Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Giardini Naxos

We came by taxi from the airport. Antonietta waited for us in the apartment and told us about what we saw around us, gave tips on restaurants and told us about dishes you should try when you are in Aci Castello. The apartment was well equipped, but we were probably too late to use the mosquito spray. Walking distance to Aci Trezza and Catania is also not far away (by bus). After purchasing swimming shoes, we tried a small swim in the sea that lies just below the apartment. Here it must be said that we had problems both getting in and out of the sea due to large rocks that had to be forced. The apartment is well equipped and we bought food and ate breakfast "at home", also made a couple of dinners in the city to eat out. The terrace was fantastic and we sat outside all the time, except when we wanted to watch the national match between Norway and Italy (which Norway won). I highly recommend both the place and the apartment.

Great location, close to restaurants and the beach. Views from the terrace are stunning. Excellent communication, our host was really helpful and assisted us to get to the apartment. Local buses meant it was so easy to get to see the local beauty spots.

Roberto was a great host and helped us get settled nicely once we got to Sicily. He answered any questions we had and gave us a list of restaurants, beaches and tours before we got there. He also helped book us a taxi to his apartment. The apartment is next to the grocery store and all the shops and restaurants which was very convenient. Overall, we loved our stay and would highly recommend for anyone to stay there.

Anita’s place is so cute! We really enjoyed our stay here, and she was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. It was a nice short walk up to the town center. We would definitely stay here again if we make it back to Taormina!

It's an amazing village! And Cesare is a great host! The arancini at 20m are super good, the bar is typical and friendly, and there are very nice walks all around. My only regrets: not staying longer, and not speaking Italian well to be able to communicate with the inhabitants of the village who are very friendly.

Everything was fabulous. It was very close to the parking and in the part of town that was not as busy. Caterina was very helpful with making us beach reservations and giving us recommendations for everything we needed. It was enjoyable to sit on the patio and drink a glass of wine in the evening.

Fantastic stay in a brilliant apartment! Close to all amenities and restaurants! Close enough to Taormina without being on top of the crowds! The host is super responsive and very helpful with any questions you might have! Amazing time, can’t wait to book again! ☺️

Wonderful location and a pristine accommodation

We spend wonderful week at Alfio's place. All good reviews are hundred percent correct. View is amazing! Flat is very clean and cosy. There is air conditioning for every room separately. It's everything what you need and even more. Flat is simple but everything is solid and good quality. The area is great. All aperitivo we had on the terrace was with amazing view, quiet area and we were really satisfied. Hosts are very helpful and were responding to us very fast :) We will go back for sure :) Grazie di cuore :)

Francesco is an excellent host!! He gave us all the necessary directions and also came to help us with parking. It is an excellent place very close to the beach and other places to eat. We recommend stopping here and not in Taormina, where there are too many people and you can't be. The distance to Taormina is 15' on a €2 bus and 5' on foot from the train station. Although we went by car, it is not necessary since the access is very comfortable. The house has everything you may need for your stay. There were two of us and the house is huge for that number of people. Being close to the train, you can hear the sound a little, but it's nothing serious. So now you know, if Taormina is on your travel plan, don't look for accommodation anywhere other than Giardini Naxos and, obviously, stay with Francesco. Thank you very much Francesco, we hope to return sometime!

We had a wonderful stay at the appartement. We really enjoyed the beautiful balcony and the nature all around. We even got nice fresh fruits out of the garden!

We can't stop thanking Angela for her kindness and concern for us. We thought the place was new because everything was impeccable, everything was shiny, lots of detail, she was affectionate and kind. Feels like a small slice of typical, peaceful, Sicilian life, just by the busy tourist town of Taormina. The steps are really something (as they’re clear about in the description) but completely worth it to have the most incredible view. Also on the way down, it really takes no time at all to get straight into the middle of everything. The house itself is spacious, clean and comfortable. Alessandro and Graziella are such amazing hosts and people, they are around to help with whatever you may need. Thank you both so much for having us, it was lovely to meet you!

So already the apartment is beautiful, we feel good, very warm, everything is there, we lack nothing. In addition Isidoro is a charming host, very friendly and very good advice … too bad we couldn't stay longer to get to know each other better☺️! It adds a "plus" to the place. Absolutely magical stay at Pina's place! Forza d'Agrò is such a charming little village and Pina's place was perfect to enjoy it - especially sitting on the balcony with our morning espresso and our evening wine. The apartment is beautifully furnished, super clean, and had everything we could possibly need. Recommend having a car if you stay here, as there are a number of beautiful beaches just a 10-15min drive away. And easy to get to Taormina. Highly highly recommend staying here!!

Perfect location right in the heart of town

This was a beautiful apartment with a very kind and responsive host. The amenities were great and you can tell the host takes great pride in providing a comfortable space for guests. We arrived late at night after our flight was delayed and Antonina and her son were very flexible with check-in. The home was difficult to find because it’s a rural area but Antonina’s son met us at the nearest gas station and guided us to the proper location. The airbnb itself is about a 15-20 minute drive to Taormina which worked perfectly for us since we had a car. You can’t beat waking up to Mount Etna every morning! The only downside is that the common area gets quite hot during the day as the sun beams through the windows. Not a huge problem as there are other balconies in the home but something to be aware of. Overall, would definitely recommend this Airbnb!

Nice, well equiped, spacious apartment. The surrounding is not so nice, but it is a great place to get off to the main attractions (Taormina, Etna, Alcantara).

We had an amazing time at Giovanni‘s apartment was big and beautiful and the pool was amazing. And for an extra fee he picked us up from the airport and dropped us back afterwards. Beautiful clean apartment and large balcony. Great functional kitchen and large bedrooms. Easy walk into town there’s lots of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. Will definitely be back!

I had a very comfortable stay here. The apartment is very modern and secure. The view of Etna was spectacular. The host was very helpful and available for any situation. I highly recommend staying here for the apartment’s modern facilities and the view!

A lovely apartment in a fantastic location, hosts were very responsive and helpful.

The apartment is in a perfect location. We travelled with a baby and being so close to the Main Street made life easy. The apartment is a good size and has a washing machine and full bathroom which again felt very useful. The walk to the cable car and supermarket is about 5 mins and less to the Main Street. Well worth the price we paid and incredibly convenient.

Antonio is a great host. He waited for us late considering the plane was 3 hours late and kept us parking space. The home is very well located in the vicinity of the beach and many restaurants.
