auf den Hafen. Es gibt jetzt eine moderne Loungebestuhlung. Esstische in der Küche und im Wohnbereich sind auch neu und noch nicht auf allen Fotos vorhanden. Ich finde, dass die Wohnung auch viel heller wirkt als auf den Fotos. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt bei Valeria.

Habe mit meiner Familie einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung gehabt. Nah am Strand, sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Vielen Dank

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour -une vue magnifique sur la mer et l’etna-il y a une belle énergie en Sicile on s’y sent bien et la situation de l’appartement y est pour beaucoup -Emanuela est hyper réactive et surtout prend soin de ses visiteurs avec de belles attentions à notre arrivée -boissons fraîches et gâteaux -après le long trajet c’était très agréable -il y a vraiment tout dans l’appartement -et j’ai adoré cuisiner face à l’église -un tintement agréable de l’horloge -c’est simple de l’appartement chaque fenêtre offre une vue charmante -la proximité de Taormina par le sentier pédestre ,le bateau, les excursions à l’Etna -parfait !!!!! On était proche de tout ….merci à nos hôtes de nous avoir permis de découvrir leur magnifique île -magique -

This was such a lovely and relaxing place. The outside space with the patios was amazing. There’s plenty of space indoors with a well equipped kitchen and I loved that the bedrooms are downstairs so you don’t have to bring the luggage upstairs. It was an easy drive to visit Taormina and Sergio was nothing but helpful with tips of where to park and places to eat. We would definitely return!

Francesco, you are the best owner. You were very kind and the guide was detailed and easy to understand, and the room was comfortable. Thanks to him and his wife, I had a great experience and I want to come again

We spend wonderful week at Alfio's place. All good reviews are hundred percent correct. View is amazing! Flat is very clean and cosy. There is air conditioning for every room separately. It's everything what you need and even more. Flat is simple but everything is solid and good quality. The area is great. All aperitivo we had on the terrace was with amazing view, quiet area and we were really satisfied. Hosts are very helpful and were responding to us very fast :) We will go back for sure :) Grazie di cuore :)

Es ist wie alles auf den Bildern beschrieben. Das Apartment ist sehr nah am Strand. Das ist toll. Zu unserem Zeitpunkt waren sehr viele Bauarbeiten rund um die Wohnung und es war sehr laut. Gut zu wissen ist, dass die Terrasse von allen Nachbarn auf jeder Seite einsehbar ist. Daher hast du keine Privatsphäre auf der Terrasse. Die Unterkunft ist ansonsten sehr sauber und hat genügend Platz. Der Host Salvatore ist sehr hilfsbereit und nett, hat alles super geklappt.

We had a lovely stay at Chiara"s place. Swims in the morning and drinks on the balcony in the warm evenings. The apartment is very well appointed and tastefully decorated.

Wir waren bereits zum 2. Mal in diesem schönen Appartement. Wunderbare Terrasse zu jeder Tageszeit, Meer und Strand auf der anderen Straßenseite, Supermarkt und Restaurants direkt vor der Haustür. Cristina begrüßte uns trotz der späten Ankunftszeit sehr herzlich mit einer köstlichen Überraschung und hatte auch für die 3 Regentage (Ende Oktober) schöne Ausflugstipps parat. Mille grazie!

Wir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden. Alessandro war sehr kommunikativ, beim Check-in, bei Problemen, beim Transfer unserer Tochter zum Flughafen. Die kleine Terrasse haben wir sehr genossen, ist sie doch gefühlt fast direkt am Meer. Wir können die Wohnung nur weiter empfehlen. Volker und Iris

Lele is an excellent hostess. The place matches the description perfectly. She has thoughtfully prepared a detailed instruction book with all the information we might need. Additionally, she provided us with plenty of helpful parking tips.

We really enjoyed two bedroom apartment with clean bathrooms and kitchen! Francesco was very helpful with recommendations of the restaurants, shops and attractions . We had a beautiful balcony with sea view where we had breakfast every morning, great parking just next to the our building. We were able to walk to the downtown but it is not an easy walk. Francesco gave us instructions how to get to the public parking by the car and that was very helpful.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt als Familie in der Unterkunft von Emanuela. Sie ist eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin und sie hatte mir paar Wochen vor Reiseantritt Informationen und Empfehlungen über Catania zugeschickt. Ihre Wohnung ist groß und sehr sauber. Wir hatten alles was wir gebraucht haben und ich kann es sehr empfehlen. Die Wohnung und Standort ist perfekt für Familien wie auch Freunde.

This place was beautiful! The terrace and view were the best part. Friendly and responsive host with good local recommendations. It was a little noisy during the day with some construction happening but overall a great location and very nice stay. Thank you!

Logement bien placé, à proximité de Catane, de l'Etna, et à 1h de Taormina. Quartier un peu excentré du centre touristique, mais plusieurs restaurants à proximité à Aci Trezza. Excellentes recommandations de visites et restaurants par nos hôtes. Très bon accueil par Julia, nombreuses recommandations et informations détaillées. Logement un peu exiguë si on imagine y rester à 4, mais idéal pour 2 personnes ! Équipement parfait, avec le nécessaire pour la plage, les parapluies si besoin, etc.

excellent séjour chez Palmira. le logement est propre et fonctionnel avec un magnifique terrasse vue sur mer et l'Etna. Toutes les commodités sont accessibles en 5 minutes de transport à la marina de Riposto

The apartment is beautiful, exactly like the pictures, very contemporary with a balcony overlooking the sea at the front and a view of mount Etna at the back. The town, Stazzo, is a small Sicilian fishing village with few tourists. Although we don’t speak Italian, we were welcomed and found it to be a very friendly neighborhood with neighbours meeting on the seafront, passing the time of day with each other. It was lovely to see. When we were there the beaches were just starting to be converted for the summer season with wooden platforms being installed over the rocks but we were happy to swim and sunbathe on the many flat areas carved out on the rocks. All in all, it was a great base to explore the region, you will need a car but you can park right on front of the house, no problem.

Cettina et Roberto sont des hôtes très prévenants, une corbeille de produits locaux nous attendait, avons beaucoup apprécié ce geste. La maison à la décoration typiquement sicilienne est très bien équipée, literie très confortable et propre. Ce qui fait le charme essentiel de cette location est la vue sur l'Etna avec en 1er plan un champ de citronniers. Le voisinage est calme, et le parking couvert assez grand et permet de garder la voiture au frais, très appréciable. Les commerces de proximité pain, viande fruits et légumes à moins de 10 mn à pied. Nous conseillons vivement.
