Family-friendly holiday rentals in Geumcheon District

We had the best of times at this AirBnB! Every morning we had a different breakfast prepared by the host. Always delicious and satisfying. She was very gracious and extremely responsive despite there being a language barrier. The space itself was very tidy and clean. The beds were comfortable. Since each room had a door that leads directly to the courtyard, each room’s occupants were able to come and go without bothering each other. :) There’s a fun food market within walking distance. We got to try a lot of different foods! There’s a lot of cool places to travel to and explore; we highly recommend visiting the local palaces. If we ever get the chance to return to Korea, we would happily stay here again!

Yuna is a most wonderful host. Her immaculate attention to details and her warm personality in making our stay the best it could possibly be just made us felt at home throughout our stay. She had been a constant and attentive source of help and reference for us even though it goes far beyond her call of duty as a host. We want to thank her especially for going out of her way to arrange for a pickup of an item we left behind at a farm for a day trip, and her speedy responses and recommendations when we sought her help for booking rides for a big family and family attractions. Our place of stay was beautiful, very well maintained, clean and stocked with all the amenities we could ask for. The location is extremely convenient, located right next to Coex and the Bongeunsa train station, with eateries and convenience stores available all around us. Conveniently located just 10 minutes walk from seoul station exit 12 (with lift for your luggage), convenient store just around the corner. Vry quiet neighbourhood, we had a great rest. We stayed for 3 nights, able to wash n dry our cloth which is a added bonus. Highly recommended

Helpful and accommodating host. The apartment was exactly as advertised and if there is anything you need, just let them know and they will make it happen. Great hosts and amazing staff support to fix things or gives rides!

It was a comfortable stay—very convenient in many ways as well. Yoony was really responsive and hospitable. The house also looked its name, Art House. I’d stay here again! It’s a bit of a hike to get here from the bus station so those with knee problems should keep that into consideration. The alley in front is narrow so sometimes taxi drivers want you to walk where they are. That said, I’m in my 60s and did fine!

I stayed at Do’s place with two friends for a long weekend and absolutely loved it. The flat is beautifully decorated and welcoming; we enjoyed the view from the terrace during sunset and the peaceful surroundings. Right next to the flat there’s a lovely breakfast place called Sunday Arvo where we went almost every day. The location is great, walking distance to the bustling Itaewon and Hannam area where Leeum museum and a lot of cute shops and cafes are. We used the bus or Uber to get to other areas of the city. Thanks again for the great stay!

I had a wonderful stay at this place. The location is perfect and very close to the subway station (Line 4) and convenience stores, making it easy to get around. The place offers great privacy and top-notch facilities. The host is super approachable and responds quickly to any questions. Highly recommended!

Amazing apartment, we stayed for one week and loved it. The location is amazing, it's walkable to two subway stations on two lines for easy access to the city. Woojin was a helpful and responsive host, thanks to him we had no issues with our holiday and he was proactive to make sure we had everything we could possibly need. 10/10 would stay here again if we're back in Seoul.

Nice, spacious place that is as advertised

My family of 7 enjoyed our stay in Heanu’s home! Our host went out of their way to check on us to make sure everything was going well. The home was clean and pictured as expected. We were comfy, and we had everything we needed. Like what other reviewers mentioned, there is a steep hill to get to the home, but you can take a detour on the next street for a slightly less steep hill!

Jaekwang and his wife Hyeran was very gracious host. Very spacious accommodations with everything you. Plenty of great places for coffee and good food. The train station was a bit far. However there are a lot of buses in the area. My sister and I took the bus to Ewha Womans University. I would definately recommend this property to others.

