Cottage holiday rentals in Georgetown County

The house is in a very quiet gated community. The pool, lounge and tennis courts are directly out the front door. There were ample supplies in the home, even K cups for the coffee maker. The hous is well maintained and clean. The beds are very comfortable. Great experience. Also close to many restaurants and grocery stores ( 5-10 min by car)

Kevin reached out prior to our visit to make sure we had all the information we needed. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by little signs, welcoming us, as well as our dog, by name! The beach-themed decor is super cute! The gated deck area and the screened in porch were great for us and our dog. The community is very welcoming and friendly. Having access to the golf cart was helpful and convenient. We enjoyed the pools and Jacuzzi in the community area. Although it rained all week during our stay, we were able to find fun things to do in Myrtle Beach, such as Ripley’s aquarium, the house of mirrors and the haunted house. We highly recommend crabby Mike’s seafood buffet as a fun place to eat. The thermostat on the AC broke during our stay. Kevin was at the door within about 30 minutes and it was fixed by a professional within two hours. We really appreciated his responsiveness! Kevin and Janet were excellent hosts and we enjoyed our stay at the playful pelican very much!

We had a great experience at this Airbnb! The home was very clean and well appointed, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We especially enjoyed having access to the golf cart—it made getting around the neighborhood and to the beach easy and fun. The host provided very detailed instructions, which helped a lot. We also appreciated being able to check in early once the cleaners were finished—such a nice bonus! One thing to keep in mind is that there are several keys and key cards to manage: a house key in a lockbox with a code, a golf cart key, a shed key, and a key card for neighborhood and beach access. The key card must be purchased separately for $30 from the clubhouse, which has specific operating hours—so plan ahead for that. Overall, it was a lovely stay and we’d definitely return!

We enjoyed a beautiful week with my son, his wife and two grandchildren. they loved the golf cart rides and the pools. splash pad was awesome. private beach access was wonderful plus May was perfect weather

Maria’s place was very comfortable and really spotless. She made our dog very welcome too. Easy check in and great communication. We had a really nice stay.

This place exceeded our expectations! From the beginning, Matthew was very communicative and helpful. Check in was easy and the place was pristine! We loved drinking our morning coffee on the front porch overlooking the colorful azaleas. My kids loved the 2 twin bedroom and walking to the golf course. The pool was not open yet but is a great amenity to have so close by. It was a super easy, short drive to the Marsh Walk where we enjoyed food and drinks. If I ever find myself in Murrells Inlet I will stay here again and I would recommend to everyone!

Eric and Leslie's cottage was in perfect condition and in the best location for our needs (close to pool, tennis, golf, and wedding we were in town for). Their instructions were so detailed and the binder left on the counter had everything and more. We really appreciated the organization, convenience, and friendly response. Thank you both! We loved our cottage stay! It was quiet and peaceful. The property manager gave us helpful instructions and tips for things to do around the area. She was extremely friendly and very responsive. The cottage itself was beautiful inside and very clean. It had everything we needed, which I appreciated very much (eg, salt, pepper, foil, sandwich baggies, toilet paper, paper towel, etc). The pool was very close and we took a walk around the neighborhood in the morning to see the beautiful oak trees with Spanish moss. Would definitely recommend staying here! Thank you!

We had a great time at the campground. Our golf cart broke down one of the nights and we got a response immediately from the owner and they rented us a new one for the rest of our stay. We really appreciated the quick response and help. We will absolutely stay here again.

I booked this spot for my daughters 13th birthday. We had a fantastic stay here! The service was excellent, the prices were reasonable, and they really went above and beyond to accommodate all my needs. Highly recommend!

I felt at-home, the place was clean and as described. I do feel like this home was overcharged. Why? The money taken from my account before a conversation was had about the pricing or concrete decision to stay ( I initiallyasked was it availableand was charged immediately, in addition to me being charged for the days I stayed I was charged another $100 for early check-in when the place was not occupied. There were a few roaches but nothing a little spray couldn't handle and I felt like my $100 should have been returned because of the pest issue, other than that the place is nice and a good location from the beach waters.

The stay was wonderful. Jill was very hospitable. Access to the beach was fantastic. Very near to all the happing places in Murells inlet. The home was very clean and well cared for. Thank You.

Tony was very hospitable from the moment we arrived. From the beginning all through our stay we felt like we were visiting family. He gave us a tour along with recommendations on local attractions. The accommodations were comfortable, clean, safe and close to wherever you need to be. I would absolutely stay there again in the future!!

The home was as expected. The only complaint was that the home had a problem with dampness which was being handled by loud dehumidifiers. The beds were a little hard but comfortable. We enjoyed our stay as the Ocean Lakes Campground has a lot of stuff to do and the connivence of the golf cart was very nice. The home was very clean.

My family and I made memories here that will last a lifetime! I loved the guest book and the scripture book. I definitely got to soak up the little things in life here! It felt like a real home , the house was very well put together. This may just become a tradition for my family and I. Shawn was very easy to reach and talk to.

Had a wonderful girls getaway. Location is very convenient and a quick one block walk to beach and fishing pier. 20ish minute drive to Myrtle beach. We went in the fall time, I would imagine that the summer would be fantastic with the pool! The house is beautiful and we loved using the kayaks right off the back yard. Jill was very nice, accommodating and helpful! Only wish there was a hot tub.

The house was fabulous. Everything you need and came with a phenomenal golf cart ! I would definitely recommend. I had never been to this location before but plenty for the whole family to do.

We had a great stay at this home in Ocean Lakes! The house was very clean and exactly as described. You can tell it’s well taken care of. Communication was excellent—the hosts were incredibly responsive. When the key accidentally broke off in the ignition, they were there within 30 minutes to fix it, which we really appreciated, and they didn’t charge us for a key. Would definitely stay here again!
