Holiday rentals in Gello Biscardo

This was a wonderful place to unwind and relax. Everything is peaceful and easy. From the welcome from Elisa to departure we felt looked after. Our apartment/house was beautiful. Everything is done tastefully and well looked after. The breakfast was good and the dinners in the restaurant were superb. On the evenings that the restaurant is closed (Tues and Weds) Elisa provided excellent recommendations within a 10-15 min drive. The swimming pool is amazing, peaceful and refreshing and long enough to swim properly. You can take nice walks in the morning before it's too warm and you can just rest by the pool or explore nearby. Gello Biscardo for us was a place to rest and recover while feeling safe that the hosts were always easily available to help if needed. We're really grateful for the rest and relaxation surrounded by beauty.

Cuando piensas en un siitio tranquilo, bonito, donde descansar y con todas las comodidades… este sitio encaja perfectamente!! Desayunos buenísimos y todo hecho en casa!! Por último, destacar su amabilidad y saber hacer… un 10!!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in Viciomaggio. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, geräumig und versprüht einen tollen Charme (restaurierte Ölmühle). Antike Einrichtungsgegenstände sind mit moderner Ausstattung (Küche, Badezimmer) kombiniert. Die Kommunikation mit Giovanni war freundlich und unkompliziert über den Chat. Ein privater Parkplatz befindet sich direkt an der Wohnung. Die Wohnung bietet einen sehr guten Ausgangspunkt, um die Toskana zu erkunden. Florenz, Arezzo und das Val d'Orcia haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir empfehlen einen Aufenthalt in der Wohnung und würden jederzeit wiederkommen! :)

What a magical, unforgettable place to stay! The home is the perfect size for two, and we felt right at home. It’s very clean with plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, and cooking appliances. We really enjoyed waking up to the sound of birds singing and having breakfast on the patio before making excursions to Siena, Florence, Poppi, or nearby Rufina. The neighbor’s cats also greeted us home when we returned (very lovingly!). Would absolutely love to stay again!

We cannot say enough about how fantastic our stay was. Maybe the most gorgeous property we’ve ever seen - even better than the pictures! Pia was incredibly helpful, sent us a whole printout of recommendations for different restaurants, wineries, and things to do. She is incredibly kind, responsive, and proactive - she thought of everything you may need during your stay and gave us a tour of our home. Waking up in the Tuscan countryside and watching the sun rise over the vineyards was relaxing and beautiful. The sunsets were breathtaking to see over the rolling hills in Chianti. Castellina was a cute little town with fantastic places to eat and panoramic views of the valley. And on top of all that, we made a new friend in the Public Relations Manager, Teo - you can be sure you’ll be greeted with a wagging tail and a happy little smile. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough!

Beautiful, peaceful stay. Amazing, secluded location. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming - made us feel right at home. Lots of great walks around, including the nearby winery. The only downside is it does get rather cold in the stone apartment but during warmer weather the coolness in the apartment would probably be perfect. They provided a portable heater & a hot water bottle though which was nice. Thank you Tebea for being such a lovely host!

Podere le Corticelle exceeded every expectation we had — and then some! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that made us feel like part of the family. The host went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, offering thoughtful recommendations and making sure every detail of our stay was just right. The house itself is immaculate — spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and filled with charming touches that reflect the Tuscan countryside. The accommodations were incredibly comfortable, from the cozy linens to the spacious layout that gave us plenty of room to relax and unwind. Every corner of the home felt intentional and inviting. We especially loved waking up to the peaceful surroundings. It truly felt like a retreat. If you’re looking for an authentic, relaxing, and comfortable escape in Tuscany with a host who truly cares, Podere le Corticelle is the place. We can’t wait to return.

Stedet var helt perfekt for oss, nydelig hus og et hus med sjel. Veldig fin terrasse (veldig deilig med det lille bassenget på varme dager) og hage, koselige stuer. Vi følte oss som hjemme fra første dag. Huset ligger i en hyggelig gammel by. med kort avstand til mange flotte italienske byer, og til mange gode restauranter, men man er helt avhengig av bil. Vi fant også fine muligheter for gåturer. Manuela og Massimo var svært hjelpsomme og hyggelige, ga oss daglige tips om ting å gjøre og steder å besøke, og var veldig fleksible når vi fikk besøk fra Norge. Manuela kom innom med kaker og vin, og hadde laget deilig mat til oss da vi kom, siden alle butikker var stengt i påsken. Vi trivdes veldig godt i Laterina og huset, og kommer gjerne tilbake.