I had an amazing stay at Yujin’s Airbnb! The place was spotless and cozy, and she thoughtfully provided essentials like toothbrushes, shampoo, and shower supplies—which was such a nice touch. The location is fantastic, with plenty to do in the area and excellent public transport options that made getting around super easy. It’s also really convenient if you have a flight from Gimpo Airport—just a short trip away. There are several convenience stores, cafés, and even a pharmacy nearby, which made our stay even more comfortable. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Fefa Station is the nearest station.From Fefa Station, there is no up and down the road, so it is easy to understand and easy to get to the house.(You can also walk to Dongdaemun Station and Jongno 5-ga Station, but it is a little further than Fefa Station, and there is a little up and down.) The bus stop called Dongdaemun General Market is about between Dongdaemun Station and Jongno 5-ga Station, so it is easy to understand how to get to and from the airport⇔ house. The house is clean and stylish as pictured.It is kept clean and pleasant. There is also a range, pots, dishes, silverware, pots, knives, etc., and dish soap. You can also use the washing machine, but please take your detergent with you. There is also a balcony where you can enjoy meals. The surrounding area is safe and very quiet. There is a Starbucks and CU (convenience store) between the area around Fefa Station to the house, making it convenient.There are also cafes, mochi shops, and bakeries. There is also a hair dryer in the bathroom.Body soap and shampoo are also available.Bring your own toothbrush. The host will give you recommendations for nearby shops and send me a message how to use the room.They returned my questions right away and prepared what I asked for right away.Thank you for your kindness, polite, and quick to respond.

The location is very close to Hongdae, although there is no elevator, but you just need to walk a few steps. The bathroom is a little small, but the room is big with the living room Because it is right next to the street, someone talking loudly in the morning at night will hear it directly and may need to wear ear plugs that are sensitive to sound. Anything else will be fine

It was conveniently located close to the station and easy to access famous spots in Korea.The room is also spacious and enough for one person.In Korean homes, the common toilets and showers are together, but the water pressure and temperature were well used smoothly.It is easy to hear the sound of the surroundings, and there is no TY, so I think you can have a comfortable stay if you bring an ipad, etc. I thought it was a better room than the price.

Jiwon was a super host. The apartment was clean and quiet. Great location and so close to some great streets and cafes. Jiwon was really helpful and very responsive.

Donny was the most welcoming and accommodating host we’ve ever had. From flexible check in and out to helping us out in a pinch. He was always responsive and tried to help with any of our questions. The Hanok was what we expected and the location was what we needed. We had 7 in our party from grandchildren to grandparents and this worked out great. The street is great because it’s a one way for a stretch so you know when the vehicles are coming. The restaurants close a little earlier than we would have liked but there are many others within a 10 minute walk. All in all, a quiet, activity filled stay. Would totally recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It’s very close to Namsan Tower — we took the bus up and walked down, which was a great experience. You can also easily walk to Myeongdong, which is super convenient, and Seoul Station is just nearby. The apartment itself is great, and the host was kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. Highly recommend this place! If I come back to Seoul, I’ll definitely try to stay here again if it’s available.

I stayed here for 6 nights with 3 other friends. It was neat to stay at a place that was built in the same style and era of many of the historic landmarks you visit at Seoul. Mr Chul has done a great job of striking a balance between preserving the historic feel but providing modern amenities for a comfortable stay. The location is very walkable and easy to get to different neighborhoods via public transit. The rooms were simple and minimalist, you sleep on a mat on the floor, so be prepared for that, but they were comfortable enough for me. The rooms do have AC and bathrooms are modern with strong water pressure, modern fixtures, etc... Mr Chul greeted us when we arrived and gave us a great intro to the area, he even walked is to the cafe we were meeting some friends at, he really goes above and beyond to make his guests feel at home. I totally recommend staying here!

I really liked staying at this place! The area has a lot of good restaurants, cafes and beautiful surroundings. The area next to the house is very peaceful and quiet, sometimes you can even hear birds singing which was very nice! The place itself is ideal for long-term stay, it had everything I needed: washing machine, induction, electric pot, hair dryer and even rice cooker! Also in the hall there is a water purifier and a microwave which was very convenient. The place also had a lot of storage space. The host was very helpful and if any problem occurred he answered within seconds. The host was also very cooperative when it came to providing documents for receiving ARC card, which I am very grateful for (that’s why I can recommend this place for students, especially if you come for language course training. You will be able to receive all the needed documents). In conclusion I had a very pleasant long term stay (a little bit more than 3 months) and would definitely recommend!

House was clean and homey and great for our family of seven (adults & teens). Beds were comfortable; downstairs/basement rooms were a bit damp-smelling, but quite livable. Bathrooms were clean and easy to use, and amenities were as advertised and very useful! Host was very quick to respond to an issue with the water heater being accidentally turned off (was able to turn on remotely).
