Guest house holiday rentals in Georgian Bay

We totally loved the experience. Awesome to get away from city life and enjoy a true simple living (and everything that comes with it -- wood stove, outhouse, bringing and heating water for all your needs, etc.) Would love to enjoy it again and recommend to everyone who understands this style of vacation/recreation. Very nice cabin in a peaceful and quiet treed area. A small river on the property just steps away. The place and the area still offer a good deal of civilized life for those who do not want to disconnect completely: neighbouring properties are not that far away, there's relatively short drive to the highway, electric lighting and a socket in the kitchen). So it's a very good balance overall. Carine was a wonderful host. Unintrusive but always there for our questions/needs. Thank you so much, Carine!

Lyn and Peter were amazing hosts for our family of 4 (two adults plus two kids, ages 9&6.) Lyn greeted us at check-in, but gave us privacy after that, and was super quick to respond to texts on the rare occasion we had a question. The boathouse was as described with even more amenities than listed and more spacious and beautiful than the pictures could do justice. The place is immaculate with careful thought and detail into every little decoration and little touches (e.g. a basket in the bedroom with bug spray, package toothbrush, etc. for any forgotten items.) We felt completely at home in the boathouse and enjoyed the beautiful views from the upstairs deck and dock, where we spent the majority of our time. We all loved taking out the SUPs that were there for our use and it was a quick drive into town to visit Don’s Bakery (IYKYK), Splash Island, and the ski show on Tuesday night. Highly recommend the boathouse for your next Muskoka stay! Lyn’s hospitality is 10/10.

Amazing perfect location peaceful serene clean location was close to all amenities via your own transportation. Definitely will be come back here next time I travel this way. Enjoyed our stay!

Our 3 night stay in June at Catherine’s mini cottage was so peaceful and quiet it was hard to believe. I think our timing had something to do with it (mid week, June) but also the location on the little peninsula meant we had some privacy. The place is small but has everything you need. Bed was comfy, good towels. Catherine was very helpful when we needed good internet for a zoom meeting - it worked out great. Catherine responded quickly, gave us a little tour when we arrived and had lots of local info in a binder. Catherine was a wonderful host and we enjoyed our stay at her mini cabin.

This property is absolutely beautiful! We had the best time playing tennis and basketball, going in the pool and sauna. The pool is cool which was so nice after getting super hot in the sauna. 10/10 recommend. The inside was beautiful and relaxing, felt like a perfect getaway and we will be back for sure! My 83-year-old mom, my sister and I had a fantastic weekend at David and Wendy’s property: The accommodations were impeccable, they provided everything we could possibly need, and their recommendations for visiting the area were excellent. As much as we enjoyed Huntsville and area, the highlight of our visit was savouring our time on the home’s lovely porch and enjoying the view of the garden and birds

Yaro was an exceptional host! Always quick with his responses. The place is a shared lot but we always felt comfortable and had our privacy at all times.

We’ve book the place last minutes and Audrey was friendly, nice and easy to communicate. The place was tranquil, beautiful, quiet and peaceful. I love to go back again when we are in the area. It’s so hard to find a place like Recess Inn. I recommend this place if you guys ever in the area.

Drew’s place is an absolute oasis! Yes, the photos are amazing but it’s even MORE magical in real life. Very clean, comfortable, serene, and picturesque. The space is well equipped with everything you need to keep you comfortable. The outdoor kitchen and shower offer a wonderfully unique experience. Drew, the host, is so friendly and easy to get a hold of - and he made us feel right at home. We will definitely come back to enjoy this beautiful place again in the future!

We were pleasantly surprised to receive a small gift upon arrival—it was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. 🥰 It’s the perfect spot for fishing lovers—you absolutely cannot miss this place if that’s your thing! The location is peaceful and quiet at night, making it an ideal getaway for relaxation.

Beautiful home and very relaxing. The area is very private, while not being very far from restaurants and other things you need. The host is very friendly and helpful.

I’m definitely coming back here. Honestly, I can’t even explain how amazing our stay was. It was hands down the best Airbnb experience I’ve had so far. The loft is perfect for chilling with family or friends. Super cozy, private, and peaceful. The view is stunning, and there’s so much to do. And Graham, the host, is just awesome, so generous, welcoming, and full of good vibes. We felt totally at home the entire time. I’d recommend this place in a heartbeat. What you see in the photos is exactly what you get… maybe even better!

We had such a peaceful stay at the bunkie! The space is cozy and nestled in a truly beautiful setting. We loved waking up to birdsong and falling asleep to the sounds of the forest. The outdoor kitchen setup had everything we needed, and the composting toilet and outdoor shower were clean and well-maintained. It really felt like the perfect mix of comfort and nature. Laura and Dale were friendly and welcoming, with great attention to detail — from the firewood, to the hot tub, to the amazing locally written field guide they generously loaned us. Whether you're looking to unplug, read a book by the fire, or just take in the forest atmosphere, this is a perfect little escape. We'd absolutely come back.

We loved our stay at Cedar springs guesthouse. Beautiful inside and out. Super comfy bed, super lovely reclining couch and a perfectly clean and organized kitchen. One of the better air bnbs we’ve stayed at in terms of functionality,cleanliness and amenities ! Hank and Gus were friendly and cute as can be. The deck, BBQ and fire pit were great. Even though we aren’t birders, we loved playing the bird related trivia game with a glass or two of wine! Kate was awesome and their spot is a perfect for a getaway in the bush. Thoughtful decor and tons of storage and hooks.

Our family had an excellent stay for a weekend! The place had everything we needed, and would be great for a longer stay as well. We loved being so close to the beach.

The entire experience was world class. Not only was the coach house one of the most unique & beautiful air bnb's that I have ever stayed in, but the care & kindness of the hosts (Peri and Andrew) made the experience 7, 8, nay, 10 Stars! The space itself floored us. Everything was so intentional and beautiful. The surroundings were serene, the small touches (like homemade pancake mix, local jam, and a bouquet of flowers) were above and beyond. Being pet friendly was a huge benefit for me since I was travelling from the Maritimes with my best buddy Henderson, and they left out everything needed for a persons-best-friend too! All in all, the experience was top notch, and I would encourage anyone looking for a restful retreat to consider Peri & Andrew's unique coach house :)

We had a great time on our stay here. Just as described, the chalet provides privacy and comfort. The linens on the bed were to die for! Great space for relaxing with a small group and the island is perfect for a games night! They had coffee to get through the mornings and shower essentials as well. We would highly recommend this space for your next trip!

Anthony (and Torque) are superhosts were a pleasure to deal with. Anthony met us upon arrival and walked us through everything we needed to know. We really enjoyed our stay. Cynthia’s place was cozy and beautiful. The appliances are high end and the bedroom and living room spaces were beautifully decorated and comfortable. Cynthia quickly responded to our questions and was very helpful. We definitely will stay here again should we return to Southampton.

Beautiful location, with clear directions on how to find. Hosts were flexible and allowed me to check-in early, which I appreciated so much. It snowed while I was there, and they had the driveway and parking area all cleared. The place was clean & cozy - I would stay again!

A wonderful place to find calm and quiet. The space was beautiful, comfortable, and well-equipped. The hosts clearly went the extra mile; I was cursing myself for forgetting epsom salts to use the jacuzzi tub, but they already had a jar of them on the shelf :) Getting to sit in a cozy gazebo and watch the cows or the cats that wander the property was an amazing treat. While the weather was sunny, we all agreed that the interior would have still made for a great tip on rainy days or in the winter. Definitely somewhere to come back to!
